We stumbled on this brewery one afternoon. Providence Brewing Co is a different type of beer hall. They have an industrial taproom that is open to the public with every aspect of their process on display. You can see the brewing tanks, talk to the brewers, and enjoy food and music from local artists. The brewers take a collaborative approach to brewing, which leads to a constantly rotating selection of beers. During this visit, we found a variety of beers ranging from tart to sweet, from citrus to flowery, from coffee notes to crisp, clean hops. The seating area was ample with tables and chairs or comfy couches to sit. That Friday night, we enjoyed some live music starting at 7pm. Check it out....it was a nice cozy experience.

Efren, the owner, is so gracious and humble. He was pouring the early Friday when we came in. They released O My Soul tonight which is why we came in. A great big stout on nitro. They have a sour, a few IPAs, a pale ale or two and a stout. Park in the lot and wander downstairs to find the brewery. Opposite end of the plaza from the gym. Lots of bar stools and standing room. Dog friendly too. Excited to watch this place blossom!

Used my handy dandy Yelp app to see what was in the area as far as newer bars we may not have been to, before we went to see a movie. I saw Providence Brewing Company pop up and couldn't believe it was right under our noses in that old Bally's plaza on Mineral Spring. Now it's totally hidden in the lower level and can only be spotted by the sliver of lights you see adorning their ceiling but I think with its size being so small that's probably a good thing. It was great, there were about just under a dozen people there including us, and a staff member. There aren't that many seats but there's some room to stand and the woman mentioned they have corn hole they set up right outside where there were a couple more tables -outside meaning inside the building that has no doors (weird but you will see what I mean). The beers were great! My favorite was the Saturday Night on Saturn. Although I think my husband and i May have confused a couple in the beginning as they all have pretty much the same color and consistency but the flavors differ. They are strong beers too (8% and up) so brave yourselves as there's no food sold there (with the exception of Utz chips). But all in all, I'm very happy about this craft/local brewery beer movement that's been happening this last decade because it brings you places like this!

Three of us and my pup came by on a Saturday night. Sadly we were the only three there. I really hope they start getting more business because they are located down the road from my house! The beers were fresh and tasty, 3 to chose from at the time. They are dog friendly so that adds much more appeal! Can't wait to see what else they have up their sleeve.

Cool small craft beer brewery. A little hard to find, the brewery is located under a tuxedo shop in the 1920 Mineral Spring Avenue plaza in North Providence. The brewery is small batch and strives to keep things interesting with a variety of beer. Sours, IPA, APA, Stout, Porters, etc. Pretty good ratings on Untappd as well. https://untappd.com/mypvdbc Check 'em out!

Stopped in over the weekend with my daughter, we really enjoyed the beer selection. Love that they had movies on but it was a little hard to get the staffs attention with everyone enjoying Caddyshack, but who can blame them, really. It's located in the Planet Fitness plaza, closer to the McDonald's side, on the lower level. A bit hidden as I've driven through a couple times looking for it and missed it. A true hidden gem. There was some food available from a local food truck (I think) which looked great but we'd just eaten. Sounds like it's a regular occurrence. Decent prices, good beer and dog-friendly. Ding ding ding!

I do wish there were some lower chairs instead of all tall stools or the back nook - yaknow, for us short / awkward people. The outdoor areas out front or in back are dreamy in the warm weather, when they also open the garage door and let the warm air flow through (I once got pretty bit up in the back area outside though, so pro tip: wear pants or bug spray). Dogs are welcome here and I love to see the furry cuties visit. They offer multiple types of dog treats for four legged customers, which is such a thoughtful touch! The beer is focused on authentic, European lager / pilsner styles and doesn't switch up very often. Their beers are not very sweet, but they usually offer multiple types of pilsners and lagers at any given moment. The styles they specialize in are not my most favorite, which is my only reason for removing a star, but take a look at the menu - if those styles are your jam, they seem to be pretty authentic and you will probably love them. I usually go for the Pink Lemonade Seltzer and it's great and very fizzy. I went today as part of The Big Lebrewsky and they offered a "tasting," which to my delight consisted of a flight of 3 - very generous! I got the Coffee Stout (very strong), Irish Red (smoother and I enjoyed more than I thought- a solid choice!), and the Czech Pilsner (very light and goes down smoothly/easily). I loved this opportunity to branch out to some styles I don't always go for when I'm here. Special shout out to mascot Stella who always makes my day when she makes an appearance. It's usually easy to find street parking here, although the street has a decent amount of potholes, so keep an open eye lol. A cozy, fun place in a relaxed part of Providence just off the highway that's easy to access - great for an afternoon weekend or casual date night.

My sister asked for more syrup and they actually charged us $1 for the ramekin of syrup! Never been to a place that charged for more syrup! We weren't even told that it would be an extra cost. For service, the customers need to be awared. My grandma asked for soft scrabble eggs, which was cooked perfectly to her liking. I had the Nashville hot chicken and waffles with fries. The waffles was cooked a bit too long. The chicken was very juicy but was not hot at all. For Nashville hot, I expected a lot more and I was very disappointed. On the menu, it said drizzled with syrup but there wasn't really any syrup at all. If it was for the chicken being juicy, that sandwhich would of been so dry!!! Yet the fries were good! Service could of been better. Our waitress was nice but barely checked on us. So waited another 5 or so minutes until a lady (who seemed like a manager) came by and we asked again.
