My shopping experience here is like any other big box store - prices are decent, they have a great inventory for one-stop home project shopping, and the employees are basically useless. My wife and I made the huge mistake of buying laminate flooring and having HD install it. The planning, scheduling and actual installation went OK, until 1 month later the floorboards started separating. We filed a claim, HD had the installer come inspect it, called it a product defect, HD filed a claim with manufacturer (Pergo), Pergo had an independent adjuster come inspect it, they ended up denying the claim, HD ended up blaming the problem on the installer (3rd party company - Romanoff Renovations, which was actually great to work with - I will be giving them a glowing review), installer denied the claim so in the end HD had to eat the cost of a complete floor replacement. In the end, yes, we did get replacement floors installed. BUT, this process took 5 MONTHS and over 100 phone calls to HD (no exaggeration - I have the phone logs) and the so-called local service department, which is impossible to reach and never returns calls. During the entire process we were completely in the dark about what was going on or the timeline or anything. Long story short - THINK TWICE about hiring HD for any kind of home project. Go with local companies with actual professionals who care about their customers. read more

Friendly people, good customer service. Good prices for appliances especially washing and drying machines, however not the best. For small items like piping, electrical, garage and house repair items the prices are all pretty good. Also a decent selection of plants and gardenware although I've only purchased a few items from this department. I really like the online search feature that tells you exactly which aisle and bin# the item is in the store, makes navigating the giant warehouse much easier. Also, was able to use NFC to pay for the first time. Also easy and convenient. Nothing really super outstanding but overall for a big box store this is pretty good. read more

I love Home Improvement Stores. If I can do the work myself and save $$$ I will. With that said, I frequent these type of stores. Now, don't get me wrong with this review, I like Home Depot but wanted to share my experience at this particular location: I used to live in the Bothell area and would frequent this store as it was the closest one. It's a typical warehouse, home improvement chain store. This one in particular I grew to not be a fan of. during the period of time that I was going there I found that some of the staff were not helpful/knowledgeable about the particular project I needed advice on. I've experienced broken equipment (nothing above $100) that when I returned it was met with a 1000 questions as to why the equipment was broken. It was several of these conversations and material returns that made me seek out another Home Depot location. I even sent the store manager a couple of emails about my experience at his store and they never answered. I know go to the one in Snohomish. I like Home Depot but I do not recommend this store location. read more

The worst phone service. I called to ask about ducting, waited over 5 minutes and got transferred to lumber, lumber guy transfer me to plumbing waited over 5 minutes, plumbing guy answers, poor reception, voice breaking up, tells me to call back, then hangs up. I am completely blown away how horrible it is shopping at Home Depot these days!  I have lived in this area for over 20 years and have witnessed the huge decline in quality shopping at your store.  Your inventory accuracy is deplorable!  Convenience is the only reason I still come in. You went from being proactive with a helpful staff to lazy and simply unreliable one. In the past eight months, my girlfriend has been making large purchases to update her place.  The hassles and run-arounds caused by your store is unfathomable! Home Depot has lost its primary objective, to keep your customers happy so they will return! To put it kindly, even some of your seasoned staff that used to be great to deal with are now unpleasant.   On September 19, 2017 approx. 11:30am, I came in to return a marble counter that was damaged in transit.  We could have had a major accident due to our load being unbalanced, top heavy and not properly strapped to the pallet.  The staff member I dealt with at the "customer service" counter was not only unsympathetic to the primary cause of the situation but also questioned my intelligence.  Guy wouldn't even address my girlfriend the primary customer when she arrived. All of this after my girlfriend and I discussed the entire matter with the manager the day it occurred!  Note: The day it occurred, Alex the manager was very helpful in trying to resolve the issue. After the "Customer Service" clerk brought up the account, he then seemed to settle a bit but the guy would not give eye contact, properly address me man to man or possess any willingness to ease the distain he had on this face!   In these eight months period, we have spent no less than three hours waiting with zero results dealing with Home Depot.  We have had to drive to other stores to pick up parts we ordered and were given confirmation they were in store "Woodinville". We have set aside our time to complete certain projects and were unable to do them.  Scheduled and rescheduled contractors because of your being unreliable. We even hired your contractor to complete a project that he claimed couldn't be completed just to find out others from your crews admitted he was lazy and it could have been.  Your delivery service is a joke as well.  I cannot express how disappointed I am with your company. read more

Not impressed with the customer service here. We went to this location specifically because it's by the home we just purchased to BUY a washer and dryer. We had some old dinosaur of a sales rep named Carl H. who didn't know how to use the store/company website/computer and was completely disinterested in trying to make a sale. The model we wanted was not present on the floor and Carl was unable to figure out if the store had the item. After waiting 15 mins for a sales rep to even come our way and after waiting to Carl to figure his job out, we left to go to Best Buy to make the $1400 purchase. Way to go Carl, you just bombed a potential $1400 purchase. As someone who works in sales, I am surprised an employee like this is still a part of the team. Employees should be engaged and KNOWLEDGEABLE about the product they are selling. I'd let this one go Home Depot. read more

So use to walking aimlessly around big box hardware stores looking for a salespersonon the floor anywhere! Luckily this didn't happen to me at Home Depot Bothell. Best customer service I have ever received in one of these kind of stores that are necessary but unfamiliar and hard to navigate. On this occasion I didn't have to walk more than a few feet before running into salesperson Mark (he works in gardening area and has blue glasses). He was amazing! Very patient and helped me locate my longish list of needed items. Best of all, he offered his personal advice on products he had previously purchased/used and was happy to help me pick out a few items. He walked with me from the garden to other sections in the store, all the while managing to offer help and attention to customers we passed . I will definitely be coming to see the man with the bright blue glasses (Mark), any time I need something from Home Depot. read more

I like this Home Depot because they have everything you need for home improvement projects and general use in the home or garden. Prices are reasonable and customer service is pretty good. Most of the time if I need help finding an item, a HD employee will take me right to its location. However, some employees aren't as helpful and prefer to tell you where it is without offering to show you. A sign of true customer service is making sure your customer finds what they need as easily and quickly as possible. Another plus about this HD is that I can usually find someone in each department who has enough knowledge of the products or skills in something to explain how to do my project and help figure out what I need for the job. The downside is, this is a chain, so they have a lot of employees and some are not as good as others. At the self-checkout they always have someone to help speed up the process. It's a big enough store to find a place to park and I like that they have parking spots reserved for Veterans, too. read more

Such a waste of time I ordered windows for my house. After they finally got delivered I installed them and found that two of the windows I had installed didn't have the rollers they were supposed to come with. So I called the store and gave them all the information and they assured me that the person who was handling my situation (andria) would take care of everything. Three weeks later I call and leave andria a voicemail and nothing. I called the store and they said she was in but would call me back as she was very busy. Being that I was 5 minutes away I just decided to come into the store When I got to windows I saw andria sitting at her desk talking with a co worker. Then after talking about my window problem she called the manufacturer and they sent out replacement rollers. What's annoying about this is that this was supposed to have happened 3 weeks ago and probably wouldn't have happened if I didn't actually come into the store and watch her call them. She then proceeded to help other people while being on hold for me and had a difficult time handling the two sides. I would order windows again from Home Depot but definitely not from this store. I could have saved myself three weeks had I just came down and not been under the impression that it was being handled, because it wasn't read more

A good place to get what you want. Generally service is good but sometimes you cannot find help. Generally, HD is a step below Lowes in product 'quality' selection but good for most everyday needs. I go there at least once a week. Location is key reason. This is a large store and generally parking is lousy. Their parking slot width is WAY too small for the customer needs to fight to fit stuff in a car. Expect a parking struggle every time. read more

I wanted to share the way I was treated by one of the employees at this store. After having searched for someone to assist me in sawing wood for about 10 minutes or so, I went up to the Pro Customer Service desk in front of all the wood and explained I needed help back there. Without even looking at me in the face, Greg (the representative) asked if I looked around for someone back there. I told him yes. He them picked up the phone to call the department. After he couldn't reach anyone, he asked for someone to assist me at the saw. As I walked off, he said, "Good luck with that." This frustrated me, but I figured someone would still come and assist me (even though I was brushed off). After about 5 minutes, other customers lined up behind me wondering if they could assistance, too. I told them I had asked up front. After about 10 more minutes, I asked an employee in plumbing/doors if they could help all 7 of us get some help at the saw; he was working with a customer, but said he would when he was finished. After another 10 minutes, I went back up and spoke to Greg, this comes after another customer had calles the front desk from her phone while we were back there and explained she needed service. Greg then said he would call management because no one is helping. After that, I asked Greg if I heard him correclty when he told me, "Good luck with that." He then replied that he meant it with all sincerity and was not trying to be sacastic. I accpeted that answer, but I explained that I ahould probably tell management just in case (as I felt entirely unhelped, not cared for, and frustrated). I write because regardless of the intent of the statement, suchba phrase should not be the response when a customer is seek assistance. I honestly don't even know if managment would get this email, or what the response may be, but as a paying customer, I deserve better. Needless to say, after 30 minutes, I left the wood, bought another product, and existed the store. A few other customers left as well. read more

OK so it's home depot, we all know what we're going here for. My biggest problem with this location is the lack of cashiers during busy hours. My other problem with this location is there is so much stuff in the aisle ways in the garden section! Going through a horrible experience after ordering washer and dryer (stackable) from the Home Depot Bothel store. The order was at my home on the promised delivery date - that's when all the problem started. First the delivery guys took out my old washer (not in working condition) and dryer (was working fine, thought to replace this along with washer to have my laundry look uniform), brought the new ones and then they realized that they are unable to take out one of the washer's hose which got stuck may be for corrosion. I requested them to install the dryer at least, upon that I came to know that the stacking kit was not delivered along with the order. The delivery folks advised me to visit home depot to get the order corrected and reschedule the installation. I went to the appliance department of the store. After waiting for more than 20 minutes they sent me to the service desk. Service desk told me that ideally this should have been taken care by appliance department but anyway they will send a note to the appliance installation department. I waited next few days expecting a call from Home Depot, Bothel as they promised. But I did not get any call. Then started calling them. I called them several times and each time I was on wait as the appliance department line was busy. I think, I was on hold for more than 2 hours if I add up all my calls (I got a call back though, which I could not receive as I was in a meeting). With no hope of response to my call, I again went to Home Depot. This time the appliance department person set with me to hear my issue. The discussion was cordial and I got some hope that my issue will be addressed. As I went in the evening (8 PM), I was told that only next morning I will be given a date to fix the appointment or about the availability of the stacking kit. I waited for 2 days, did not receive any call. Again I started calling Home Depot, now I dialed the extension of the appliance department, still no response. My situation - no working washer and dryer at home. New washer and dryer are lying in my garage but I don't know when these will be installed. Don't know how many times I will have to go to the store to get a installation date. Have a 10 months baby, whose clothes need wash at least 2 times a week. Going to coin laundry - wasting at least 2 hours every time I go there, along with approx, $20 bill. SUPER FRUSTRATED. I will never buy any appliance from Home Depot. Update: Today it was supposed to be installed. 7 am to 11 am window was scheduled but no one turned up. Got a call that no driver is available. How ridiculous it is, you are running business with no backup driver. After that called Home Depot many times today, no one responded to my call. Now not frustrated anymore, cursing myself what a mistake I did buying the appliances from Home Depot. Update: At last the installation was done yesterday. read more

Home Depot visit today, not so good. It seems they don't keep the shelves very stocked up these days. Not sure what's going on over there. When I asked for help the gentleman didn't seem to excited to jump into action. The product I needed was stocked outside and had to be brought in. This process took an hour. Once the product was inside the store the fork lift driver (a young man) dropped the entire load on the floor. I waited an hour and didn't even end up getting my product. I had to go to a different Location 40 minutes away. The young man told me to come back tomorrow not to happy cause I needed the product today. I, of course, ended up with my hands full of other items. Emily, not only took everything out of my hands to help me carry all my items, she went out of her way to grab me a cart, made my keys, AND checked me out. For the most part the people who work at Home Depot have no idea what they're doing. And a lot of times they can't even find their own products on their shelves. I had ordered a utility tub for my garage and a week later it turned out they never even ordered it but at least they upgraded me for free. Likewise I also had trouble getting my windows and when I did get the windows one was missing a screen. read more

We ordered a fan from Home Depot online, and what was delivered was not even the same brand. It was the wrong product entirely. When I couldn't speak to a live person at the 800 number, and didn't get a response from the text option, I called the Bothell store and was connected to customer service. I have never received such poor service from a cs rep in my life. She kept me on hold for long periods of silence, asked me to repeat myself several times, and then finally said "I can't cancel the order so you'll have to call back." When I asked her what she meant, she just kept repeating "you'll have to call back because there's nothing we can do." I asked her who I should call and she said Homedepot.com, then sent me back to the same phone queue. I called back to the store and reached a very nice gentleman in electrical who said I could bring the fan to the store to exchange it in person. That's not ideal but the fan is scheduled to be installed in two days and we just need the one we bought. We spoke to them multiple times about a mini skid steer and confirmed that it was available for rent. After calling to see if we needed to provide a credit card to hold it and confirming the required hitch ball size we then rented a truck to tow the trailer. This rating applies to the once-monthly free kid's activity Home Depot offers. We thought this was a great idea! A good way for Home Depot to get customers in the doors, encourage kids to participate in home improvements (building future potential customers), and provide some free fun for the community. We registered way ahead of time for our child's very first time participating and were very excited! We were told that they set aside enough activities for the number of people who register, then the rest are first-come, first-served. When we arrived well within the event timeframe, we were told they had run out of projects, we couldn't participate, and that this specific store flatly ignores the registration because it's easier that way. We were told to arrive early next time and not even bother registering. That's it. I acknowledge this is a free event. We did not pay. However, when a company offers a regular free promotion to drive traffic and I follow all of their rules, I don't expect to get flatly turned away at the door with a very disappointed child to console. ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDINGLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM HOME DEPOT!vAm four months into trying to get Home Depot to honor a warrantly on a three year old refrigerator with the additional five year warranty that is freezing all the food in the refrigerator compartment. So far I have been to the Home Depot store a dozen times to deal with this. Even with proof of warranty and receipt in hand showing my original purchase and the credit card it was purchased with and which I still have and showed them it still took three hours to verify the purchase. Our address is the same as where it was delivered and we still live there- all confirmed yet it still took three hours. The repair techs have been out twice causing me to lose two entire days to being available for them to examine the refrigerator. After the first visit it was suggested we try a different setting which I agreed to. When I called to say the setting did not change anything I was told I had to start a new claim. OMG- so I start over and they come out again and said they needed to order parts. I hear nothing back for two weeks so I contact them and find out the part was not available at this time. Then I was informed by Maytag the part is not available until possibly 12/30/2022. Not acceptable. After three more calls to "store managers" who promised to call me back and get to the bottom of the situation, I have not heard back from anyone and am now on hold trying again for nineteen minutes at this time and still counting. IN the meanwhile I can keep no eggs, yogurt, vegetables that cannot be frozen, dairy, cheeses in the fridge. It is basically one big freezer at this point.
