    Banana bread waffle
    Kevin W.

Once again, I came here early on a Saturday morning and had a delicious meal. This venue is in an outdoor mall but on the outside of the mall. I couldn't see this place from the street but it is easy to find once you are in the parking lot. The staff are nice and a really like the decor. I ordered the Banana Bread Waffle. You should ask for 100% maple syrup. You can tell that the waffle is made fresh and there is banana puree and nuts in the waffle. It tastes good is is pretty big.

Easily my favorite place we've eaten!! Nearly everything is gluten free, a lot is dairy free, and all of it is delicious!! The okra was SO good!! The meatloaf, allergy friendly or not, was one of the best ones I've had in years!! Super cute in there, loved the patio seating option, and cannot wait to come back!!!

Let me start with the good... The Creme Brûlée Latte was AMAZING! OMG! It had that crystallized sugar topping that crème brûlée is famous for! I can't say enough about it! It was the best part of B&B. The barista is extremely talented! Next, the service was pretty good! Our server was very attentive and friendly. However, the guy that brought out our food, wasted hot grits on my girlfriend and just said sorry and went on about his day! He didn't even ask if she was okay! Unfortunately, the food was just okay! The grits tasted like they're made with evaporated milk... Waaaay too much of it! The Jalapeno Cornbread had no taste. The deviled had absolutely no seasoning! It tasted like mayo and yolk mixed together and that's it! No salt, pepper, nothing! Now, I will say that the fried okra, pancakes, and bacon were delicious! But again, the Creme Brûlée Latte was the star of the show! I also had a Rose Latte but I wasn't a fan. It tasted like a grandmother smells! If I were to go again, I'd definitely get the Creme Brûlée Latte and stick with the Southern Deluxe Breakfast!

I was having a hard day today but as it's New Years Day no cafes were open. They let me in just to order a coffee at the front and it was just what I needed. Warm and comforting, you could tell the barista knew how to brew a latte. Now I'm happy I live close by! The inside is also very cute!

Great gluten free pancakes and drinks. We had the prickly pear margaritas and loved them so much we got a second round. They have several gluten free options which is good for me.

I absolutely love this place!! The service as great (I believe her name was Christina). She answered all of my questions. The food was delicious. I had the big chicken skillet. It had chicken hash with green peppers and onions plus fried eggs, cheese, and chicken tenders. Most of their menu is gluten free so that was awesome. I had a bourbon peach latte with nondairy milk. The grits were creamy. My husband had the chicken fried chicken with cream gravy. He said it was awesome! I like how they have indoor and outdoor eating options. The outdoor dining area has heaters so it was toasty though cold outside. I will definitely go back when visiting Atlanta!!

Service was quick and prompt. The space is so ecclectic. The servers and wait staff are so nice. The brunch menu was so hard to choose from and each dish was delicious. Portion size is generous and filling. The bourbon pecan latte was the perfect balance of light toasted flavor and rich milk.

While visiting my daughter in Atlanta recently, I asked her where we might meet for breakfast. She mentioned a couple of options and I decided on Bantam + Biddy. Let me just say, that was the perfect choice! The 3-egg omelet with grits and a side of gravy hit the spot for me! Pancakes and a Protein Scramble for the others in party were big hits as well. Our service was excellent and the little sidewalk dining area out front was lovely. I noticed folks with big smiles as they were served their food and the smiles remained as they got up to leave. Like everyone was going to have a good day after eating at Bantam and Biddy...I know we sure did!

I travel a ways down the road for this establishment! No where else can a person needing to watch gluten find so MANY delicious choices! Used to go to the Avalon location and hated that it left but oh so glad Piedmont is still available! And the drinks, and dessert! Fabulous! Parking is easy as is in a strip mall. Be prepared to wait during the more obvious main meal hours. You can get breakfast all day and I even like the coffee and coffee is serious to me. the ambience is open and light and makes the most of the space, tables and counters seating with semi booth experiences available. Come hungry!

The customer service is exceptional--truly an 11/10. The staff is friendly, efficient, and attentive. The biscuits and gravy are outstanding--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. I enjoyed them so much that I wanted a second serving. This is a must-visit spot when in Atlanta.

Why would you go to Starbucks next door that stopped dei initiaves and has bad coffee. Starbucks is overrated . All the gays at la fitness should go to bantam instead of starbucks after their workout Bantam has it all . Great coffee and on top great food and staff all Day long . and a liquor license as well + everyone is welcome ‍‍‍‍

Our server Savannah was awesome. Six of us ordered the chicken and waffles. Some got the real maple syrup. Some got the bourbon pecan syrup.. all very good. Their coffees are all very good too. I ordered the crème brûlée latte less sweet. Others had mocha, bourbon pecan latte and cappuccino. All of this was just what the stomach ordered.

    Cheesecake!

The Bad Food Online order: - Cold Fries - Half my grits spilled inside the bag - Forgot my chicken tender entree - Chicken Parm sandwich wasn't put together well The Good Ambiance: pretty nice and clean Staff: polite and welcoming Cheesecakes: look delicious.

Not what I ordered and paid for. What a rip off

It came with a cornbread, a buttery biscuit, and banana pudding. I was pleasantly surprised by the other items since the ordering site only listed the entree. Best Shrimp & Grits I've had to date. The shrimp was fresh and not overcooked or rubbery. The grits were smooth. The gravy was well seasoned, but not overly salty or rich. The cornbread and bread or biscuit was good, but not extraordinary. Those were quite dense and heavy paired with the other food. I loved the banana pudding. This meal jumpstarted my banana pudding hyper fixation. Very fragrant and not too thick yet still nice and creamy. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy either. It was a good dessert to round out the meal. I hope to come here again and have an actual sit down experience. Curious to see the ambiance!

I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

First things first: the Chicken Biscuit. Buttermilk Kitchen's biscuit is on the crunchy, honey-flavored side. I personally prefer fluffier, more buttery biscuits, so this one wasn't my favorite. That aside, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned and paired well with the cheese grits. If you ever wanted a dry, crunchy version of Homegrown's Comfy Chicken Biscuit, come give this a shot. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.

I'll keep it simple the food was good, don't get me wrong. But for the price, it just didn't match up. The chicken was alright, but I wouldn't say it was the best I ever had, let alone consider it the world's best. This joint is located in the lower hub, but I believe there's also an outside street entrance. Upon entering, we were told to sit anywhere. The interior is rather dim, and it wasn't super clean as there were still some crumbs on our table from the last people who dined there. There is also a very casual feel to the place, exemplified by the fact that food is served on styrofoam plates and paper trays. FOOD: 2-Piece Dark (Thigh & Leg) (4/5) - Chicken was nice and crispy, but nothing crazy special to me. I was expecting it to be spicier. Liked it more with the Louisiana hot sauce on the table. The chicken rests on a slab of white bread and is served with average slaw and sweet baked beans. Fried Okra (3.5/5) - First time having fried okra. Not bad, and I guess frying it eliminates the slimy texture associated with okra. SERVICE: I am not usually one to complain about service. The person who served us was sweet when we did interact, but it was so hard to get their attention to order and get the bill. But beyond that, the kitchen was noticeably SLOW. My brother and I literally only ordered one plate/portion to share since we wanted to try more places, but it took over half an hour to receive our food. They do emphasize that food is cooked to order, but I still found the wait to be baffling. TLDR// Come here or don't, but if you do, make sure you are not on a time crunch. Maybe I am just being harsh because I was expecting more from a place claiming to have the world's best.
