I do think my water damage issue where the closet system needed to come off the wall is rare (although not rare in high rise condos) but I am glad it sounds like CbD in the future will do their best to address customer's requests. I think for their effort in trying to do right in this case it should get a better rating than 1.

Whenever I found something on my own, I could send it to her and she'd let me know if it fit the style we were going for. She was also hands-on when we needed it, helping with installs like placing a rug underneath the primary king sized bed. They do a fabulous job here and you won't be disappointed. I use a custom cabinet company for custom millwork in the main living areas, etc.. but for closets and laundry rooms and even home offices I think they can do a great job! They did my master bedroom and den closets for me. I went with the darker wood because that's what I had throughout, but I recommend using white in closets as it doesn't show the dust as much.

The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We had our entire downstairs remodeled in 2024 - kitchen, master bath, living, etc. We choose…read moreTeamwork Home Designs based on a neighbor's initial recommendation...only to find out later that some of their plumbing work needed to be entirely redone and that they'd had to request a new plumber for their project. In any event, I hesitated to write a review because Shaked was nice to work with and incredibly responsive, but we are still having issues with the work that was done. The most annoying of which is the constant smell from the kitchen sink island. Our kitchen was gutted and everything installed was brand new. A week or so after install, I noticed a moldy, wet, dank smell coming from the sink, dishwasher and surrounding island cabinets (where a large group of pipes feeds into the foundation). Shaked and the plumber remarked that the disposal probably needed to be cleaned. The disposal and everything associated with the kitchen were brand new - they did not need to be cleaned - but we cleaned them anyways. I let this go because my husband didn't really smell anything and I wanted to be optimistic. Well, it's two years later and now EVERYONE in the house can smell this musty dank smell!! We have troubleshooted the dishwasher, the disposal, the p-traps, etc. and are having another plumber investigate. We will likely have to redo part of the island to discover the cause of the smell and it's incredibly frustrating that we can't host because our kitchen smells gross! There were additional issues. A couple months after we started using our newly remodeled kitchen, we heard a loud bang and noticed that the disposal completely detached from the sink! I contacted Shaked and he said something along the lines of - this is normal. Ummmm, No! I've never in my entire life had a disposal fall out from under a sink. He begrudgingly sent the plumber to reset it. It started to come loose again not long after their plumber reinstalled it. Ultimately, my husband DIY'd the install after watching a Youtube video. It's been fine since my husband installed it. Lets see, there was a leak around the base of a newly installed toilet. The toilet needed to be reinstalled. The floating master bath tub was caulked with the wrong product so it looked gross a month or so after install - and continues to look gross because we can't get the substance off. The heated floor wiring was cut during install of the bathroom floors, despite it having an alarm system to alert to said issue. After a lot of back and forth and troubleshooting (on my end), Shaked's team ultimately agreed to remove most of the flooring to reinstall with new wiring. The flooring on the stairs looks sketch to put it nicely. The wall paneling at the base of the kitchen island is wavy and disjointed - looks like a DIY project. The trim on the French doors leading to the master bedroom keeps falling off. Etc. etc. etc. Things they did well - tiling! The tile work from these folks looks amazing! Communication - Shaked was extremely responsive and did his best to address issues as they arose. They were helpful - a pipe burst during the freeze while the house was being remodeled and Shaked sent his plumber to repair quickly and without charge! They happily made changes and didn't really every charge extra which was refreshing. Despite being smelly, the kitchen LOOKS amazing! Overall, enjoyed working with Shaked and his team but not pleased with some of the results. ETA - For what it's worth, my husband thinks they deserve a 4 star review.

The extra cost she estimated at the beginning just proved her in depth knowledge of the whole project and the excellence they'd be providing throughout. All of her contractors were great and the quality of their work was amazing. We thought we had a good eye for detail but still missed little things she spotted during her various walk throughs to have her team fix. I also really appreciated her initial consultations. We didn't have a very specific design vision and she really helped bring our general idea to life, choosing a handful of options for us to pick from in regards to tile, furniture, lighting, etc. She even solved a big-to-me problem in our bathroom of wanting to have our laundry hidden. Budget/Quote-- Entire project cost was very close (within a few dollars) of the original quote and completed within the expected timeline. The only hiccup was when one of the components significantly rose in price from the custom supplier during the 2 weeks since Kristi made the quote. Tradespeople-- Everyone who was here was respectful of our space (having to move throughout most of the house to reach the bathroom) and cleaned up after themselves. They did high-quality work, which Kristi inspected regularly. Besides that, everyone was friendly and made us feel comfortable. Choices-- We told Kristi we had some ideas for style and design, so she asked for some inspiration photos. This guided us through choosing every component. When we were unsure, we asked for her opinion to help us decide. For many things, like the exhaust fan, toilet, and wafer lights, Kristi chose for us and got us quality products she'd used before and saved us from Choice Overload. The end result-- We are so happy with the bathroom now. It is not only beautiful, but also so much more functional than before. Working with Kristi-- Some reviewers said it took a while to get an appointment for a quote. I'm 100% OK with that. It shows that Kristi has plenty of business because she's good at what she does. This was a significant project for our home. Waiting for the right thing is worth it. Beyond that, Kristi was in constant communication with us throughout every stage. I appreciated her organization, such as the materials list and overview of the work by weeks, as well as a rundown of what work would be done each day M-F. About 10 years ago I did another major bathroom redo at a previous home. The contractor did not do any of this. There would be days when no one showed up to do any work, we never knew what was happening, and we had to constantly reach out to him and ask what was going on. Initially, we emailed and called about the epoxy floor and possibly some garage cabinets. Kenny was timely and informative throughout, fielding my multiple questions from out of state. We were able to schedule the epoxy floor installation for the week following our move-in to the house. It took about 4 days from beginning to end. His installers are polite and hard working, and most importantly: effective. We are very happy with the finished product, a beige earthtone with little flecks embedded into it. It is very easy now to clean the garage floor of dust, grass, and liquid. So far, we've only had to use a broom and wet paper towels; but we're sure a warm water mop will come in handy in the future. As for the cabinets, those are more detailed and required a lot more back-and-forth communication, which Kenny handled professionally and timely. We found a lot of choices at the Redline Garage Gear website, which helped our decision-making. From a hidden trash can cabinet, to a parts drawer, to a workbench top and included lighting, we are extremely happy with the finished product. The garage cabinets - and the wall-mounted "Handi-Wall" product - have made our garage a functional and attractive workspace. The cabinets and wall-mounts took about 3 days, if I recall correctly, and a nice touch: when they were done, Kenny called me out to the garage as he was helping to hang various items to give me an idea how to organize things. The only challenge throughout the whole process was a few day delay in the garage cabinet installation due to Black Diamond's busy season. Kenny, however, proactively called me to ensure that would be OK with us, and we agreed together on the next best possible date (only a few days later) so that quality would be maintained, which it certainly was. Kenny and Black Diamond provided us with a beautiful garage that is attractive and functional, and he communicated proactively with me throughout a 2.5 month process. We are happy with the finished products and happily recommend him and his team to anyone wanting to finish out their garage.
