Visited for the first time last night and really liked everything about Canned Heat. This brewery is spacious, and warmly decorated with a variety of seating options - bar stools, booths, tables, and comfortable couches. We opted for bar seats and our order was quickly taken by Rebecca, who was am amazing server. She gave us just enough time to look over the large beer menu, and we were really happy with our choices of a the pumpkin beer and an IPA. We ordered the bar pizzas and they were some of the best I've ever had - crust was nice and thin, toppings were generous, and the cheese went nearly all the way to the edge. While we waited for our order, we munched on the free popcorn, which was a real treat! We will definitely be back - the atmosphere was amazing, service was great, and the food was delicious. The prices were very reasonable as well - my pint of pumpkin beer was $7, and pizzas start at $10 with additional toppings for $2 each. Would love to try the wing specials on Wednesdays, and would love to come in the summer for the outdoor seating.

We stopped by Canned Heat specifically to check out their entry in the RI Food Fights' 'Lord of the Pies' competition, and we were thoroughly impressed by both the atmosphere and the offerings! From the moment we walked in, the space felt spacious and inviting, which makes it a really comfortable spot to hang out. Even better than the setting was the service--our staff/bartender was super friendly and incredibly attentive throughout our visit. Great service definitely elevates the experience. For the main event, the Bar Pie type pizza was fantastic! We added pepperoni (highly recommend), and the crust and flavor were spot on. It totally lived up to the hype we heard about their pizza. To wash it down, the House of Horrors Double IPA was great and hit the spot perfectly. Canned Heat clearly excels in both the kitchen and the brew house. If you're in Fall River looking for delicious beer, friendly staff, and surprisingly fantastic pizza, Canned Heat is a must-visit.

Back again for the Best Pizza around. Wings are great also / when they have them. Wish they had something other than beer, I would visit more often Sound is very loud with a band playing, bring ear plugs. Seating inside and outside. Gets hot inside, no AC Bartenders are great. Beer selection is good, if you like beer.

This place has a great industrial brewery atmosphere! The beer is fantastic as well. The best part is the food. They have a FANTASTIC bar pie. Top 10 of all time! The staff is friendly and attentive. I would've included pictures of the bar pie, but I ate it too fast!

Wow!!! The craft beer line up is unbelievably good, along with a house made fruity seltzer on tap for the non beer drinkers. Went tonight to try their highly talked about bar pizza & I'll promise you, it is The BEST bar pizza in the area!! Thin, crispy & laced crust that is to die for! Jason, the beertender working on Tuesday evenings is excellent & completely knowledgeable of all they have to offer. Bonus deal on Tuesday's it is Industry Night! Free pizza with the purchase of beverage to all Restaurant Industry Workers!! Check this place out for great service, drinks, food & entertainment!!

This is such a cute hidden gem weirdly placed in a shipyard (?) but not too hard to get to. I can't believe how few places lack comfortable seating, but I was able to lounge on a couch in here and it felt like they wanted me to stay and hang out. There's also a corner of little arcade games to play, and it's dog friendly. The beer I had was great, recommended to me by the most pleasant bartender. I also had the pizza which was good but nothing to write home about. Overall great vibe and I will return

What a fun unique place. Housed near a marina it is a great place to grab a craft beer and pub style food. The pizza's and appetizers are very good and there are a bunch of beer options. The brewery has a large variety of beers to try that goes well with food. The staff is great, the atmosphere is great and all of the entertainment and special events are excellent. If you want a fun place to go this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Checked this space out for the first time and loved it! They had tickets from the Big Lebrewski for the month of March, and such a good find. There was live music, the bartender cracked us up and was so friendly. the beer was great!!!!

I've tried Canned Heat beer a few times and I love the taste of everything I've tried. The ambiance is so relaxed and fun, I've been there on nights with bands playing and it's very enjoyable! The service has always been met with kindness and fun. I can't wait to go back there soon!

Sorry Canned Heat, we tried to visit on a Saturday afternoon just after 12 noon and you weren't open! Your hours on Yelp say you open at 12 (and that's what I looked at), and your hours on FB say 1 pm. We'll give you another try next time we visit Fall River!

    Great beer and atmosphere

The taproom here is huge - acoustics can be a little tricky if they have live music, so you may want to check their events page ahead of time if you want to be able to hear your company clearly. That said, I've seen some great local artists here - everything from a 4 person DMB cover band to a solo acoustic performer with an angelic voice. A+ for putting effort into the programming! The beer list is quite long. I love their sours when they have them on top, which isn't always but a good portion of the time. Other than sours their beers are not my most favorite in the world, but still yummy with lots of variety to taste around. It's a great spot to hang out with quirky decor, high ceilings, and lots of events.

If you like thick clam chowder, this is it. For meals we opted to split the honey, hot chicken sandwich and a buffalo chicken pizza. Not gonna lie, the bowl of chowder was pretty big, and I was pretty full by the time I was done with it. The honey hot chicken sandwich is more like a honey mustard chicken. It was still pretty good, but if you are expecting hot honey, this is not it. I opted to have the blue cheese on the side with the pizza, because my husband doesn't like blue cheese. The buffalo chicken pizza was actually really delicious. It was like a bar pizza that you would get from the south shore. You really can't find this pizza in Rhode Island or in Southern MA, so this was a great find. Staff were friendly and attentive. I didn't get any alcoholic drinks cause it was pretty early and not much of a day drinker, but it had a really good vibe and I'm sure it's a lot of fun at night. The drink menu looked really good so I'll likely come back for drinks and apps. There's a cute outdoor seating area. It was pretty hot so we sat inside, but I'm sure this is a great place to sit at night time once the sun goes down and it cools off.

The vibe is cool, and they serve up some solid food alongside a great craft beer flight. The Food: Pan Seared NBMA Scallops ($24): Served with linguica, summer corn succotash, and harissa aioli. This appetizer was very fresh and exceptionally good. Beet Salad ($15): Whipped goat cheese, roasted beets, blood orange, toasted pistachios, pickled red onion, arugula, EVOO, and balsamic glaze. My wife loved this salad--it was packed with fresh flavors and textures. Lobster Truffle Grilled Cheese ($32): Made with Gruyère cheese, fresh-picked lobster meat, truffle oil, and toasted sourdough. While it tasted good, the truffle flavor was very light, and there wasn't as much lobster as I would expect for a $32 price tag. Ultimately, it was good, but not really worth the price. The Drinks: We also grabbed a four-beer flight, which came on a fun whale-tail paddle with a handy menu card: 1. Raz Sour 2. Blueberry Ale 3. Capsized IPA 4. Colonial Ale Overall, a fun spot with great starters and a cool flight setup. I'd definitely go back for the scallops and drinks, though I might skip the lobster grilled cheese next time.
