    Guava Margarita yum!!!!
    Kita H.

Well stopped in for dinner and drinks while staying at The Graduate Hotel. We had no idea who was performing and didn't really care -- it was just background noise as far as I was concerned. This review is strictly about the food, drinks, and table service. I ordered the pink guava margarita, which was freakin' delicious. I really, really liked the flavor of this drink. It was very flavorful with a nice tequila kick. I would order this drink again without hesitation. My boyfriend had the blueberry gin limeade. I didn't like this drink at much, but he seemed to like it. We ordered the jalapeno shrimp appetizer, which featured seared shrimp and a grit cake. The shrimp were juicy and flavorful and paired well with the grit cake. I ordered the Trout and Sweet Corn Grit Cakes for my entree. I was informed that they were out of trout. Le sigh. My heart sank. They were subbing shrimp for the missing trout. I decided to give it a go since the appetizer was so good and the entree was basically using the same main components. The dish was good, but I kept imagining how great it would have been with trout. My boyfriend ordered The Local Burger, which was pretty basic and not very good. I wish the patty had more seasoning or something to make it special. Our server was cheerful and energetic. She was knowledgeable and made good suggestions. Service flowed smoothly. Overall, I have no major complaints about my visit. I would probably return here for drinks and go elsewhere for food since nothing really blew me away.

This is medium rare. It's almost raw in the center.

Skip it! I came here before a Concert to support the venue hosting my favorite artist. It took 90 minutes to receive and eat half of my steak, which was under cooked. By the time I got to find a general admission seat, I got a crappy seat separate from my date. Very very disappointing.

Really cool venue! Our server was EXCELLENT even though there was a very large crowd. There is not a bad seat in the house, however arrive early to ensure you snag a seat. We originally had a seating issue which was addressed promptly by the staff, and handled in a more than fair way. We will definitely return and recommend!

Kitchen closes arbitrarily, came in at 830 and they said the cook was already closing. The bartender was a sweet older woman named Pat that moved as slow as molasses. She took over 5 mins to make an ice water. This place could be so awesome if it was better managed and book much better talent. The food may be decent, but I'll never know. Whatever

    From our seat....loved the place.

My friends and I visited this place to listen to Charlie Starr play solo. The place was great, acoustics were great on the third floor. The drinks were not watered down and the food was great. They had a great deal where if you buy an entree before 7pm,a get an appetizer for free. Huge portions. One of my favorite places to hear live music. I will be back !!

The portions were generous, especially considering the price, and the overall quality was excellent. The food: I went with the Fried Chicken Blue Plate. Between the regular and the Nashville Hot, the Nashville was the winner--flavorful and moist without being overwhelming with the spice. Huge shoutout to my server for suggesting the brussel sprouts; that glaze is incredible and they were easily my favorite part of the plate. The mashed sweet potatoes were unique--I'm still debating if I liked them or loved them. The jalapeño cornbread was a bit sweet for my taste but on par with most restaurant cornbread. The mac & cheese wasn't bad, but also didn't do much for me like most restaurant mac & cheese. The cocktail: Do not sleep on Nana's Naissance. I wasn't sure what to expect from the ingredients, but it's like an elevated take on Rumchata. The service: I was seated at the bar and experienced a noticeable delay--a group that arrived well after me almost finished their meal before mine arrived. However, the waitress acknowledged the wait before I even had to mention it and made things right. I really appreciate that kind of proactive service. We're all human, and they handled the situation very professionally.

Nestled in a gorgeous building that was once a residential house, the restaurant has a gorgeous and cozy ambience that makes you feel like you're visiting with friends from the moment you enter. The menu changes with the seasons, and I've never been less than impressed with the often-inventive dishes. I highly recommend starting with their cast iron cornbread. It sounds simple, but it's truly elevated. Right now, the sweet potato brown butter pierogies are absolutely mouth-watering, and the hazelnut bread pudding is rich and a perfect blend of sweetness and cream. The waitstaff is top notch and you'll receive better, more attentive service here than at restaurants with much larger price tags in Atlanta. They also have an impressive cocktail program and wine list. On the "it's the little things" list, the candles 5 & 10 uses in the restroom are outstanding! They sell them and they're spendy, but worth it.

I was 3rd in line and pleasantly surprised + pleased. Think Chipotle meets Chopt (the salad bar ). Fresh ingredients. LOTS of mix and match options OR preset menu items. And just as many drink options, including locally made kombucha. I ordered the winter salad and low country plates. With the exception of the turmeric ginger dressing (a little too zesty for me) and the hoppin John salad (hoppin John OR salad ... not both ) EVERYTHING was delicious. I enjoyed the salad way more than I thought I would. The spicy avocado dressing is YUMMY! The greens were cooked to perfection - another shocker. The edamame crunch, tofu and crunchies were just as delicious. I will visit the Atlanta location just to try the fritters! A wonderfully healthy and scrumptious delight !

Flavor however, is lacking. I was underwhelmed. That's the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars. I didn't realize the broccoli would be cold. That also threw me off. It was empty when we arrived and we were served immediately. The environment was a bit stale but only because the place was empty. If you enjoy minimal seasoning, you will love it here. I liked it, but I didn't love it.

We had the ones with Cajun seasoning which were really good but the garlic fries are seriously over the top. When we return (yes, of course we will return) I think I just want garlic fries. They don't really work for a cheeseburger. It is still a damned good burger. The only real problem is that it will occupy too much room in my stomach that could otherwise be filled with garlic fries. The dining room is a bit small. Let's call it intimate. The staff are wonderful. Go. Eat fries. Life is good.

This is not a Chicago dog, the bun was toasted and not soft with poppy seeds. Bit it was good. The fries were freshly cooked, crispy, and hot. Cheese sauce was excellent. I go to a 40 Watt or Foundry show about once a month. I will be back to Clocked again to try a burger. I like this place.
