I want to share my experience, not just for myself, but because I believe these people truly deserve more opportunities and more success. My experience with Daniel from Sanchez Irrigation was so outstanding that I felt compelled to write this. What sets him apart is his honesty--a quality that feels almost impossible to find in today's world. Before calling Sanchez Irrigation, I had several plumbers and irrigation specialists come out. Every one of them gave me conflicting or inflated diagnoses. Some said it was a two-valve solution. Others said regulator replacement. A few even pushed for a major trenching project. None of it felt right, and the costs just kept climbing. Daniel approached things completely differently. He came out the very next morning, patiently tested my system, and gave it the time it needed. Since it hadn't been used in months, he let the sprinklers pop up, loosened the ones grown into the lawn, and carefully diagnosed the system. After all of that, he told me plainly: the system was fine. I didn't need the costly work others tried to upsell me on. I called Daniel at Sanchez irrigation because we had a leak in our sprinkler plumbing valves. First off, Daniel was polite and responsive from my first conversation with him. Daniel came out a couple days later to take a look at the leak. He noted that 2 of the plumbing valves were leaking but the 3rd may also need to be replaced fairly soon, so instead of having another leak down the line I agreed to have all 3 replaced, which they did. I have no complaints about the work they did, everything seemed to be in good order. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars was the cost. It took 30 minutes (literally because I looked at my phone from when they arrived to when he said they were done) to replace the valves and the cost was $400; and that is with $20 off that I negotiated. That's $200 every 15 minutes. For me that's expensive. I just paid it instead of looking for another sprinkler repair person because the valves had been leaking for several days and we wanted to have it fixed. Overall, as I said he was very polite and pleasant, and the work was good, but expensive. read more

What's more is that Daniel answered my call on the very first ring and came out the same day to take care of the issues. I could tell right away this guy was a pro. Can't really rate an "experience"... that I didn't have. I got the impression that my "sprinkler fix" job was not the "goldmine" that was needed at that time. The work that the person suggested was way out of his "wheelhouse" and would have cost me big bucks to rectify. A "professional" should never suggest a drastic measure, when they HAVE NO EXPERIENCE or training in such matters. No, he didn't get the gig. So much for reading reviews. Daniel seems super nice during the estimate just days before. We agreed to a weekly service fee ($160/month); that is all. Was excited to have finally found someone who seemed to just want to do basic business (based on his reviews and that he showed up on time). His team arrived, and this about face with his personality, halfway through. He started getting hostile, changing prices (all of sudden he wants to charge $300 for the first day), saying it was either that, or a five month contract to make up for his efforts, implying we had no choice. A bunch of BS he tried to justify why we should be forced into a five month contract, progressively showing more and more anger/hostility). Broke a recently installed water head, denied it, got hostile again, and his team managed to do everything (poorly) we hadn't discussed. None of his new rates had been discussed during the estimate four days earlier and the lawn (the main thing, which isn't even a full lawn atm) miraculously has all kind of patches that are sticking up uncut. Looks like a basic hustle, using anger and bullying as attempts to intimidate. He tried pressuring me to come back to get payment at our house. Nah, dude, take your street behavior elsewhere; you don't get another chance to get hostile with us on our own property. Wouldn't accept payment for what we actually agreed to by mail. (No business address?) Laverne police don't like this sort of thing; neither do our neighbors. New news: Daniel kept bringing up that he was licensed (I didn't ask, actually). City Hall states Sanchez Irrigation has no license. read more

I called Sanchez irrigation after trying to adjust one of my sprinkler heads and it popped off, giving the effect of a Yellow Stone geyser! They answered and scheduled me right away. On the day of, they were able to fit me in a bit earlier than scheduled, which was great for me. I showed them the sprinkler and two others that were also damaged and not working properly. They fixed all three for a very reasonable price and Daniel even walked me through how to use the sprinkler timer and appropriate water timing for each section of my property! Based on others' reviews, we contacted Daniel for a consult on our irrigation system. That work increased in scope when we saw the work ethic and precision of his crew. In all (so far) he has installed stunning pavers replacing our broken concrete patio, additional walkways, and a beautiful round seating area for our view spot. I first contacted Sanchez Irrigation because my sprinkler system had a broken pipe. They came within a couple hours of me calling. The broken pipe was fixed as well as updating the hose spout and main valve shut off. The job was done within two hours. After the 48 hours of needing it to be shut off so everything could bond correctly, I tested the sprinkler system and everything worked great. I also asked if they did lawn mowing services and they told me yes. Within a week they did an amazing job in cutting my lawn. I thought the price was good for both services I requested. Had Daniel convert our above ground sprinklers into an extremely efficient drip system ! His crew also cleaned beds and spread extra mulch! That was the front yard......... had them back to rework a portion of our backyard system that was going to be under new concrete! Then Daniel refitted a whole drip system along a 45' wall moved all plants back 3 feet and fully mulched the whole backyard as well as the front! Today they laid a 7'x 5' paved area for our grill! I had contacted Daniel Sanchez a few months ago since I was having coverage issues with my lawn sprinkler system. Daniel showed up shortly and told me that my irrigation system was fine and properly designed. Rather my issue was water pressure. I then contacted my water provider and I learned that they had an issue at their end which they recently fixed. Sanchez did not charge me for the visit or consultation. I was surprised and very appreciative for this. Several months later, I had an issue with one of the sprinkler valves which would not shut off. I contacted Daniel again and we scheduled a time for him to come over. He also texted me the estimate to do the job. He showed up promptly and fixed my issue. I can't tell you how often we get no response at all with landscape services---not even a "sorry, too busy right now with other projects, can't help you" simple courtesy. 2. Good communication.
