I had Rubber Duck refinish 2 bathrooms in a rental property a few years ago. They did counters and tubs and I was very satisfied by the results: the bathrooms looked brand new, all was done in only a few hours and the price was very honest. Fast forward a few years, after the tenants moved out I found a couple of small spots where the surface rubbed off. I called Rubber Duck to see if there was anyway they could touch that up and sure enough they did and didn't even charge me anything as they considered it covered by warranty! It's been 5 years since Andrew refinished my bathrooms. I wanted to update this review to share that the surfaces are still holding very well and don't show any signs of aging that one might get with plastic or fiberglass inserts. I'm still careful not to use abrasives on his work, but his product easily handles the strong liquid cleansers, including CLR to periodically remove hard water residue. What's more, I gotta say, I love that I no longer have to worry about mold in the shower and bathtubs. read more

DON'T USE this service if you color your hair--or if you think you might ever want to. The owner neglected to mention that haircolor permanently stains the surface (or to put it on his website). I've always been very happy with the quality of their work and their service. They return calls in a timely manner, text when they're on the way, give you an estimate up front--and stick to it, show up on time on the day the work is scheduled to be done, do what they say they say they're going to do, and clean up after themselves before they leave. I needed help repairing a hole in the wall of my fiberglass shower/bathtub. I contacted Andrew and he responded almost immediately. It was easy to set up an appointment because Andrew was so responsive. They cleaned up when they were done. My tub looks brand new. I didn't know you weren't supposed to tip handymen and I gave him a 20 percent tip. Who decided we tip Uber drivers and barbers but not repairmen??
