I love this kind of restaurant because there's no waiting for a check and you can refill your own water whenever you want more. I got the BBQ pork sliders which were phenomenal, and paired with incredible sweet potato fries (which don't cost more!) My partner got the buttermilk chicken sliders which were good too, and the fries were like a cross between chips and fries. The AC was great inside. The outdoor seating was so nice and right on the water. There's room for kids to run around so even though it's a beer place it strikes me as great for kids and families. We will be back! read more

This is such a fun place to visit on a nice day! I love Warren and this is a great addition to the town. It's dog-friendly on the patio out back which is great news for me. The Guild has an amazing beer hall and brewery on the water in Warren. Walk in and pick a table, we suggest near the windows inside if you're visiting during cold weather, or outside if it's a day to enjoy the fresh air. The vibe is very laid back. Grab your drinks at the bar, and your food at the food bar- let them know your table number and go sit back and they will bring your food to you. For drinks they have local craft beer & seltzer. Our party had the Apple Pie Seltzer, which I highly recommend, and some IPA's, which I'm told were very good We all split some flatbread pizzas and buffalo chicken dip. The lobster roll was surprisingly delicious! I was not excepting such a great lobster roll at a brewery! The lobster roll comes in a classic toasted brioche roll with remoulade sauce. They give you a generous amount of lobster meat, which is fresh and tender. As you can see in my picture they do give you a full claw! Last night I took my husband to the Guild in Warren for a relaxing sunset dinner overlooking the water. The restaurant is inside an apartment complex with lots of parking and places to walk. As we walked in, we saw the note saying, grab your own seat and then order at the counter. We got a nice table outside on the terrace overlooking the water and I went inside to order. We got a couple of IPAs, a charcuterie plate and a salad. The beers came within a few minutes and the food shortly thereafter. The food was very good. The Guild has a beautiful view and great food! A unique establishment. We were there last Friday 5/15. I am writing to make others aware of what my family and I went through so it doesn't happen to someone else. I had not ever been to The Guild but it had great reviews so I called months before my daughter's college graduation and said I had a large party and could I reserve a table. They said yes, absolutely, no worries. At that point, I thought maybe 25 people. It went down to 20, made them aware and ultimately it was 18, made them aware. I confirmed the reservation a week before. I also received an email from them. And I spoke with them that day. When I arrived, there were three tables put aside for us. I asked if they could please push the tables together so we could all sit together.... Parents, Grandparents and aunts and cousins etc. They said no, they do not push tables together. I told them I was very disappointed and that it would mean a lot to us to all sit together. The manager behind the bar said absolutely, not it won't work, we don't do that. Clearly, It absolutely would have worked. They were rectangle tables along the water projecting outward. It was a no-brainer that if we turned them the other way along that window that there would be even more room for people to be walking by. They would not accommodate us. It was very disappointing because it was my daughter's college graduation. My whole family was there and her boyfriend's whole family was there and I would've never thought when I made the reservation that we wouldn't be sitting together.??? Who would think that I would need to ask that?? Overall, though, we enjoyed the food and the view. read more

A place we frequent , so I don't know why I never reviewed ! This is a beautiful spot to begin with. So pretty outside. They have a ton of great beers on tap , as well as some ciders and seltzers. There is something for everyone. The highlight in my opinion is the food. We have eaten here quite a bit and have never had anything we didn't love. Then we got nachos. Oh my god. These were the best nachos I've had in my life. One caveat .. they are huge. Hubs and I split them and had plenty left. They were loaded with beans , beer cheese , regular cheese , delicious pico , and some amazing lime crema. I will be back back again for those nachos. We sat at the bar and they did a great job making sure our drinks were full and food Delcious. They have a separate area also for rental space , i think it's a great spot to have an event. Came in for dinner and trivia with friends. The trivia was fun, the food was tasty, the beer list wasn't my style so much. The view was beautiful especially at sunset. We sat at the tables and there is no service so you order from the food window and they bring it out to you based on table numbers. The layout for trivia was really nice. Came here for the first time, and it was good. The beer was good, I tried a stout and I enjoyed it a lot! The falafel sliders and French fries were delicious. The fried cauliflower was a bit lacking, but I did enjoy the tofu that came with it. My husband tried the pot pie and the nachos. He said the pot pie was just okay, the nachos were good but super filling. When we first arrived it wasn't busy, and we were happy to grab a table with no one around. It quickly filled up with families with kids, and while I don't mind kids, the table near us had a child who threw their water glass, and then their iPad three times. It kind of killed our ambiance a bit, so I'd love to come back, and especially sit outside along the water and hope for a better time! read more

I really want to love The Guild. Really, I do. Unfortunately, their beer selection is always pretty poor. They never have any IPAs besides the one dipa that's always on tap. We just had a wedding shower this weekend and couldn't have had a better experience. The coordinator, Abigail G, was wonderful and the service was perfect.! The event space is beautiful, and the food was fantastic. The whole event exceeded my expectations. The extra space outside for the dads was a big bonus! But by the time I got here - which is pretty far off my route - and found a parking space (oy vey!), it was too much hassle to move on. So I stayed and tried hard to tune it out. I would probably have stayed longer if it wasn't going on, but my lack of patronage is well outweighed by the people here - the place was packed! I had a Cobb salad for dinner and a pour of their kolsch beer. The salad was good though to call it a Cobb is a stretch. Tomato confit? Red wine vinaigrette? At least there were pieces of blue cheese in there and the roasted chicken was tasty. The beer was also delicious. They have wifi. I did not spot power outlets. The view of the east bay is spectacular and I'd have sat outside except mosquitoes believe that I'm delicious. Much like this beer. Awesome brewpub in Warren. The place was pretty packed on a Saturday afternoon. They have a very good selection of different beers. The location behind the Tourister mill apartments in Warren. Got the handline/kolsch beer which was light and refreshing. Also got the pretzel and pulled pork sliders. The pretzel was good though the spicy mustard and cheese were Aok. Loved the pork sliders and the 1/2 and 1/2 fries. Def plenty of food. Overall great spot to grab a beer, throw a party or read a book. They have benches outside along the water and will be a great spot to drink by the water in the summer. There's a good amount of parking though it can get full quickly. read more

Delicious food, good atmosphere and tasty drinks. We arrived late afternoon and sat on the patio to enjoy a day of good weather. This is a self seating establishment with a walk up counter to order but when your food is ready, they'll bring it to your table. We ordered a couple of flights, the Bavarian style pretzel, and chicken sliders. The chicken sliders were very tasty and came with french fries . The pretzel was good as well, but it wasn't a must have or overly impressive. The service was also good and friendly. Overall, four stars out of five which is a very good rating. (Foreword: Stopped by this place for the first time ever, under the impression dogs were allowed on the property- they are, but only on the patio.) My partner and I wanted to check out the brewery for potential networking events, but unfortunately, this trip left a bad taste in our mouth, and it wasn't the beer... The service could've been better. Walked into the front door of the Guild with our pup in tow, looking for signs that confirmed what we saw online about dogs being welcome. There were none, so we went up to the bar to grab our first round before scoping out the rest of the place and were greeted by the bartender (with a VERY salty attitude)- "okay so, do you know our dog policy?" Not even 'hello how are ya' first... Us: "oh, no its our first time, but we saw online..." Him interrupting: "yeahhh, their only allowed on the patio." Well ok then. Then he asks us what we want with ZERO friendliness, to the point that when he turned his back to get our drinks we looked at each other with mouths hanging wide open as if to say "is this guy for real?" So, we quickly grabbed our drinks- some strawberry something lemonade that was DELICIOUS btw, and head out back to the patio overlooking the water. A BEAUTIFUL view, nice little setup and sunny skies made for a great backdrop for our photos, but the previous interaction had us doing 'one and done'. Our pup got lots of pets from fellow patrons, and we sucked down our lemonades and made our way back trough the bar to the front door. All in all our visit was 20 minutes from beginning to end. Beware: the pulled pork has lots of onion! 3 stars for Tuesday's trivia. Acoustics were challenging, the sound was incredibly loud. Also, not my favorite format - the scoring process is strange and the timing was lengthy in between rounds. Been here a couple of times and great addition to the neighborhood. Outdoor tables for better days and ample indoor seating. You go up to a window to order food and drinks and then they bring it to your table. Usually about a dozen beers on tap-get a flight of 4 for $10. The pretzels are among the best I've had and though the menu is limited, it is creative. The cauliflower app and chicken sliders are favorites. My only complaint is the noise level, but it's good to see a new business doing so well. read more

Honestly, with the COVID-19 still a concern for many of us, I was on the fence about going to a place that is potentially a crowded germ hole. I found that there is a big deck outside to spread out. All great news. This is the first time here and what a great find and an addition to the Warren food scene! I definitely dig this joint for the old mill turned into a cool wide open concept space, and great food. At first I was looking for someone to seat us - aka host, but there is no such thing. Everything is ordered at the food kiosk counter or at the bar, then they will give you a number, we find a place to sit and they will bring you the food and drinks! Very casual and actually cool way to dine and drink. It's almost like beeing at an indoor food-truck venue. It certainly has a similar good vibe to it. The food that we had also epic! My love and I had the charcuterie board and cob salad. The boards was esthetically very appealing and the combination of fig jam, proscuito, salami, blue cheese and smoked gouda was spot on. The cob salad was totally not what I expected, but in a good way. They added panceta like thick bacon and mixed it with their russian dressing like sauce. The salad had arugulas instead of standard issue romaine or iceberg lettuces. All delicious. All in all, 5-star for the decor and the food. We love the other Guild locations, but this is a great spot. It was hard to figure out where to park in the mill complex at first but there was ample parking one we found the right spot. The view here, both indoors and outdoors, is great. We went early on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. There was a great beer selection as well as seltzers. read more

You can chill pretty much unbothered and step up to order food or drinks whenever you are ready. they give you a number and bring food when it's ready. The Guild in Warren is every bit as good and so much better than the Guild in Pawtucket. The space is really well done with comfortable seating and great views of the river. The beer is great! Ed and team did an awesome job with the food on opening night and they were hustling. With beer, wine and soft drinks it is a great spot. They are not far off the East Bay bike path and I plan to be there quite often. What a great addition to the East Bay food scene. I can't wait until Sunday Brunch!!!! read more

Lets be clear, eat-in/drink-in breweries exist for one reason and one reason only: to serve you beer that is so terrible, bars and restaurants won't serve it. Surely you can defend this by remembering that ONE beer you liked out of the 20 being served, but we all know the rest are garbage. The Guild is no different. But to rub salt in our seaside wounds, on this hot, muggy summer day, they had no air conditioning. They also had no form of entertainment in their massive space; no table games, no sports, just Star Wars playing on a random TV. Though I guess people pushing their babies around in trams in a bar while my friends and I got drunk is somewhat entertaining on the list of things I'd never do if I had children. Worse yet, The Guild is on the water, but they completely waste this space. There are only a few small tables outside, and some oversized Adirondack chairs. I didn't have their food, and while it looked good passing by our table, I know they don't have any good beer to wash it down. read more

I really did not enjoy the guild Warren. We have been to the original guild in Pawtucket multiple times over the years, watching their space evolve. We expected a similar environment. We were highly dissatisfied. First, a couple in our party brought our dog. They figured it was dog friendly since the original guild is, we were immediately told no dogs except outside. Which is fine, but you should really make sure that's posted outside or even on your website. Anyone familiar with most local breweries would make this mistake especially since pawtucket is so dog friendly. Whatever no problem, but the way they told those members of our party was rude. And then we had a few strollers with us since we were a decently big group, and the staff was just not friendly and acted like us having kids with us was such a bother, told us to stop blocking the walk way. Which is fine, everyone needs a space to walk but again it was HOW this female employee said it. Overall the staff was just unkind. There were about 8 other groups or couples with children, not sure why they were so rude to us. On top of that the food was disappointing. The nachos, besides a tiny top layer, were all plain and dry and adding chicken was pointless since it looked like there were maybe 2 pieces. I'm honestly not sure how this is the same company as the guild pawtucket because it was just terrible. read more
