My hubby and I are hooked; we're loyal regulars at this point. Greens: 5/5 The greens are well-maintained overall. A couple of tee boxes (hole #2 and #13 on the white tees) don't grow grass, but for the price, the course is in pretty good shape. Tee times cost about $30 on weekdays, $25 at twilight, and $35 on weekends. It's a fun course that's perfect for beginning golfers and a great spot for more advanced players to practice their irons. Parking: 5/5 There's a private lot with plenty of street parking available as well. Atmosphere: 5/5 The course wraps around a series of charming homes in Lakehouse, adding to its delightful and well-kept appeal. Staff: 5/5 Fantastic! The staff here is incredibly helpful and friendly. A special shoutout to Mikey for his outstanding customer service!

The men behind us hit into us, shouted at us, taunted us & then lost it screaming at the course employee who asked them to behave better. They bragged that they didn't get kicked off the course. They were mad at the pace of play but it was backed up for several holes so we were waiting on the people in front of us. They hit into us dangerously & laughed & then yelled calling us babies for asking them to stop hitting into us. Mostly we've had good experiences the last few years but more & more there has been people hitting into groups in front (& not yelling 4) & aggressive abusive behavior to us & others. When it's reported nothing has been done but today was really awful & Eric says management has no obligation to enforce better (or even safe) behavior. It seems like the bad behavior is mostly directed at women & groups that include women. The course is maintained at a mediocre level and they are often running the lawnmowers during play (which can slow down play) but it's a nice course ruined by increasing bullies who know they can be rude, dangerous & inappropriate & not have consequences.

I didn't feel welcomed when I arrived or excited about golf by the time if left in any way. I didn't love being on camera the whole time, especially when the video was not really used for the coaching feedback. The whole experience could have been better with just some minor tweaks. Made me think I should just stick with YouTube to learn the game. Probably better for an intermediate or serious golfer with a mission to improve a specific aspect of their form. Disclaimer: this was a gift I received so I didn't really pick it or have a clear expectation of what the 80 mins would entail.

I grew up playing competitive golf in high school and college, but after years away from the game due to back issues, I found myself struggling with bad habits and an inconsistent swing. That's when I came across Max and decided to give Swingworx a shot. From the very first swing analysis session, I knew I was in the right place. Max is incredibly knowledgeable and not just about golf mechanics but also the physics behind the swing. He has a great way of breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense, helping you understand why something is or isn't working. His setup is top-tier: a private, well-equipped studio with cutting-edge technology, video analysis, and clear takeaways after every session. Max also sends over swing videos and key points to work on between sessions, which has been a game-changer for my progress. I'm only halfway through my package and already seeing a dramatic improvement in my ball striking and flight path. For the first time in years, I'm enjoying the game again and looking forward to playing with confidence. If you've ever considered lessons--whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player--this is the place. Max and Swingworx are the real deal. Highly recommend

Despite a lot of practice and a few lessons from different pros I was unable to get my old clubhead speed and accuracy back. Although I am 68 I maintain my fitness and my flexibility and strength are little different from 10 years ago. My first lesson with Brian was last month. I had some trepidation about having a lesson without seeing the ball flight on a range. However I greatly appreciated the fact that the lesson was completely private on his property, which made things much more personal than on a public driving range. His equipment and observations told me how I was striking the ball quite accurately and he made salient observations of my grip, set up and swing path that none of the other pros I have seen picked up on. After the lesson I returned to the range, and later the golf course, and I saw immediate improvements, which further improved with more practice. My weak fades were now gone! In fact I found myself overclubbing myself based upon previous expectations. I found that I could take one club less and still hit the greens. This is all after just one lesson! For those of you who have taken lessons from many different pros, as I have, you can really see the difference with Brian's lessons, of course combined with practice. He works with your physical capabilities rather than trying to teach you "his swing," as other pros have attempted unsuccessfully with me. This is especially important for a senior golfer who does not have the spinal and shoulder flexibility of a younger golfer. Thanks BRIAN, and I look forward to future lessons and swing improvements. You have made golf fun for me again!

The swing evaluation at GolfTEC really clicked with me though; you're provided with instant visual feedback (side view & down the line) and metrics on every swing. I walked out of there with the 3-month/10-lesson plan and it's been great fun! The swing evaulation fee was waived, and you even get a fitting thrown in for free also as part of the plan. That I enjoyed my time there is mainly down to the instructor, Don Luvsan, who's been a fantastic coach! Equal parts creative in his methodology, and patient in his delivery and reinforcement. He's a real asset to the facility and I've greatly appreciated my time under his tutelage. Thanks in no small part to Don, I've got a much more consistent swing, and I know why from all the visual feedback. In fact, I just posted my best score on a round this weekend, and have tons more confidence from any situation because we've walked through all of it during the sessions, and all the feedback and video summaries of my lessons are in the online portal if ever I need a refresher. They've got a great sale (which appears to be annual) through the month of August, so I'd encourage you to give Don a call for a swing evaluation and see if the coaching resonates with you. Mileage may vary, but with the 'Game Plan' i signed up for, you get to practice at the facility 3 times a week outside of your usual lesson. When things were quiet, Don was always happy to poke his head in to check on me and work through some sticking points. All that's left is the fitting. Looking forward to it, and I'll be booking in with Don again after I've developed a few bad habits on the course.

This review is for their wedding venue, not the golf course itself…read more This was one of our final contenders and ultimately stood out for creating an intimate atmosphere without feeling dominated by the golf course. All of my communication was through Nicole, who was consistently responsive and quick to answer questions throughout the process. =PROS= *Ceremony and reception spaces felt completely separate from the golf course *Overnight parking included *String lighting at both the entrance and outdoor areas was included *Extensive menu customization with premium upgrades that were not commonly offered elsewhere, including caviar and oysters *Beautifully designed bar setup *Gorgeous fireside patio space *Flexible dessert options *Reasonably priced meals for vendors and children *Complimentary soft holds with 24 hours to make a decision =CONS= *Ceremony site felt somewhat bare aside from the well maintained lawn *Bridal and groom suites were on the smaller side, with bathrooms located separately *Chivari chairs required an additional setup fee *Cocktail hour catering was limited to in house options *Reception space felt somewhat cramped for a guest count of 150 =NOTES= *The parking lot was quite full during our consultation, though we were told it typically clears out later in the day *Only four restroom stalls for guests, though renovations are reportedly planned in the near future Overall, this remained one of our strongest contenders. Had we been bigger golf enthusiasts, this venue may very well have won us over. The package felt highly inclusive, and there were numerous thoughtful details that set it apart from other venues we toured. However, with our larger guest count, the indoor reception space felt a bit tight and ultimately gave us some hesitation.
