We ate here two weeks ago on a weekday so was not too busy. I had the French Toast and my wife had the quiche. The French toast came with two eggs and some bacon and was very good. Had a great experience today! Came at 7am, right as they opened. John A welcomed me in and was my server. He was very friendly and attentive. Ordered the stuffed French toast with huckleberries. Texas toast was used for the French toast and cream cheese and huckleberries spread between the two slices of bread. Ordered a latte and they use quality expresso beans. Always thrilled when a breakfast spot has the full espresso menu (and not just coffee). Everything was delicious. Inside is nicely decorated. I think this is a chain but they don't have any locations where I live in Seattle, which is too bad because this is a good breakfast spot!!! read more

We both had a breakfast special the first time we came. Mine was Eggs Benedict on a croissant. It was delicious. The breve was also excellent and the service was exceptional. At the time of our first visit, we were starting out on a 2 week vacation and had just flown into the Boise Airport the day before. It's been a while since I have been to this Griddle location but we sure did have such a great experience there today. A couple of my friends and I met for breakfast today. It wasn't super busy so I grabbed a table. A server cane, dropped off menus and grabbed my drink order. She got me all squared away and Leah took care of me till my friend is showed up. After everyone got settled and looked over the menu, we worked on our fresh orange juice and coffee. The Griddle will always have the best Oj in town. It's hard not to suck down the whole cup in one gulp. The coffee was hot and fresh. For breakfast I got 2 eggs and bacon. The eggs were fried nicely. My hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, my favorite. I got 3 slices of bacon that was crispy and salty. I also got a side of country gravy for my hashbrowns. I like that their gravy isn't so thick, it had a great consistency to it. Everything was delicious! Leah did a great job taking care of us. My third friend was running late but Leah checked up on us. Had our coffee cups filled and took our empty plates away to give us more space. I will have to say, this location has the best staff. Very disappointing experience at The Griddle on Parkcenter. We were initially told the wait would be about 30 minutes, which was reasonable. However, after waiting 50 minutes, we checked on our status and received little information or concern from the staff. What stood out most was the lack of customer service. Several staff members were sitting at the counter, and when we approached to ask where we were on the wait list, they seemed dismissive and uninterested in helping. A simple update or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. To make matters worse, the booth seating area was dirty, with food remnants left behind from previous customers. Cleanliness and attentive service are basic expectations when dining out, and unfortunately this restaurant fell short on both. The food may be good, but the overall experience was frustrating enough that we'll think twice before returning. read more

I ordered the classic Eggs Benedict and it was so good! The delicious hollandaise sauce, with the right amount...not skimpy like some places can be. Also ordered, was the Huevos Rancheros and the Salmon Eggs Benedict, with an Espresso on the side. All three dishes were made to perfection, and I'm a picky breakfast person, when going out and trying new places. The waiter was very attentive, very kind, and made the experience all the more better! I loved the atmosphere, we sat outside; and it was covered enough to block the sun from shining in your eyes and feel open, at the same time! Well we have been here twice, and this two times we had felt like they are racist toward us, don't get me wrong the food was amazing is pretty good, but the service was awful, we couldn't even get a water, I get it they are busy but our waiter would go check on every other table except us and when we finally get to order our drinks we had to do it with another waiter and he gave us an attitude as well, idk we didn't feel welcome over there by the staff, as soon we got the food they gave us our bill even tho we wanted to order more they didn't ask us, and like I said every time we wanted to get something those two times that we went we would get ignored or get help with an attitude :/ I just don't think that's okay and it mades us feel uncomfortable read more

We were in town from California with 16 girls for a soccer tournament on Mother's Day weekend. We descended on this cute little breakfast place to get the girls fed before their game. The staff was so accommodating and got us in and out in under an hour. No easy task when seating and serving up such a large group! Staff set up tables and chairs, took our orders and maybe 15 minutes later, everyone was getting served their meals. The food was delicious and tasty! I was so surprised because I totally expected a long wait given it was Mother's Day and brunch time. Thank you to the staff for getting us fed and to the field on time. We were driving home to Washington state from Wyoming and after driving all night and sleeping for a couple hours we woke up needing some breakfast and coffee. I looked up this place and reviews and pictures looked good. Once we got there around 10 realizing it was Sunday I thought we'd be waiting awhile but it was a 5-10 minute wait. I enjoy coming to the Griddle. We came after a doctor's visit. You walk in, and it's self sitting. We found a booth by a window. The restaurant is warm and busy mild noise. The bathrooms are clean for sharing with the other businesses next to them. We love the fresh orange juice. My friend ordered a glass of orange juice with a raw egg on the side. Our server looked confused as I did, lol.. but she still brought the juice and a raw egg he cracked it into his juice and drank it. The coffee was not as strong as other times that I had been here. They either pile in the baking soda, or they add fifty percent pancake mix. The result are biscuits that are very thick, albeit fluffy. But they lack taste. This place has become my go-to farewell restaurant before leaving Idaho. I arrive at the airport feeling full and ready to travel. My favorite is the chilaquiles as they are full of flavor, crunch, and spice. It's nice that they come with scrambled eggs and avocado to give protein and substance to such a yummy dish. On a different visits, if I am craving a sweet breakfast the raspberry crepe hits the spot. While not overly sweet, it is a bit rich, and has a sweet and savory taste. This was a hearty diner with yummy food and great service! I got the seasonal special southwest benny with pulled pork. Adding chalula to it gave it the little kick it needed. Tasty hash browns that were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. My hubby got the sausage gravy smothered hash browns with toast that was super filling.
