Decided to try this place and it wasn't too bad! The food was good for some and lacked for others. My grandma and sister had the French toast. They said it was good and fluffy. My sister asked for more syrup and they actually charged us $1 for the ramekin of syrup! Never been to a place that charged for more syrup! We weren't even told that it would be an extra cost. For service, the customers need to be awared. My grandma asked for soft scrabble eggs, which was cooked perfectly to her liking. I had the Nashville hot chicken and waffles with fries. The waffles was cooked a bit too long. The chicken was very juicy but was not hot at all. For Nashville hot, I expected a lot more and I was very disappointed. On the menu, it said drizzled with syrup but there wasn't really any syrup at all. If it was for the chicken being juicy, that sandwhich would of been so dry!!! Yet the fries were good! Service could of been better. Our waitress was nice but barely checked on us. When asking for syrup the first time with another waitress, she said ok but went straight to her table that was near us to take orders. So waited another 5 or so minutes until a lady (who seemed like a manager) came by and we asked again.

Woonsocket local IPA and Angels Chicken Enchalada. Stage 2

The Marriott front desk suggested Union Station Brewery, and I have to be honest - all I heard was "Brewery" and I was IN. I asked where is this Brewery? The front desk replied 1/2 a block from here. DOUBLE IN!! Had the Woonsocket local IPA and the Angel Chicken Enchiladadas. TRIFECTA!!! The chicken enchiladas were the best I've had. Tender enough to cut with your fork and firm enough to be picked up by the fork in one piece. No knife needed. The Woonsocket IPA was a solid pairing. Ate at the bar and enjoyed friendly conversation with the bar keeps. Well done Union Station, I will be back.

Union Station Brewery is your standard brew pub. Conveniently located in downtown near the current train station it is highly walkable. I appreciated the cool & unique history of the building while enjoying one of their many own brews. I did not find a food item or beer that really stood out to me but I look forward to returning & trying some other options to one day find a favorite.

Came in for a snack and drinks on a Monday afternoon. The place was nearly empty and I sat at the bar and was helped right away. It has a great patio area and a bunch of indoor seating. "Appy Hour" is 3-6 during the week. I ordered wings and a flight of their home brews. Mostly light beers with two IPA's. All were good sipping beers. The wings are really good. Much better than your typical sports bar. Definitely would recommend visiting.

Came in durringva full water fireand they were still able to seat us pretty quick! They were really good about accomodations and special requests, I added red sauce to a white pizza and it was so good. Over all quick service, yummy food, and good atmosphere.

Stopped in for afternoon munchies. Nice list of appetizers. Had chowder, meatballs, and pretzels. All were very good. Nice atmosphere and good service. From the Marriott Courtyard there is a stairway down from the parking lot to the restaurant. This makes it very convenient if you are staying at the hotel. A nice alternative to the Courtyard's bistro.

Was in town for one night, and Union Station Brewery was within walking distance to our hotel. We got spinach and artichoke dip, Mac n cheese , burger, and meatball sandwich. Food was very good except meatballs. Hard to describe, and maybe being from another state we're used to meatballs a certain way, but I suggest sticking with bar type food at Union Station.

Hadn't been here in years. Dropped in for an early dinner on a Thursday evening and decided to sit at the already busy bar. The beer menu does not include prices, and does not specify whether they are on-tap or in cans. Found out when the bill arrived the prices were over ten dollars each for canned beer. It could have been 'worth it', but it wasn't. A 'double' mixed drink was made in a short glass. It was a generous pour, and after ice was added, there was almost zero space for the mixer. So a glass of vodka. Thanks. The menu is bar food. Prices are high for the area.

Being away from home for a week, you kinda get a hankering for comfort foods. One of them is a good burger and a cold beer. I walked from my hotel to Union Station Brewery. The restaurant is deceiving from the outside, the place is huge! When I walked in after 5, the place was packed out. I was able to grab the last remaining spot at the bar. Once I sat down, the bartender sets me up with silverware. I ask him about a few of the beers on tap and I settle on a local brew. My burger comes to me pretty quickly. Nice thick patty that was cooked perfectly. Now add some thick ass steak fries? This is what I'd make at home, a nice burger on the grill with a cold beer. Try to come early and get to Union Station Brewery, great selection of beers on tap and they make a good burger.

Ask the Community - Union Station Brewery - Providence

Are there TVs outside where we could sit with our dogs to watch the World Cup? We're traveling with dogs in tow.... Thanks!

No on the outside

Is this a good place to watch a game?

I'd say, yes. There were an extensive amount of televisions; they also have a projected screen on the wall as you walk in.

It was…read morefounded by business partners Bryan Benedict, Jeff Goodno, Ben Estes, Ted Pease and Jean Lombard. Benedict left a career in IT in order to turn his craft beer hobby into a full time job. He worked as a sales rep and brand manager for a wholesaler before becoming the director of marketing and sales at Connecticut-based Beer'd Brewing Company. He dreamed of opening his own brewery, so he partnered with Goodno, who had 15+ years of experience working for breweries such as Taproot, Victory Brewing, and SOME Brewing. Estes, who had formerly worked at Proclamation Ale Company and the Guild, was hired as the head brewer. Pease and Lombard, who had experience with tax laws and other skills, were the last partners to come on board. They set up shop in a former auto body. Benedict chose the name "Moniker" to strip away the focus on brand egos and instead focus entirely on the taproom experience, the community, and the beer. The brewery became notable for their wide repertoire of beer styles, even earning praise from Hop Culture Magazine. In May 2026, Moniker purchased Ravenous Brewing in Cumberland with plans to rebrand it as "Moniker North". I recently visited Moniker Brewery while I was passing through Providence. They had been on my list for a while. The place was small and cozy but inviting with a decent amount of indoor seating. There is also patio seating outside, but it was a little too wet and chilly on the day of my visit. I pulled up a seat at the bar and looked over the draught menu. There was a nice eclectic mix of styles. I ordered a sampler flight which included "L.H. Czech Dark" (Tmavé), "Midnight Rodeo" (Dark Mexican Lager), "Blinded by Nostalgia" (IPA), "Stay Cool Drink Moniker" (Hazy Pale Ale), and "It's Called Sightseeing" (Bourbon Barrel-Aged Tripel). The latter was my favorite! Between the eclectic mix of styles and the friendly space, I really enjoyed my visit to Moniker. I look forward to when they open their new larger space.

They do have a parking lot, which is awesome, but it fills up very fast and parking in the area can be tough once the lot is full. The service is always friendly and attentive, they have really helped me make selections when I wasn't sure what to order in terms of beer. They usually let you try something if you're not sure if you're going to like it before you order which I appreciate because I can be very picky. I typically get a flight when I'm there because I like to try the different beers and I really love their Pilsner probably most of all. They do a good job with IPAs and their pumpkin beer is good, not too sweet, which is what I prefer. I think they excel the most at German style beer. I appreciate that they typically have a variety of beer as well as hard seltzers and also wine so that I can bring most friends even if they don't like beer. They also sell craft soda for those who don't drink alcohol. So there's usually something for everyone. I can't really speak on the food because I don't typically order food when I'm there, but it always smells good. Additionally, they have been known to participate in fundraisers for nonprofits and that is always an A+ in my book.

This place doesn't close until 1a so our arrival shouldn't have been annoying. The place wasn't that busy for a Saturday night, and we were treated like we arrived at the worst possible time. Our server was visibly and audibly pissy that he had to wait on our table. There were only 5 of us at first and no one in our party was drunk our rowdy. Eventually a few more folks came in, including the bride and groom. And our grumpy ass server continued to be rude. He was annoyed he had to take our drink order, annoyed we wanted to order food AND the deciding factor to leave this review was... We had ordered some pretzels, which they are known for, and were very good. We had to wait a while for him to come back to ask him for plates and utensils. He literally dropped a stack of plates in front of me, and what appeared to be every fork in the building, well beyond what we could have possibly needed and said "this is everything we have" with the nastiest attitude. It was so excessive and so over the top that we were speechless. His attitude did not match anything happening in that building. We all have bad days but if you want people to come into your establishment throwing forks down like a toddler is not the way to get repeat business. Hands down one of the shittiest experiences I've had in a long while. If you are looking for any sense of customer service - go somewhere else. Unless, of course, a borderline abusive server is your jam - then you're in luck!
