Perhaps I'm misremembering, but I feel Dimassi's buffet options are being reduced, the rotations of meat options are becoming constant, and the quality of dishes are diminishing. I used to really enjoy coming here, but each time I leave less satisfied than the previous time. I have consistently enjoyed their salad/cold bar. The ambiance is pretty bland, but clean. read more

Genuinely confused by the reviews and ratings for this place. I went there for dinner yesterday for the first time. Everything was bland and cold. The crispy cauliflower was mushy. Falafel was hard as a rock. I'll absolutely never go back. There's too many good options around. read more

Clean place, but very poor service. We went as a family of 3 to celebrate my wife's birthday, all paying full buffet price ($23.99 + tax + tip each). When we asked for lamb shanks, the female manager refused to give one per person (even though the sign said each person gets one) and only allowed 2 total, very uncomfortable experience. It got worse when two large buses (100+ people) showed up without any warning. The place became overcrowded quickly, and we left without getting more food but still paid full price + tip. Very disappointing overall. Won't be going back after such a terrible experience. read more

This place is a great option if you have never tried Mediterranean food, as they have many different options to choose from. The food here is amazing and such good quality especially for a Buffett and includes dessert as well. While the price can range from 20-27 dollars per person depending on the time and day you go (weekend nights being most expensive), I do think that it is very reasonable for the quantity and quality. The restaurant itself is also very nice with many seating options and a comfortable vibe. 5/5 would recommend! read more

Twas a first time coming to this buffet restaurant! My friends were always talking about this place and I was finally able to make it!! Foods were fresh and delicious in my tongue I got 3 big plates and one small plate with 2 soup cups of foods I finished them up completely! Keep up the good work! The vibe of this restaurant is good and clean! Cheers read more

That food is great and so is the staff and surrounding area!!! And it's not in a ghetto spot!

Food was unfortunately not great. It was very dry and not fresh tasting. My chicken kabobs were so dry you had to take a sip of your drink or else you might choke on it going down... I bit into a meatball and it was pink and cold. I was very disappointed eating here this time of round. read more

First visit, remarkable experience. Nice rose water to clean the palate for deserts! Note: Heavy-handed with the lemon juice in the taboulé and cauliflower and over fried falafel, but helps with dipping in the great hummus. Otherwise, excellent flavors and worthy of the trip. Highly recommend, especially for vegans and vegetarians alike! read more

Hello, my name is Ashley . Let's get to the review. My friend decided to take me to an early birthday dinner at this location and we went after 4 PM so the price was $25 and it does say that if you leave a lot of food on the plate they will charge you for it. We filled our plates with mostly salads and hummus and chicken and beef. Personally, I wasn't really wowed by anything. The meat was not very hot and needed to be microwaved and like I said the flavor just really wasn't there. We were more concerned with trying to finish our plates so we wouldn't get charged extra. Lol. Yes the buffet looks pretty but I've had better buffet food that had a hotter temperature than this one. This is not worth $25. I won't be going back. read more

I have been to Dimasis very often and this would be the last time I eat here because the guy with the black shirt who picks up the dishes has an unpleasant smell that made me stop eating. please that is unacceptable for the hygiene of the restaurant and if they're like that I can't imagine inside of the kitchen read more

Nicest people own/work at this Dimassi's. We've been there several times and can attest to their delicious food. I love the lamb shanks, fried chicken, salads and desserts!! Beyond their great food, their kindness to my friend's wheelchair bound daughter is quiet and unassuming but so much appreciated. Makes me tear up knowing folks are still so kind in such an unkind time in our country. Thank you Dimassi's!!! read more

The food at Dimassi's was so fresh and clean. The fried chicken? Never judge a book by its cover. All the meat there was so juicy and full of flavor. The hummus bar was delicious lol... tamarind juice was also great , and the falafel dipped in the yogurt ; hmm hmm hmmm. I felt like I was in a comfort of eating. Rana was super great and her effort of making sure everything is put together was amazing. read more

Absolutely horrid food...In addition i was charged 28.99 to eat at the buffet ..bad food and high end prices.. never going back!

Okay, I went to two different locations, and the food was good at both locations. Also, each place is very calming and has a type of relaxed atmosphere with white and gray decor. The hosts were really nice, guiding you to hop right into the buffet line. I thought we had to be seated first and ordered drinks. I really like Dimassi's setup better than the whole sit-at-the-table waiting for someone to come along. The first location is near Katy, and the second is in North Houston. Now, I would say the baked chicken at the first location is a bit better because of the seasoning. Other than that, the food is good at both spots, and I like all the different selections of meats, veggies, soups, and salads. I had both soups, and I enjoyed each one; one was a light lentil soup, and the other was a hearty soup. The veggie selection was superb; I like the Veggie Grape Leave way too much and the different flavors of rice, too, especially the Rice with Vermicelli and Rice with Dill Weed. The Eggplant and Italian Green Beans are a favorite, too. It was the tomato-based which gave such a unique taste to those dishes. Oh, the Falafel and Zatar, indeed, were a favorite. Now, the meats, the Kafta Kabob, meatballs, and lamb shank were so good, along with the baked chicken. What I liked about the baked chicken was that there was a thin piece of crust on the edges, and the meat inside was very tender, almost falling off the bones. The marinated chicken was good, too; it was nice and crispy! Side note: you won't be embarrassed if your dishes stack up because they quickly move them off the table. I'll take more pictures next time, but this time I got caught up in eating. They even have a nice cheese and pepperoni pizza and dessert! read more

The lowest grade Mediterranean food I have seen or had. I guess you can't expect much from an "all you can eat" place. You get what you pay for it's more quantity than quality. read more

Dimassi's hit the spot!! Super easy to order online for catering and they delivered hot at time requested. Not pictured was the dill rice. The favorite out of everything...the fried chicken!!! All the guys had 3 legs each!! LOL! You can order by the person/item for most things. I didn't order hummus/pita from them because I wanted a variety of flavors so HEB helped me out for that! Tab including delivery, tip, tax was around $225 for those interested, for 8 adults. Sent everyone home with a to go box!! read more

Good food. Lots to choose from. The food always tastes really good. It's fresh. Buffet style. Serve yourself.

Very disappointing experience. We arrived and put our name on the waiting list. After waiting for 20 minutes, we saw the hostess give a table to another family who came after us. When we politely mentioned that we were here first, she very rudely told us to either wait longer or leave. Her exact words were: "There's the door." That's not how you treat customers. Terrible customer service -- we won't be coming back. read more

Falafel wrap was awful!! Half cooked falafels...extremely dry: no sauce! breading that was so thin it could not hold the contents. The lentil soup was salty. Very disappointing. This location can never compare to Dimassi's Westheimer-Wilcrest which is always 5 stars! This is not the 1st disappointing visit to this location but it will be the last. 1 star is for the cashier who is pleasant. read more

Wow - Delicious! The selections were many. Lots of salads and meats! 5 kinds of chicken, drinks included and I got a to-go plate for a friend at home. Everything was spiced perfectly. The pita bread was fresh and hot! And they had mounds of fresh babaghanoush (my favorite)! Balaclava and other pastries and fresh fruit for dessert! I'm from LA, and I just saw they have a restaurant in Cerritos, CA - Where i'll be as soon as I return home! read more

Zero stars if it were only possible. First time and it was a terrible experience . Hot foods weren't even slightly warm. Service was terrible as well. No one came around to pick up dirty or finished plates to remove them off the table. We literally had plates stacked up, still no one came by. Will never return. read more

We ate there on Sunday afternoon, Food poisoned the next day at work! Didn't eat anything since we left! Not fun at all.

Craving gyro meat, I decided to pay a visit to this buffet for the first time. Upon walking in, I was told to go ahead and eat; payment is done afterwards. Everything was clean, and there are many food options. Hand sanitizer and gloves are available for those who are concerned about spreading germs. Gyro meat is available upon request but is not out on display. I am no Mediterranean food expert by any means, but I thought it tasted very good. The grilled chicken was perfect. Moist and flavorful. I will be coming back once I have another craving. read more

I am really upset about the service and how the client was treated. This used to be my favorite location. I brought my parents and family expecting to enjoy lunchtime. We were not informed that the toilet was out of order and there was no water to wash our hands. Additionally, there was no hot water available for tea, which we love and used to enjoy here. We had to leave urgently because my kids needed to use the restroom, and we couldn't complete our meal and enjoy a lunch. Despite this, we were charged in full for the service provided. The front desk was a bit rude when I mentioned my disappointment. Bottom line, we won't be coming back to this buffet and don't recommend it. Another point to mention is how they are working in these conditions and providing clean service. How are the service people washing their hands and disposing of waste if the plumbing is out of order? Is this even allowed by sanitary authorities? read more

News Flash! If you haven't been here yet, you need to go! My family wanted some fresh non greasy food for lunch and we came across Dimassi's buffet. We loved ALL the food here, the hummus, pita bread, lentil soup, different chicken dishes, pasta salads, green salads, tabouli, etc and so on. There was so much!!!! We were overwhelmed with all the choices. The coffee was so strong and tasty too! The restaurant is very very clean and disposable gloves are to be worn when getting the food; also masks are to be worn. You can't go wrong here! read more

It's been about a year since I visited. Food on the buffet looked appetizing at 7pm. Despite it being the end of day, 2 hours from closing, the staff made sure all the trays were presentable. Every item I picked was delicious, perfectly seasoned, and tasted fresh like they just made it. I especially loved the 4 choices of hummus. At an a-la-cart restaurant, I can only choose one big order. Here, I can eat all the different flavors of hummus all I want. My husband and I have been coming here since 2018 and the food is consistently outstanding for the price. The dining area is spacious with options of a small table to one long table so sometimes we come alone and other times with friends or family. Fabulous place. read more
