They had great advice and just what I needed for our special project. Better than the big box stores.

I brought in a very small machine screw from my bicycle. They went to the back and came out with exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!!

Unfortunately, So Cal did not have what I needed which was 3" 1/4-20 couplers. I ultimately found exactly what I wanted in black at Studio Tools of all places. Overall. So Cal has great customer service and the salesman was tremendous. He recommended a local machine shop I will check out. My only complaint is their $10 minimum. While I still have issues with a minimum on a credit card, I understand the fees. If I am paying cash there should be zero minimum. Honestly, every customer for all businesses needs to start only using cash if they don't want the IRS tracking their activities. read more

Went in for loctite and a few washers. Probably $8 worth of stuff and was told $10 minimum transaction (I had cash in hand). Really? Rather see me go somewhere else over $8 cash? I guess I don't get it. It's not like the guy was doing anything anyway. read more

Nice place. Inventory great. Only downfall is that the place is not open on the weekend. Would be nice if at least it was open on Saturday (close on Wed or Thur, if you want to offset this day). There are plenty of people who do side-jobs on the weekend, and the ability for us to go to this store, at least on Saturday, would be great. It would seem this small business is overlooking a potential for additional sales/profit, that is not being taken advantage of. read more

I needed to find bolts to replace the ones that came with an office chair that I recently purchased. The bolts that came with the chair were just too short to connect to the pre-installed nuts on the legs of the chair. I originally went to Lowe's but they did not have what I needed. The employee suggested that I check with So Cal Bolt & Supply, which was right down the street from Lowe's. I came in, showed the employee the original bolt, and described what I needed. He came back a few minutes later with exactly the bolts that I needed. There is currently a $10 minimum which is totally understandable. If you are looking for any type of screw or bolt, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. I would not hesitate to come again. read more

Had what I needed. Quick service. Courteous and sincerely friendly. Easy parking. Nice weather.

Went to home depot and they didn't have this exact size screw I'm looking for. Got recommended to come here. They have pretty much any screw your looking for. They were really friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this place if you're not sure the size of your screw or have any questions with this sort of things! Side note: I found the similar size screw homedepot employee told me to get at home depot. But it wasn't the absolute perfect fit. Not saying the worker wasn't good but because of the limited supply they have. read more

This place has everything here. I was looking for 4- Allan Flat Cap Screws in a certain size and grade 5 for a propride trailer hitch. Home Depot and Ace hardware did not carry these at all. Then I googled bolts and found out about this place. I never knew about this place. All the staff here were super nice. They had exactly what I wanted in stock. Amazing. I will definitely come here for all my Nuts and bolts needs. read more

$10 minimum or some BS like that. This place doesn't want to sell to the public, they said it was not possible to pay someone to work the front for items under $10 purchases. Just go to ACE or Home Depot, they have better pricing anyhow. Don't go there if you only need a few bolts, you'll end buying things you don't need, or youll just leave & waste your time like me. BTW, No Grade 9 bolts sold here. Just go to ACE read more

My boss sent me here to find very specific screws for a specific function... I described my situation to them and the three staff members who were there were all extremely thoughtful and helpful! They brainstormed different types of screws that could help with my project and eventually let me bring two back to the office for free to test it out!! I was so incredibly touched by the offer and how generous they were about letting me take the two screws back. Turns out the screws worked perfectly so I will be returning shortly to purchase more! Tip: it was a little difficult to find the shop. Just make sure you go into the right complex and drive all the way down! read more

Great Family owned business!! Spent a whole day the day before looking for a particular bolt/adapter for a CO2 tank. Only to end up empty handed with an unfinished project. I was about to head out to a bolt business in Covina whom will remain nameless at the point, however that business rhymes with "ring jolt" "bling colt" but here's the thing they are way over priced and have terrible costumer service!!! So before I left on that long drive to King bolt, oooops sorry, I googled for a local bolt shop. Thats when I found this diamond sitting at the back end of a industrial complex, waiting for my business. SoCal Bolt had great costumer service, had exactly what I needed, I got it within a minute!!!!! They have everything you need and you get it with a smile at a decent price. Look no further you found your small business bolt kingdom!!!! read more

So Cal Bolt & Supply - Hardware Stores Near Me - Upland, California

After visiting Lowes, Home Depot, and even an RV repair shop, I could not find a particular rolled pin. The young lady at Arrow Trailer supply referred me to So Cal Bolt. The guy there was friendly, knew exactly what I needed and gave me an incredibly fair price. Would recommend them to all my friends... and I like my friends! read more

Stopped by for some bicycle axle nuts and some small screws for pedals. Although they didn't have the flanged axle nuts they did have the pedal screws. Needed metric bolts that were strong while working on my motorcycle. Tried Home Depot & Lowes, no luck. However, the rep at Home Depot suggested SoCal Bolts. It was close, so drove there and gave them a shot. It's a small store. The gentleman in the back was assertive and immediately came to assist. Unfortunately, they didn't have the 10-1.25 bolt either. 'Bolt' is literally in their store name but they don't have a fairly common metric bolt. There is also a sign over the door that says "$5 minimum - Due to Cost of doing business". So even if your paying cash, there is a minimum???? Doesn't make sense to me. So, if you need a bolt and your in the area, I guess give them a try. But make sure you need more than 5$ worth of stuff... read more

They got everything you need, chad helped me get some bolts for my motorcycle and we found exactly what I needed I was in and out in no time. Definitely coming back read more

Bought a used car and had problems with a panel. The previous owner replaced the old door with a door for another model year and the door panels didnt match. Couldnt find the exact bolt to fasten the inner door handle/lock on and none of the autoparts stores had it and neither did Home Depot. Found these guys and they found the bolt I needed. VERY helpful and was out of there in less than 5 minutes. Chad helped me out. Super affordable as well! Felt i cheated them on the price they gave me. Thanks guys!! read more

Everytime I come here the people are amazing. I probably spend a few hundred a year but occasionally I need one missing bolt, nut, washer, etc. Today, I needed a bolt I had dropped and could find, the guy was right on it, pleasant, and got me exactly what I needed, and all before 9am. I would recommend SoCal bolt to everyone, the customer service is tops, and the staff is A list. read more

Felt comfortable walking in a auto hardware store...... I know this business would not be here if the employees didn't know they products. I was right!! The lady in the front greeted us with smiles and pleasantries and showed us to the next room for parts. The gentlemen who came out greeted us a helpful "how can I help you" smile. We showed him what we needed and he took our sample and said I'll be back. He came out with a box of bolts we needed for our two cars license plates that we couldn't find at Pep Boys and Auto Zone. By the way both of these places referred us to So Cal Bolt!! Awesome.... I really enjoyed the customer service and knowledge that So Cal Bolts provide to their customers !!! Thank you & Rock On!! read more

At the recommendation of Lowe's (surprise!) I went to SoCal Bolt to find a single bolt for a cabinet knob that my painter lost. It was an odd one. These guys were fabulous! I was a bit intimidated going to the place as it looked like a place in which inventory would be nightmare with zillions of bins with every size thing from tiny to giant. Additionally, many professional tradesmen were ordering thousands of items.... and then there is me with my one little bolt. I found the staff to be delightful, accommodating, and did not treat me like an idiot. And they figured out my problem! THANK YOU for serving the very small order customer! Kudos! read more
