"First Class" service, friendly,kind,staff dressed professionally, clean aprons, clean uniforms, hygiene & goodlooking staffers, great representation...this place definitely has it going on but the food lacked presentation & flavor for the price. Pretty pricey! The Henry offers vegan, gluten free, organic & all that jazz :) I would highly recommend the scallops without the cream sauce.The Caesar salad was ok, nothing special, the spicy fried rice was mushy, lacked flavor no presentation & the Mac/cheese lacked flavor.Food can be gluten free, vegan, organic, healthy, ect...but it can also be favorable. I really enjoy this place but the bar is slow and they could kick up the service a notch, I say this bc I sat too long without a water or wine refill. Our server was really nice and knowledgeable about the menu but he just could have popped over to check in more often. The food is phenomenal though! I recently enjoyed a dinner out with some friends. Pleasantly surprised food was exceptionally good. Even the salads were fresh and taster than expected. I had the braised ribs it was excellent. Absolutely gorgeous upscale bistro that offers a great variety of delicious selections. This restaurant is much more spacious than it seems like from the outside and the interior is a nice balance of casual, yet sophisticated. A spacious patio wrapped around the outside that looked pleasant too. The service was what you'd expect from a place like this - friendly and welcoming. I ordered a refreshing salad packed with unique textures and flavors that hit the spot, but it was pretty expensive for a salad and a small piece of (albeit, perfectly cooked) salmon. My mom and I came here for a Monday lunch. The restaurant is huge and most of the parking lot was completely full. They have complimentary valet so we just dropped our car off with them. Come a few minutes before your reservation so that you have time for all of that! We ordered the Seared tuna chop salad and the Harvest Bowl with an egg on top. They were amazing. The salad had such an incredible dressing and tasted so fresh and refreshing. The tuna was cut up in smaller pieces which allowed them to get covered with the dressing and were perfectly bite sized. The harvest bowl was a great combination of flavors. The portabella mushrooms were probably my favorite part - so flavorful! I also really enjoyed the pesto. Service was great. The inside was beautiful. We had "bar reservations" and got to sit on these super comfy chairs with a small table near the bar - even better! I would definitely be back! First time in. Loud. Music with a nice beat but hard to have any meaningful conversation. We thought the service was really slow. You had your hunt people down to even get a drink or to pay. We were charged someone else's drink on our bar tab (cleared up), and they never brought our hot tea with dinner (gave up) but honestly the food was amazing and made up for it. No parking out front. The staff at The Henry Arcadia make the dining experience exceptional. A friend and I went to The Henry Arcadia last Friday for my birthday and I had messed up the reservation, thought I had made one, but had not. Theresa, a hostess, answered the phone that afternoon when I was trying to figure out what had gone wrong. She went above and beyond to secure a table for me at the last minute on a busy Friday night when I told her my issue. Great personality, and actually called me back with a better idea that her first one. Then when we arrived, she had secured us an even better table. Theresa is a huge asset to The Henry. I've never had a hostess try and please the customer this much...ever. You would have thought she owned the place. read more

Came on a busy Monday night. Waited 25 minutes to be seated. Got a cute table outside with two heaters on since it was a bit chilly. Happy hour is 20% off cocktails. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Nice menu and decently priced food. We actually left without being served as it was so busy. No offense to the restaurant, we just decided to go somewhere else after seated. Officially my new favorite restaurant in Scottsdale. Almost everything I put in my mouth was amazing! And I put a lot in mouth today. We started with 5 appetizers between the four of us, because that's how we roll. Spicy tuna on crispy rice. So much flavor, and I loved the contrast of the soft tuna against that crispy rice cake. So good! Umami' brussels- amazing!! Short rib pot stickers- honestly the best I've ever had, the way the short rib just melts in your mouth! Grilled chilled shrimp, this was my least favorite, not a fan of the cold shrimp, I wish they would serve it warm off the grill. Crispy sweet potatoes- I absolutely loved these, but such a small portion for the price. Give me more! Entrees; Braised short rib, so delicious, again, melt in your mouth meat, and the flavor from the bourbon caramel, so good! Lobster truffle tagliatelle, we have to laugh about this, because my 9 year son wanted this, and it was everyone's favorite bite from the entrees, amazing! Korean prime skirt steak, boys gobbled this up, tender meat, and the double egg fried rice was so flavorful! My dish was the Harvest bowl add salmon, and holy cow, one of the best bowls I've ever had, everything was perfect! The ambiance is exquisite, beautiful space, and our server was so kind. At a business lunch, orders the turkey and avocado salad. Requested dressing on the side more than once. Salad arrives with dressing added. I stick with it and by the time I've eaten through part of the top layer I realize the lettuce is not fresh and the salad has become soggy with too much vinaigrette dressing. Turkey was bland and flavorless. If you're going to put forward a mediocre salad with no kitchen quality control, I'm not coming back for something else. Disappointing. read more

We came here tonight as a family of 8. We had a reservation and were promptly seated at a nice large table. Loved the atmosphere and feel of the restaurant. We had 2 toddlers with us and they provided booster seats quickly for us and even gave my little guy some coloring sheets. We usually bring our own coloring because I know some places don't have coloring pages anymore and when we arrived he realized he had left his coloring at home and he was devastated. So I was so relieved when the hostess came back with a couple of coloring pages and crayons! We ordered drinks and appetizers. Our appetizers were the truffle fries (excellent) and the bread. I didn't have any of the bread but those who ate it loved it. I really wanted the avocado chicken salad (I've had it before at a different location out of state) but I noticed that it was no longer on the dinner menu. However, when I asked they said they could still make it. I was very grateful for that! Everyone enjoyed their food. Hubs ordered the bolognese pasta. We have been to the one in Coronado and had fantastic food there. The only item we reordered here was the guacamole. I will say all of the appetizers, to me, were extremely salty. The tortilla soup, was beef broth with 2 small pieces of chicken, with a couple of cheese curds melted and thrown in top, and a few tortilla chips. It was not what I was hoping for at all. It was not a tortilla soup by any stretch of the imagination. It was like a wanna be french onion soup with a tiny bit of chicken and tortilla chips. So odd. The Bolognese Pasta, was the best item that we ordered. After, we ordered coffee drinks at the coffee bar, and I also got a macaron. My coffee was good. I didn't like what my husband ordered. The Henry Arcadia has become my go-to place for morning business meetings. The environment, experience and hospitality are elite. The light touch of seat yourself and order at the coffee bar is perfect to grab a table and rotate meetings for a couple hours, but the staff is there when you need them with a smile and thoughtful attention. The coffee bar team is always working so hard to crank out orders and somehow manage to chat with regulars at the same time. I have come here a few times to work as they have a great work space. Each time I come I get a coffee. Today I pick up my coffee and it feels half empty so when I take the lid off this is how much space was in my cup that they didn't fill up, I haven't even taken A sip yet. This was $7.33 with tax. Right from the start, the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about how to support us. We opted for a preset menu and reserved the room for four hours. When we arrived, everything looked amazing! We all enjoyed each other's company with the Henry team consistently taking drink orders in the background. The appetizers came out and there were very good. The menu was a variety of choices of a couple sandwiches, salads, and a beautiful harvest bowl. I opted for the harvest bowl with salmon and it was delicious. Everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food was impeccable and it is obvious that they take pride in their work. Every detail was considered and our visit was top notch. Even though I was here for lunch, I noticed a luxurious array of pastries behind a case and could tell that this would be a wonderful brunch or coffee spot as well. I guess I need to come back to try it all later! The salad that I ordered was delicious and left me feeling satisfied but not stuffed. Very nice restaurant/cafe, perfect for dinner or brunch. We went for Sunday brunch and say outside, it was ideal for perfect weather. They have a nice food and drink menu. I got 2 IPAs I hadn't had, and then an egg sandwich. No frills, but a good portion and tasty and not expensive. Inside the decor is nice, and if you don't want to sit down for a full meal, you can just go to the cafe part and get coffee to go. Servers were all nice, and good service. The food is served fast, and the staff are friendly. The bacon is outstanding!!! Many people get coffee, juices and carry out options during the morning. Parking is a bit of a challenge, unless you use the complimentary valet. They offer several gluten free options, too. read more

This was my first time to dine here. We sat on the patio since the wait was shorter. Thankfully it had been a cloudy day and the patio had misters that made things comfortable and cool. (Mid August) They weren't wet either, like some places. I've always been happy with Fox Concept Restaurants. I've dined at several of their brands. I especially like this place the best. The food was outstanding. Everything we ordered was timely, well presented, spaced well between courses and very tasty. Very impressive. In fact, our appetizer, coconut shrimp, took longer than they wanted, which we didn't notice a bad delay, and the manager delivered complimentary short rib potstickers. They were both delicious! Our entrees were just as satisfying. The manager and servers were very pleasant and efficient. The restroom was clean. The inside seating was nicely spaced. I would advise to go early or make a reservation. It is a very popular and busy place. I will definitely be there again. I saw a lot on the menu that I'd like to try. read more

The service was pretty good once we were seated (though there was a ~15 minute wait to be seated on the patio because they were switching over to dinner service). It was also really pleasant to be outside -- not too hot or too cold with the heat lamps. Less positive things: the burgers, one ordered medium and the other medium-well, were both well done. The fries were wayyyy overcooked -- hard and dark brown, without any fluffy potato inside. Not really acceptable for $19. The salad I ordered was supposed to have egg and definitely didn't. Lovely experience at the Henry!! This scratch kitchen has a large menu, coffee shop, and eclectic indoor/outdoor seating. We ordered guacamole + chips to start, which was great. The addition of pumpkin seeds was healthy and tasty! For my entree I ordered the harvest bowl. It is the epitome of gut healthy ingredients, and a perfectly filling meal. My Mom ordered the chicken sandwich, no bun, and she loved it as well. Definitely try the Henry next time you're in the area. I can't wait to visit again! read more

This used to be my favorite spot! But I think I did what you are not supposed to do. I held this restaurant to a high esteem, so my expectations were great. It was my go to every time I come in town. Today it let me down. The food seems saltier, less flavorful and just overall not the same experience. Don't get me wrong. It is still a place that you MUST try at least once! The ambience, the vibe, the staff, everything about it is great when it comes to that, but I think it has run its course with me. Today I had the fish tacos which had little to no flavor. However, the corn that came with it was delicious. My lunch guest had the turkey club which was OK not great the french fries tasted a little greasy and my other guest had the Bolognese, which was too salty. I did have a great cocktail, the blackberry ginger margarita it was amazing but then I ordered a Mojito which fell completely flat. I don't know what it was, but it was not good at all. All in all it was an OK dining experience but sad to see my number one restaurant in the Scottsdale area fall from its high post. read more

Had a friend take me out to a late birthday dinner at the Henry and I left with the biggest smile on my face. We started off with a fan favorite of the crispy rice with spicy tuna on top- (which I could eat 15 of in once sitting) For my entree I had the braised short rib and it was nothing short of fantastic. The contrasting flavors of sweetness from the caramelized onions and glaze on the short rib with the tangy-ness of the blue cheese crumbles that were sprinkled around was finger lickin' good! Highly,HIGHLY recommend. Lastly, I have to applaud the service at the Henry. We were the last table sitting outside and the bakery section was closed already, but our waitress convinced the cooks to last minute whip up the croissant bread pudding for me.
