Conveniently located near State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium--and within easy walking distance from the Omni Hotel--it's an ideal spot before or after an event. The menu elevated flavor. We ordered the jalapeño hushpuppies, warm crab dip, shrimp creole, pan-seared trout, roasted chicken, blackened fish sandwich, New York strip, and finished with the caramel bread pudding. Three words: warm crab dip. Located in the Glenn hotel, this restaurant has a little bit of everything. State, burgers, seafood, and it is all really delicious. My party and I grabbed a few things and split it between all of us. I personally ordered the salmon, it was really top-notch. The roasted chicken got top marks as well. The salmon with risotto was delicious! Also make sure to get the not pictured, jalapeño hush puppies and crab dip. The hush puppies have some heat from the sauce but it's not too spicy. We reluctantly went here after reading so many mixed reviews. Well, for a busy Sunday in between 2 major events and no reservations, they crushed it.! (i tried making reservations but was unable to online. Probably bc they were booked) The young host was kind & warm and said they had to commit to the reservations and they were not taking a waiting list. I didn't expect them too so that's why we got there early. Great service and the food was great! Cool and cozy atmosphere. Would go back for sure! I don't think I will ever come back. The two gentlemen behind the bar weren't friendly at all. It was almost lot they didn't want to service us. The service felt more like what do you want, while they were friendly and interacted with everyone else in the dining room. I was excited to come to Glenn's because I hadn't been in a while but the service was not well at all. I asked the other bartender (I didn't get their name because they never introduced themselves, just asked how can I help you). At the end of my experience, I asked them do they have anything for surveys like a card or anything, hinting I was leaving a review and the bartender told me, "oh we don't do reviews". The salmon dish I looked forward to was okay. I couldn't enjoy my food honestly. Thanks for the free desert for my friends birthday I guess? Restaurant of the Glenn hotel in downtown ATL. Definitely a great spot to visit and have a fantastic meal when in town. Had pleasure of eating here a couple of times now. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Ambiance of the restaurant fits well with the overall vibe of the hotel, which is boutique chic. Menu is well designed with a good variety of options. Located in the lobby of the Glenn Hotel Atlanta, it's a downtown Atlanta destination for sensational dishes like this char-grilled salmon! Light and slightly charred salmon cooked perfectly atop a bright, lemon, creamy risotto that brings out the savory salmon flavor wonderfully! Then, they amped up the flavor with tangy pickled onions to mix in. We paired it with the bright, herbaceous Garden in the sky cocktail filled with cool cucumber and tangy mint.  Some of our other favorite dishes start with the starters like the Deviled Eggs and Jalapeno Hushpuppies. The Deviled eggs are sharp and tangy, a tasty spicy, sweet savory bacon jam on top. Yum! Speaking of spicy, the Jalapeño hushpuppies start out sweet with corn and honey, then the spicy jalapeño kicks in for a balanced bite! The spicy dipping sauce is icing into her cake. We paired this with Glenn's Old fashioned a traditional cocktail yet that is boozy and a slight sweetness for balance.  We also tried one of their salads, the Ahi Tuna Salad, and a handheld, the Short Rib sandwich. The Short rib sandwich is meaty and tender short rib paired with a spicy and creamy horseradish aioli, finished off with slaw on a crunchy ciabatta roll. And the Ahi Tuna Salad is savory and seasoned ahi tuna with a bright spring salad, tangy dressing, and creamy avocado. And don't forget the service! We dined here before a show as it was convenient to the State Farm Arena. We arrived around 6:30 on a Monday evening. The restaurant was not packed but there were right many tables occupied. The hostess was very friendly and we were seated right away. We ordered 2 Georgia Peach cocktails and 2 Strawberry salads. One with shrimp and one with salmon. Ok, I'm a little biased given the name of this establishment! The name got me. I was in town for a conference and we all had a good laugh about a hotel and restaraunt sharing my name. And eventually, we decided to venture here for dinner....thank you colleagues! Raven was our server and she was awesome! Very friendly and accommodating. She was really helpful with suggestions. Our meals were a Ruben, Shrimp and grits, Short Rib sandwich and two orders of creamy grits. Everyone loved their meals! Portions were generous and was had enough tot take back to our respective hotel rooms. The server and manager (and all of us) had a good laugh when they realized my name as we paid our tabs. Service was good, but the food was subpar. The salad I got had massive leaves making it hard to eat on a business lunch and the chicken I got on top was overcooked. The food was exceptional and the service was outstanding! My wife and I both had the strawberry salad with added grilled chicken and were both pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. Like many folks, we wandered into this spot on lunch break from a conference at local hotel. It's absolutely lovely inside, was quiet so we could converse easily - and our server was an absolute sweetheart. We were kind of bummed there was no fried chicken on menu at lunchtime as that's what we were craving. So we got sandwiches instead & they offered to make my chicken sandwich fried instead of grilled which was good. Ordered a kale salad coz after a few days of Southern eating my body was screaming for vegetables- but the salad has SO MUCH cheese and dressing I could not finish it. Anyways we both enjoyed the sandwiches and polished off completely. My husband and I dined at Glenn's Kitchen today. I had eaten here just two weeks ago and was impressed by the excellent service and the generous portion of roasted chicken. At that time, I had received a half chicken for $28, which I thought was great value for the price. Planning to share the dish with my husband, since I prefer white meat and he enjoys dark meat, we initially considered ordering an additional side of mashed potatoes. However, we decided at the last minute to order two separate roasted chicken meals because we were both quite hungry. It turns out, that was a smart decision. When our meals arrived, I was surprised to see that each plate only contained a chicken breast and a wing--far less than the half chicken I had been served previously. I immediately asked our server about the portion size, and she said she would send over the manager, Stephanie. When Stephanie came to our table, I showed her a photo of my meal from October 6, 2024, and asked why the portion size had changed so drastically. Stephanie explained that the chef had reduced the portion size due to rising chicken costs and feedback from customers who weren't finishing their meals. However, I found this explanation unsatisfactory. Whether customers finish their meal or not, they've still paid for it, so why not offer them the same portion? Furthermore, if the meal now only includes a quarter chicken, patrons should at least have the option to choose between white or dark meat. For $28, serving just a quarter of a chicken seems overpriced, especially given the half chicken I had previously received. Although Stephanie did take $5 off each meal in an effort to make things right, the overall experience left a sour taste in my mouth. Based on this experience and the principle of the matter, I won't be returning to or recommending Glenn's Kitchen. read more

Brenda was my server and 100/10. She was so sweet, attentive and probably one of the best waitresses I've ever had! She was so personable and can tell she really loves her job. This is the bar located on the first floor of the Glen Hotel. It's got a boutique feel with old money ghosts that seem to swarm around you as you try to show that you belong (that's the vibe I felt when I was waiting for my friend to join and there was nobody else). They have a good choice of drinks. My Moscow mule was not the best but it wasn't the worst either. What I loved though, was the chicken 65. Yummy!! Very indo-chinese flavors! And a fairly big portion to eat as a snack. My friend got egg rolls and they were great too! We were happy with the food. My mother, my son, and I caught an Uber from our hotel to this restaurant for lunch, which is located inside the Glenn Hotel. When we walked into the hotel, there was a velvet rope across the entrance of the restaurant saying that it was closed for cleaning and would be open shortly. We looked around for a hostess or waitress, but none could be found. Across from the restaurant is the hotel bar. There was a kind, yet very busy, waitress there. I asked her if she knew when the restaurant would open, was there a hostess, etc. She warmly replied that she'd look for someone to assist us. We waited there while a couple of staff members passed us, but never addressed us or asked if we needed assistance. After waiting for about 10-15 mins, my family and I left. This was very disappointing, as this was our first attempt at food since landing in Atlanta. We didn't get to try the food, but based on the customer service we received (or lack thereof), I do not plan to return. read more

The risotto was also nothing special and could have been out of a box - that's how blan it was. My friend ordered a steak which was a good size and had a large amount of broccolini with it. The service was not good at all and the restaurant only had a few tables so it wasn't because they were busy. Our water glasses were empty just about our entire meal. With the number of great restaurants in ATL I would definitely not go back to this place. read more
