This is a great hidden gem. It's a local business that you can count on for your tool needs. I needed a socket reducer for my Milwaukee impact wrench and was certain they would help me. The gentleman explained the pros and cons of using a reducer with an impact wrench. He offered me an American made reducer and installed it for me. Great place to find quality brand tools. The guys who run it are very knowledgeable in just about all things tools for all trades.

Found this gem after looking online at the major retailers (Home Depot & Lowes) for a Senco air compressor for my hubby that needed it ASAP for work. Little did we know that they didn't carry it in store and if we bought it from them would have waited a week to get it delivered. After searching on Yelp I called the Tool Shack and they told me they had it on hand. Thank goodness! I didn't have to drive 1+ hr away and back to get it at my hubby 's usual spot when he can't find something at a major store. Don't expect the store to carry everything like Home Depot or Lowes. Yes they'll have some basic/needed/important tools. But, what makes this place AWESOME are specialty and hard to get tools from certain brands. I felt comfortable coming in here and was taken care. Pete is warmhearted person, I was trying to buy some face mask and went to home depot, Lowe's, which they had been all sold out, by a lucky chance I searched by pete's tool store online and went there, after he heard of that my families were in China and they really need some face mask for coronavirus protection, Pete gave me the remaining 10 N-95 mask left in his store for free! Also he told me to come back few days later to buy more mask that he ordered before, sold me the really cheap price for all his mask almost 500 in total, those back orders helped me and my family a lot, really appreciated this man and his business! read more

I was motivated to spend the time write this review for 2 reasons. One, Pete has the best customer service out of any business I have ever been too. It's amazing how easy going and likeable his guy is. He makes you comfortable and explains everything in a easy way for you to understand. The Tool Shack fixed my makita drill and my dewalt drill at a very cheap price and I wouldn't recommend anywhere else. My only minor complaint is that both times after waiting a few days and after I had already given them my number, they didn't call me. So I became suspicious and called them and they said my drill was already ready and waiting so I was confused why both times they didn't call me when it was ready. But it wasn't a big deal and their reasonable price and customer service still makes it very worth it. read more
