I've got to say this brewery has to be one of the most beautiful in terms of space, landscaping, & old-school aesthetics. Originally an old dairy farm, this converted brewery/winery was a pleasure, especially in the beauty of NE fall! They had about 6 or 7 solid beers on tap, as well as couple nice wine options. Staff, as well as the locals, were very friendly and engaging! I'll be back for sure.

This brewery is close to my house which makes it convenient, but even if it wasn't it would be worth it to make a special stop for afternoon or evening. They offer a few of their beers on tap, their hard cider on tap and also offer wine. Most weekends there is a food truck parked on property and music for entertainment. They have corn hole and Adirondack chairs. Lots of space to spread out. In the summer the chairs and picnic tables get scooped up so if you have your own chair or blanket may be a good idea.

Beautiful area. Outdoor and indoor seating. Chairs from home welcome! Beer and wine delicious. Food truck on site. Dogs welcome and even have a water station. Fun to chill with friends and families, kids running around, cornhole boards out. I'd you stay until dusk you can admire the deer over the hills. Cool spot. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I had a great time at this brewery. We went on a Saturday and they had 4 beers available. We opted for the Buzzard's Bay IPA which was delicious, even after getting close to room temp--which is rare. We also sampled a malt and a pale ale. The malt was delicious and the ale was meh. Wish they had more options available but it was such a fun time it's hard to complain. They had a mobile farm stand, live music, and the Fancheezical food truck on site. There was also a stand selling oysters and another making what appeared to be hot dogs and hamburgers. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and both spaces are beautiful. People of all ages were hanging out. Kids running in the fields, adults hanging out. Great, welcoming atmosphere. We brought our 5 month old daughter and some deli sandwiches and it was lovely to hang out and feel comfortable with other parents and babies of the same age. As new parents, going out can be overwhelming and unwelcoming. So although other people complain about kids being in places they like to go, it's great to have a place for us. The bathroom situation is a little odd but it's surprisingly efficient. It's a trailer and I can only speak for the women's side but it was very clean. They even had pads and tampons and deodorant/sprays available on the counter tee. It's like a fancy portable toilet and there are 3 stalls inside. I know that sounds gross but it really was not. It was warm out and there was not a bad smell or anything like that. The trailer has running sinks with soap and water and paper towels. Way more sanitary than it sounds. We will be back all summer.

    Beer Flight

We did the "flight" which consisted of 4 samplers. They all were good. They also had a food truck the Fancheezical. Had the grilled cheese with brisket and pickles. Great taste. Would definitely go back in the summer when they have live bands playing in the field.

I came here for the first time this evening, and am so glad I did! I've heard about this place from other friends and have been wanting to come by. I finally did. When you pull up, you see so much land and greenery, it's so beautiful and peaceful. It's quiet and nice. I walked into the brewery and it's very rustic and woodsy inside. I tried a flight, which was incredibly affordable! I had never tried any Buzzard Bay beers, so I knew a flight was for me. My flight had: The Golden Flounder, Moby D, Horseneck IPA and Buzzards Bay IPA. All lighter beers. Now, personally I'm a dark ale kind of girl. I haven't found a lighter drink or IPA I really like. However, I loved the Golden Flounder and Buzzards Bay! I loved the golden so much, I bought a full pint and some to take home. That's saying a lot! I highly recommend it! The grounds are so nice, there are yard games to play and lots of outdoor seating. Which was perfect for this gorgeous summer day. It was Taco Tuesday, so they have a food truck serving tacos! Apparently they always have a good truck, which is pretty cool. The company was Fancheezical. Since they're a separate company, I will leave a separate review for them. However, I loved my tacos! I highly recommend this place for a nice summer evening out and to try and support a local brewery.

Drive thru Craft Beer. What a brilliant idea. At $15 a case it's the fiscally responsible way to Drink Locally as well. My best friend from High School lives ten minutes away. I follow them on Twitter and when they have something of interest I have him pick some up. When I'm visiting this is an obligatory stop. It almost feels like Prohibition times as you make your way up the long driveway and honk your horn. Dude comes out and asks "Whaddya want?". You order "Trattoria Style" from the chalkboard. Don't ask for anything that isn't on the beer chalkboard. They make a variety of excellent beers/ales. If they have a "special" try it, don't just stick with the seasonal favorites. This trip they had an overstock of Cranberry Saison, made for a Beer Club. A traditional Saison in color, cloudiness and taste with a muted Cranberry finish. My only regret was that we bought one case. The other purchase was a Golden IPA, soothing rich flavor and not medicinally hopped likes some IPAs. * beer/ale may be cold or not. * cash only * best beer value for your buck in New England possibly the Country!

Exceptionally excellent local beers. No tours, only open a couple of afternoons (more in the summer). Growler refills are the way to go!

The browning was more even than what we got at the Toboggan. But pick up a slice from either place blindfolded and you wouldn't know which was which. They're calling it South Shore bar pizza here. I'm not sure it earns that. Bar pizza has rules. Ten-inch pan. Cheddar cheese blend. Cracker crust that's crunchy and sturdy when you pick it up. Laced edges where the sauce and cheese hit the pan and caramelize into something crispy and almost burnt. It's a blue-collar thing born in Brockton dive bars, and the good ones have been using the same blackened pans for 40 years. This had the size right. The edges looked the part. But the crust didn't snap. It wilted. And that's the whole point of the style. Look, none of this means skip this place. It's a brewery that offers pizza. The beverage list itself is worth the trip. Big industrial room, string lights, that warm amber glow you want when you're drinking good beer on a cold night. The people working there were friendly. The customers were even more friendly. Everyone seemed happy to be exactly where they were, which counts for a lot in my book. Go for the beer. Stay for the vibes. The pizza's there if you need it.

It had giant comfy couches, tall ceilings, and beautiful, upscale decor that made this feel like a glamorous experience. Our server was extremely personable and knowledgeable, what a delight! He answered our tons of questions and had great wine recommendations for my friend. We got conflicting information from the hostess vs the server on whether food was available and what time they closed, which seemed a little odd. Ultimately I was able to order off the abbreviated trivia food menu, and really enjoyed the Winter Vegetable Flatbread with sweet potato, Swiss chard, kale, and gruyere - very unique recipe with lots of distinct flavors that came together beautifully! The crust was soft and I dipped it in some beer cheese that came with my friend's pretzel (the cheese seemed a little watery to me but had a distinct beer flavor, so bonus points for actually being a beer cheese!) I couldn't tell if a couple of my beers got rearranged on my flight board, so wasn't sure which I liked and didn't. One was smokier than I would have thought it would be but had a sweet taste. The Boch was a bit bitter for my taste. I really enjoyed the White Stout most of all to my surprise - normally a heavier beer is just okay and not the favorite of my taste buds, but this one was so unique in style and crispiness. The beers all seemed very European leaning and authentic in flavor, although a bit on the heavier / less sweet side (fitting for the colder weather but not my personal favorite). The trivia host seemed to have a lot of regulars and the volume wasn't overbearing, I'll have to check it out again and actually play next time.
