Bandero County Wood Grill has been great for handling our large family gatherings on Sundays…read more Normally we get reservations and the great thing about their menu. Is everyone get something they like. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are large. It's also a great place to go watch a game. Go Pack Go!

This being a restaurant- I weight the food heaving in the rating as that is why you go to a restaurant. Where do I begin?! I ordered the Lord something or other - where you get brisket, chicken, and ribs. The brisket was absolutely awful. Gray, sliced thin, flavorless, very tough. Severely overcooked with zero fat content, dry as a bone. More like rawhide. Drenched in sauce - and if you have to ad sauce to try to make brisket edible - it's no good. Just bad. The ribs- oddly - had a bark like outer covering but I can't speak to flavor because they were drenched in sauce. I sincerely cannot understand how anyone could think this is barbecue. The chicken- over cooked, tough, and again, drenched in sauce. Asparagus- overcooked and slimy - even though it was supposed to be grilled. It wasn't. For the price of the meal, the quality was extremely low. One of my worst meals this year. If I was a chef - I'd be embarrassed this left my kitchen. Lastly, ordered a prickly pear cocktail. Tasted like watermelon. I've had prickly pear juice and drinks before- this had no discernible flavor that resembled prickly pear. All in all- I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. Please- go somewhere else. Anywhere. This food was just flat out bad and very poor quality.

First time into this location! For the most part, we're fans of Panera's food, so it's an easy yes…read morewhen were out and about and need a quick lunch. My husband and I brought our two kiddos in for just that. It was clean, spacious, and updated. Plenty of seating. A fireplace that was on- delightful in this cold weather. For the littles, we ordered a kids grilled cheese meal which comes with one side. We opted for fruit and this time it came with various melons and pineapple (a hit for out kids). The sandwich itself is big so was plenty for them to split. The bread is always favorable here, but the cheese on this one was giving 'Kraft' if I'm honest. It's great they have plenty of children's drink options as well. We grabbed them each a milk. I had the 'pick-two' and got chicken and rice soup paired with the green goddess salad. Soup was delishhhhh, as always from Panera. The salad was a little lackluster though. My husband also raved about the broc-cheddar soup. His paired steak sammie was a little cold however, and it's advertised as being served hot. Overall this was an A-OK experience, but it'll take a lot to put us off from Panera. Still enjoyable a majority of the time!

It's also nice that they offer Boba tea options either for dinner or lunch or to go. Easy parking with a lot right out in front on Appleton makes it an easy choice for a date lunch with my wife.

They also have lunch specials if you're short on time or trying to stay within a budget. For an appetizer, we got the Red Bean Sesame Balls. You get six of these delightful little hot and sweet balls with a red bean center. Probably more of a dessert than an appetizer, but that didn't stop us. Two of us ordered the Pho. I got the Seafood Pho, and the other person got the Beef Pho. Both came out plenty hot, with very generous portions even though we ordered the small size. There were lots of delicious ingredients and a flavorful broth. Both were excellent. The third person ordered the Pad Thai, which was also delicious. The meat was tender, the noodles were cooked just right, and once again, it was a generous portion. Service: We were seated right away and given menus and waters. The server did a good job helping us navigate the menu and was friendly and efficient. The only issue was the timing of the food. Two of us received our Pho while the third person had to wait for her Pad Thai. It would have been better if all three meals had arrived closer together. Instead, we had that slightly awkward round of, "You eat," "No, I'll wait," "No, it'll get cold," and "Do you want some of mine?" Atmosphere: It's a well-designed space with plenty of seating, including spots at a counter and throughout the dining room. The acoustics are a bit loud because of all the hard surfaces, and the volume of the music added to the overall noise level. At times, it was difficult to hear someone across the table without leaning in. Overall, an excellent meal. I would definitely stop in again, either to order the exact same thing or to try something new.
