I enjoyed trying their small beef gyro platter with pita bread, white sauce and red sauce. The beef gyro meat is well-seasoned, and the red sauce is very spicy and flavorful. My favorite item on their menu is the baklava cheesecake, which is cheesecake topped with baklava crust. I was a disappointed because the tables and floors were a bit dirty at this location and not super clean, and we saw a few bugs crawling on the ground. I chose a regular platter with spicy barbecue chicken and it was so good and just a right amount of heat. I added bell pepper and onion to the plate and a scoop of spicy hummus with the white sauce and one line of spicy sauce. I normally go for more spice lines but since the spicy chicken was spicy enough, I was good. Definitely have had better combination over rice plates elsewhere. The rice is bland. Sucks the only sides they provide are lettuce, tomatoes, onions and sweet peppers. Their meats have decent flavor, I prefer the lamb over the chicken. Their red sauce is actually pretty spicy, so that's one win. Ordered delivery from here twice already and it's been spot on every time. Portion is extremely generous and it usually takes me two seatings to finish one regular bowl. Ordered a regular platter on delivery and it arrived with an insulting amount of protein. It was less than what a small platter would have been in store. The amount was so tiny that it's infuriating and unacceptable. It's not even enough for a sufficient meal. This place is brand new, on cinco ranch blvd. The food is absolutely amazing, along with the service and speed. I get the regular combo platter, with a big bed of lettuce, I skip the tomatoes, big portion of rice spread out over the lettuce. Then combo, which is both beef and chicken. Extra onions, bell peppers, white sauce, and then literally cover the top with that hot sauce. SO GOOD. This halal guys location is my favorite, and is worth the visit!! Not a great experience. There was deteriorating lettuce in my bowl with the slimy brown ooze. The rice kept hurting my teeth because it was not fully cooked in places. I also came here for the flavored lemonades but their machines weren't working so no lemonade for me. I wanted half falafel half beef combo but their menu does not list that as a combo option so I got falafel on the side for extra cost. When I pay and take my food I ask if the falafel is in there. They completely forgot and did not even have it on my bill even though it was in the fryer. Then I found out I could have done a beef falafel combo which made me mad.
