We were sat promptly for our 7:00 reservation, and first saw our server about 20 minutes after we sat down. We ordered a round of 4 drinks, where we waited another 20 minutes for them to arrive. My glass sat empty for quite sometime before our server came back over. Around 8:30 we ordered a second round of drinks, and at 9:00, they arrived. I immediately asked for the tab because I didn't think I'd see our server again, and she brought it over right away. Don't come here if you're in a rush!

The rooftop views are some of the best in the city, especially once Seattle starts lighting up, and the atmosphere is ultimately what you show up and stay for. Drinks are definitely pricey at $20+, but I appreciate that the snacks remain closer to happy hour pricing. We ordered the shishito peppers and hummus plate for around $11-$12 each, which felt surprisingly reasonable considering the setting. Staff was suuuuper nice! And after striking out on espresso martinis at our previous stop, we finally got our redemption here. The Nest's espresso martini ranks somewhere mid-tier for me compared to others around the city, but at that point we were just happy to have one in hand. You're definitely paying a premium for cocktails, but the food pricing helps balance things out and that view makes a pretty convincing argument for staying for another round. Come for a drink. Stay because Seattle looks really good from up here.

Service was great as I was quickly led to the bar as soon as I walked in and was quickly greeted by the bartenders. I was recommended two drinks out of the options I had given my bartender. The first was Santiago and saints. It was highly recommended and for good reason. It hit the spot after a humid day and was a refreshing start to my evening. Well balanced, bright, and cucumbery! The second drink I had was the espresso martini and this one was perfectly balanced and creamy! Would definitely come back. The only downside to the place is the price of cocktails. Also insider information I got from locals was to park at the Amazon garage at certain hours which I did for this because it's free during certain hours of the weekdays and weekends.

Who deserves 10 stars? The Loupe Lounge does!…read more Here is the story. If you have a long layover you can stay at the airport or you can be a rebel and venture into the city. I am a rebel with a food cause and opted to dine at The Loupe Lounge on my layover. Well, that was the master plan but coming from Maui, there were delays and my little mission was diverted. Abort? Absolutely NOT! Being a SUPER optimistic about everything in life, I rushed to make a 5:30 p.m. reservation at 7:00 p.m. I know, it was pushing it but for $150 a person I did not want this opportunity to go to waste. We arrived at The Space Needle and were whisked up to The Loupe Lounge. The host was not sure if they could still serve us so she rushed to get the manager. She must have gone back to NYC Fashion Week because here comes the manager looking like a whole GQ model, super trendy manager in the house! Well, he accommodated us, very cool of him. You're an Angel cause we were starving! The food was packaged to go, it was so delicious I'm super bummed that we didn't get to experience this in person. It was pretty in a box can't imagine what it would have been like in person! Beggars can't be choosers! The meal was fantastic! Caviar was packaged with ice! How accommodating and it passed TSA. Drinks were amazing and Andrea was the BEST waitress! Lucky we had her! Overall, if I'm back in Seattle this is back on my to-do list! Very cool experience and worth every penny! Honestly pretty cheap considering all you get! The drinks alone were worth it!

The drinks are nothing special and definitely not the highlight, but they get the job done while you take in one of the best panoramas in Seattle. You can see all of downtown, the Puget Sound, and the peninsula across the water as the floor slowly rotates. It's an easy, relaxed way to take in everything without having to move around. Bottom line: don't come expecting craft-cocktail magic. Come for the incredible views, the unique experience, and the chance to see Seattle from above in a way that never gets old.

Past visit 2+ years ago the reservation is through Tock. Recently the reservation is through OpenTable so I thought the points credits will be honored here as they are in the OpenTable network, so I redeemed points to discount $8, only to not be applied to the bill since the reservation $15 per person is a deposit and refunded on seating, instead of most places where the deposit deducts the cost of the final bill. None of the bartenders could do anything, and didn't bother raising this to management (probably downstairs at Tavern Law could've remedied the situation but the short turnaround time implied they didn't try). Additionally, when I got my drink, the bartender did not bother taking a second look to see there's a bug. It was deep inside the drink, not at the top, so the bug did not just fly and land on the drink after being served. So it was a bit negligent, especially given they jacked up the price from $21 to $25 in just 2 years. The price increase did not justify the quality, if anything, price went up significantly and quality dropped... The bartender addressed the issue by remaking the drink but the drink was noticeably smaller than the original one. It would only have made sense if I drank a lot of it, but I only had small sip stopped when I saw the bug. The experience was very frustrating overall that I didn't wish to tip, only to find out they added a 20%+ service charge without my consent when I looked at the credit card statement. That is fraud. Fraudulently adding a tip to yourself earned you a 1 star. Otherwise this would've been more a 3 star experience due to the miss from the bug, and the OpenTable issue.

We had to get on a wait list which proved to not be much of a long wait at all. When we sat down it was at a small table and it was packed. To eat their menu is kind of snack oriented as opposed to full scale meals. We got two of the snacks. One of the ones we got was the Broccolini & Garlic Ricotta Toast. This was a good snack although eating the Broccolini with the toast was a little bit difficult as the broccoli wasn't easy to bite through while the toast was. Still very tasty though. The other snack was Sweet & Spicy Chicken Bites which were popcorn sized chicken bites put in Gochujang Sauce and rolled in sesame seeds and scallions. We definitely liked this snack the best. For cocktails one of the ones we got was the Gemini Season. This was a great cocktail as it was made up of sake, matcha, yuzu, ginger liquer and simple syrup.
