I spent over $2,000 at this location in hopes of finding relief for debilitating foot pain and plantar fasciitis while waiting for a physician referral. I accept responsibility for not walking away from the price, but I was in significant pain and desperate for a solution. I was not informed of the no-return policy. While the staff were polite, the sales process felt high-pressure. After wearing the inserts, my condition worsened significantly. My foot pain increased, and I developed additional pain in my calves, hips, and throughout my body. I ultimately had to spend significantly more money seeking follow-up care because the product did not help and, in fact, made things worse. Only later did I learn that custom orthotics can be obtained locally through a podiatrist for approximately $350-$400 out of pocket and are actually covered by my insurance plan. I was able to get a referral from urgent care--information I didn't have at the time of purchase. When I returned to express that I was in severe pain and could no longer walk normally after several weeks of use, I received no support, adjustment, or solution. There are no returns, no accountability, and no assistance, even when the product did not work, and my condition deteriorated. This experience was shocking and disappointing. I strongly encourage others to do research and explore medical options before purchasing here. Oh, and as a side note, even with thick socks their inserts caused a weird itching! Top things to know before you go: 1) Be prepared to spend $1500+ 2) They do not/will not refund ANY of your money no matter what 3) Staff seem genuine if misguided They have you go through a whole fitting process and they make you buy 3 inserts plus accessories "for free". But you don't know how much it costs until they ring it all up. And maybe your feet/back/whatever felt better in the 20 steps you took in the store. But for me, that changed immediately. I was back within 48 hours to get re-sized or whatever you want to call it. Also I wanted to return my unused relaxers because FYI this whole system "requires" you to wear these things all the time. I don't and will not wear shoes every waking moment. So I asked to return them and get maybe $500 back (my package cost $1800+). Doesn't matter what you do or try to say, they won't give you money back. This policy is NOT advertised either before or during the whole purchase process. The small print on the receipt is carefully worded to avoid the word "refund". Everywhere else in the modern world offers refunds. This is by far the most ridiculous thing I've experienced. Had this been explained to me during the whole fitting, I would not have purchased them. I've been back three times to change mine out and I still have foot pain (originally came in for plantar fasciitis). Am very seriously considering a BBB complaint. I am lucky in that I have a medical reimbursement account to help with the costs of this waste of money. Maybe there are people out there that truly experienced relief of their problems with Good Feet but so far that seems few and far between. They are selling off the rack orthotics, not custom made.They are very expensive - 3 orthotics cost me $1800. I wore one for 30 minutes and my foot swelled up! When asked for a refund, they refused. My intent was to purchase a good pair of working shoes, and some insoles- due to some ankle discomfort. Tried on a few pairs of shoes decided on New Balance. She then begun with insoles. I figured on spending $300-$500. sales person spent about an hour with me having me walk back and forth multiple times with different pre-molded plastic insoles. i was confused one of the pair of insoles fit pretty well-yet she kept having me try more on. Towards the last ten minutes is when I realized there were three pair of pre-molded plastic insoles. With a full program of when I am to wear what insoles. It was getting late they were past closing. I went to pay she smiled stating she would gladly give me a discount for my military service, and in addition the hospital I work at saving $200. I briefly noted a number showing $372 as I slip my card in the machine she stated your purchase comes to$1896. I gasped in disbelief. certainly this is not possible. Nothing was designed to 'My foot". These were cheap lookin plastic insoles. I said, this certainly is not possible. She asked if I was okay, I again explained I cant afford this. It was closing time I figured i would catch breath, and return first thing in the morning. That night I begun to read reviews-most very bad-this practice is typical for "The Good Feet store". I initially purchased the Good feet system due to my flat feet & high recommendation from my parent. Unfortunately these did not work for me, plus the extremely high price tag of $1300, I had requested to return them after 7 days of use. When making this request, I had called the corporate number listed on the Goodfeet website. This was my mistake. I ended up speaking to someone who refused to help and made it clear they do not accept any returns for any reason. No exceptions. After this, I wrote multiple negative reviews of my experience. Upon seeing these reviews online, my local Goodfeet store reached out and corrected the issue. They fully refunded me without hesitation and were extremely apologetic for my previous negative service with customer service. Having been urged by a friend of mine to visit this business, one day, I thought I would give it a try, glad I have, and no looking back. I arrived at the store, which was clean, serviceable and staffed by very friendly Covid aware people. I made an appointment for my visit. Upon arrival I was greeted by "Joey" who was polite and friendly making the start of my visit very inviting. Invited to a little section of the store Joey embarked on explaining the product, the approach, and the methodology of implementing a successful good feet program. I was simply BLOWN AWAY at his presentation and product knowledge, not failing to mention his kind, considerate and caring communications skills. After completing the necessary measurements Joey assembled my "Good Feet" package. At the same time, I also purchased two pair of shoes, which were competitively priced. Joey proceeded to take me through the program, installed my orthotics in a pair of the new shoes and suggested I try them on. As uncomfortable as the corrective "strength" orthotics are, meaning somewhat uncomfortable to my feet, the second I stood up, I could feel the difference in my entire body, I was shocked. Again through this gentleman's product knowledge and presentation I instantly knew the Good Feet program was for me. It's been a little over a week now since I started, I revisited the store today as I had a problem with one of the pair of shoes, Joey being the consummate professional immediately addressed and rectified the matter. When I walked into the store I instantly recalled how my life had changed from the first time I walked through those doors around a week ago. I'm rather taken aback by the profound effect this product has had on my life, my posture, and how I feel making this worth every penny. A view months ago I went with my partner to the good feet store in Eugene and the staff (Rachel) was very pushy on making the sale, my partner did but was not really comfortable with it and changed his mind, he can not get out of it and it's all based on lies! They said he missed a view appointments and that's it a no cal no show!! Not true! And on his last appointment RACHEL was not there,she was at lunch during our appointment and came in later and helot other people!!! DO NOT GO TO THAT STORE! After a few years of trying to decide whether I needed to stop in at the Eugene store, my knee pain was so great that I knew something had to be done. When we went in we were greeted by Dave who immediately made us feel at home. After diagnosing what we needed, we tried the inserts out by walking around the store. After two laps around the showroom, I felt a significant reduction in pain, while my wife's pronation problem disappeared. We bought the program along with four pairs of shoes that we REALLY love. After the sticker shock wore off, and it is now a month later, we are still amazed at the difference in our walk. We are doing more and having more fun than we have had in a long time. Last week we returned to the store and met the district manager Katie and Kevin from the Spokane store. They were extremely nice and glad to get our positive feedback. I spent $199 at the Good Feet Store. I was clear with them that I do a lot of hiking and even brought in my boots. I told him, after walking a dozen miles or so, that my right foot often has problems, and my left foot has minimal discomfort but gets tired. It seemed like the person working with me knew what they were doing. He took an imprint of my feet on pressure-sensitive paper and went off in the back. He returned with two sets of plastic inserts. I was informed that I could not return my purchase. Okay, I said, let's do it, but I was being naive. I asked him why both inserts were the same for the right and left feet when my feet look so different on the imprints. He said that's what is indicated for my feet. This should have been a red flag, but I ignored it; he's the expert, right? These inserts did not work for me. The inserts he gave me were not full inserts they were partial inserts designed to go under the arch of my foot. These inserts tended to move around in my boot when I would start walking. Also, walking downhill, the insert caused my toes to hit the front of my boot, which does not happen without it. To stop the movement of the insert and keep my toes from hitting the front, I laced my boots tighter than I am used to. I tried the inserts out a few hundred yards one day, then a mile the next, three miles, and three more miles. This caused several injuries, including very painful shin splints so bad that I could barely walk, and my toes hurt a lot. It sounds like other people get better results; I wouldn't know, but I wasted my money and suffered a lot of pain for my trouble. I went to my podiatrist and was told the cause of shin splints is a lack of foot flexibility, i.e., lacing my shoes tight to keep the insert in place likely caused shin splints. I put the inserts aside and went back to lacing my shoes the way I used to; it took four weeks to heal the shin splints. It seems to me that the inserts never had a chance of working and did not address the difference between my feet. I will never go back. read more

I live in Eugene OR and have no idea why it says I live in SF. Anyway... Summary Version: to avoid mis-spending over $1,000 and possibly damaging your feet more... go to a foot doctor before going here. Detailed Version: my feet started hurting about 8 months ago. I rested and iced them, got different shoes, it got worse so I called my "doctor" at WeNoCare (aka Nova Care) and scheduled the first available appointment more than a month out. The Nurse Practitioner there referred me to Eugene Foot and Ankle Center and I scheduled for November, their first available appointment. The NP at WeNoCare mentioned GoodFeet Store as something to look into. My mother (who is 89) also suggested I check it out based on what her friends told her. She warned me it was expensive. The product did help my feet. They put me on the 'road to recovery'. BUT... They called me today with a CANCELLATION at the Foot Center. Doctor there was very polite as I ranted about the cost/benefit. Doctor showed me how to stretch my calf and leg muscles. He explained that was THE most important thing I must do. He PRESCRIBED a strong anti-inflammatory. And he sold me some more inserts for $55 that look and act like the $1,000 set at GoodFeet but explained that the stretching exercise was most important long run and the anti-inflammatory was most important short run. I tend to doubt stores like this - I used to think they were gimmicks, created to take our money in return for empty promises . But now , I swear I could be their spokesman ! I kid u not this store has changed both my daughters life and mine. My daughter was told by her podiatrist that all he could do for her was give her a painful injection (which she took) to alleviate the pain she felt standing . It didn't work . Imagine being 16 and not being able to stand more than ten minutes without extreme pain . My mother decided to take her to the good feet store and literally from that day forward her life was changed . She is actually able to live life now as a normal person , and to embrace all the world has to offer her instead of standing on the sidelines as she had to do in the past . Yes they are expensive - but they truly are the solution - I would have spent perhaps twice as much or more on god knows what looking for pain relief for her . I was having terrible pain, particularly in my left heel and ankle, and although I had an appointment with a podiatrist, it was six weeks out, so decided to check out The Good Feet Store in the meantime. I am so glad I did as I bought the orthotics and in a short amount of time, my foot pain was gone. I kept the appointment with the podiatrist just to see what he would say and he said, "Looks like you've solved your problem!" I ended up at the good feet store because I am a full-time ER nurse and on my feet constantly. I was having excruciating knee pain and starting to have hip pain. I've had issues with my feet for 10+ years and have done all sorts of different insoles, been to a podiatrist who recommended a mid grade insole before jumping to custom orthotics, and they worked for a little while...until they didn't. I knew there was no way that I could work for another 20+ years with the pain that I had now let alone if it got worse. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get custom orthotics. When I walked into the store I was literally limping from having worked the previous four nights. It is amazing at how much less my knees hurt now. I am even training for a half marathon and I can imagine how much I would be hurting without the new insoles! I've had to go back a couple of times to have some tweaks on the strengtheners but the staff have been pleasant and welcoming and helpful each and every time. Definitely recommend to anyone who has any sort of feet, knee, or hip pain. It might be a large price upfront but it is one cost that will last a lifetime and you can go to any Good Feet Store in the United States and have tweaks and exchanges done. This was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I have Planters Fasciitis in both my feet and was miserable. I came in using a cane because I have balance issues. I tried the insert in one of your shoes and started walking around the room. I didn't notice it at first but all of a sudden I realized that I was walking with out my cane! BUYER BEWARE i have flat feet and I went into the good feet store to see what they had to offer, they recommended 3 sets of inserts to help fix my feet but when i was told it would cost me over $1,100.00 i was immediately suspicious, there's no way 6 pieces of plastic cost that much, i said I'd think about it then went and did my own research, look at yelp reviews for other locations or just google good feet store reviews and you'll find hundreds of 1 star reviews as well as suggestions for cheaper alternatives that actually work, apparently their inserts have worked in the long run for some people but definitely not all and with no refunds you're taking a gamble. Check at the yelp reviews for their location in mission valley San Diego and you'll see what i mean. You'll likely pay less going to an actual podiatrist, aka a foot doctor and they'll actually know how to help instead of being just a salesperson selling overpriced plastic. Custom orthotics from a podiatrist or somebody who makes custom orthotics will cost you much less on average. These products definitely don't work for everyone and they're way overpriced. Also according to reviews all sales are final so if they don't work for you like they haven't worked for many others then you're out of luck. read more
