Very fast service and was seated quickly. Cute little spot with great selections of breakfast food. The service was very nice

My first time in Atlanta and was so excited to meet up with an old friend who had moved there and have brunch! Ended up having breakfast on a weekday as she had work that day but was pleased with her choice in eatery. I decided to go with the Piedmont Omelette and it was super tasty. The potatoes were great as well, the dish came with a biscuit but I'm not much of a biscuit guy so I can't report on that. Service was great, super friendly and the decor was super cute, decorated in a very homey way with an eccentric touch. I will definitely go back on my next visit to ATL.

We decided to come to this location with two of our friends. I ordered the Bacon, Egg* and Cheese | Chorizo which was just alright. The mango mimosa was also just alright. I ordered some regular Orange Juice which wasn't even "freshly" made, that just came from one of O.J cartons that you find in most supermarkets. The place is always super busy and crowded. The service wasn't bad. I definitely wasn't impressed with this place. Will I come back? Probably not.

Brunch was busy the day of our visit but we only had to wait about five minutes outside until a table was readied. Tables were a little tight together. Ours was right next to a pillar and a wire rack of stuff behind me. There was a good mix of brunch choices from omelettes, chicken & waffles, scrambles, grits and more. We ended up trying the following: Best I Ever Had which was french toast but not the best we've eaten. Piedmont Omlette was filled with chicken it sausage. bacon, cheese and onions. It did seem like the omelette was a bit small versus the biscuit and bowl of grits. Overall food was as expected but we did like the creaminess and taste of their grits. Not sure I recall seeing a separate credit card processing charge posted anywhere or informed by our server but they added an extra 3.5% to our bill when we used it. Really needs to be clearly highlighted so it's not a surprise when asked to pay the bill after they've run the credit card. Service overall was good but next time in Atlanta we'll try another brunch spot.

We came to The Flying Biscuit Cafe this morning for breakfast. Lots of options, you come in with an appetite. My Chicken and waffles were okay. The waffles were a little over cooked, however the chicken was crispy and buttery. I coated with syrup all over the plate. The vibe was fun in the restaurant, staff was helpful and friendly, the table clothes were colorful and quirky. Southern breakfast food served all day. All payments is accepted, plenty of parking available. Pets are welcomed outside.

Solid breakfast spot. My favorite place for grits -super creamy. I had the open face biscuit with scrambled eggs, and gravy, with a side of the creamy grits. Their gravy doesn't have the traditional pork sausage, it's chicken, which I wasn't a huge fan of, but it was still very good. This location has a unique and cute layout, with winding windows throughout the place, making tables quite intimate. It was a lovely solo breakfast in the city. Plus the service was amazing, from the server (I think her name was Keke) to the cook that brought me my food. All around nice experience!

Want to have southern comfort food, this is your place! Their grits are creamy and cheesy but the shrimp on the grits is a bit small and the tomato sauce tastes like it's from a can. Waffles was fluffy and biscuits were good but could be a little flakier. The decor is cozy and feels like you're at someone's house .Our server was so hospitable and gave such a detailed walk through the menu. Definitely a place to visit!

Pretty good brunch place in Atlanta and lives up to the hype! My friend and I came around 11am for brunch on Sunday, and there was a pretty long line. We waited around 25 minutes and we were only in the middle of the line, but luckily they had a space open up for a party of two so we were able to get in a little earlier. Service is super quick, with the waiter attending to you as soon as you arrive. I got the egg-stravaganza, and it was good! I loved the variety I was able to try, and the biscuits and grits were especially delicious. I would definitely come again to try more of their menu items!

First time here . Was recommended to try this place out . The food was delicious. The biscuit was one of the best I've ever had . It was fluffy and soft . The grits were amazing . The Arnold Palmer was delicious. Our waitress Iliana was so sweet , very warm welcoming and consistent with service . She was handling the whole restaurant smoothly . I definitely recommend this place

Very busy corner location with limited parking near by. Place was packed, good sign for breakfast joint. Friendly staff! Good quality to cost ratio. Portions were average. Good coffee, not burnt. Overall great downtown local neighborhood breakfast place to try. Be prepared to wait on weekends... nice selection of adult brunch beverages.

The star of the dish was the gravy. The gravy was well seasoned and the consistency was spot on. The chicken, although big pieces was bland and dry. The waffle was good but the chicken could have been better. The collard greens were amazing seasoned well and definitely pair it with the grits. It's an unique combination. I enjoyed my time and would come back.

    Breakfast burrito (Southwest)

The food was fantastic! It was my first time trying the fried green tomatoes and they were incredible. The French toast hit the sweet spot, just the right amount of sweetness from the sauces The breakfast burrito lived up to my expectations. I visited on Juneteenth, so the restaurant was understandably busy. With only one server covering the entire room, we waited about 30minutes to place our order and occasionally needed to flag down other staff for to‑go boxes and the check (which we were redirected to wait for our waitress after already waiting). Our server was clearly doing her best under pressure, and a bit of extra help from the rest of the team would have made the experience smoother. Overall, I'd come back for the food alone and hope on future visits the staff gets a little more support during holiday rushes.

We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

Title: Flavor Explosion, Soulful Hospitality & a Last-Minute Meal That Turned Magical…read more Let me just say this: what started as a "quick bite before closing" turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had in a long time. We arrived at The Poach Social about 20 minutes before closing, unsure if we'd be rushed--but instead, we were welcomed with warmth and ease. Lived the ambiance. Hunter, our server, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made us feel taken care of from the very start. Then came Victor, the owner and chef--and this is where things shifted from good to special. Without us even asking, he recommended a mocktail that felt like it was made just for me: a sorrel-based drink layered with ginger, spice, herbs, and fresh fruit. It was refreshing, balanced, and honestly one of the best non-alcoholic drinks I've had. We started with the jerk egg rolls... and I'm not exaggerating when I say we were clapping after the first bite. Crispy, juicy, flavorful, with a sweet-spicy sauce that just worked. We immediately knew we'd be taking more to go. For the main course, we ordered the Poach Social breakfast plate and the blackened salmon with polenta. The breakfast plate was comforting and well-executed, but the salmon dish? Absolutely unforgettable. Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth texture, with creamy polenta and a rich sauce that brought everything together. It was a full-on flavor experience. The timing of everything--from drinks to apps to entrées--was seamless. Hunter checked in at the perfect moments, never too much, never too little. We ended up in a lovely conversation with Victor, who is not only talented but genuinely kind and passionate. He brought us complimentary slices of carrot cake, and even though we were already full... we ate every bite. No regrets. It was phenomenal. What I loved most is that this place doesn't just serve food--it creates an experience. There's intention, care, and heart behind everything. If you're in Atlanta, do yourself a favor and go. This place deserves to thrive. We will absolutely be back.
