I was not satisfied with way the master bathroom tile in the shower and floor turned out. Big gaps in the grout and against the floorboards, no apologies, and just excuses. Also, wasn't happy that I didn't receive the vanity we discussed-- I requested a floating vanity and was told that was what I was getting, but that is not what was delivered. The workers left a pile of their meal garbage in the work area each day and left garbage from the work they did scattered throughout the front yard. Such a mess! I expected better time management. They started my job-- but then I guess they have other jobs that were deemed more important so my project dragged on much longer than expected. Since the real estate market was so volatile, I believe the delays costs us money when we were finally able to get the house on the market. I also expected the Rojas Family Tile would handle payment processing in a more professional manner. Asking me to lie on PayPal or Venmo by stating this was a "friends & family" transaction is not a professional business practice. Processing fees are part of your business expenses-- I know because I have run several businesses. Hopefully, things have improved with Rojas Family Tile since we used them in 2021. But based on my experience with them, I wouldn't recommend them.

I called to see if someone could come out and stretch a small corner of carpet for us. (We had a leak and the water went in the corner of the closet). The response was there would be a $400 charge! I said it's only about 12" that needed to be stretched and tacked down so how could that be $400? It is because they only want to do a big job - not take care of the customers that have used them. I will never use them again. Worse, it makes me think buying local is of no advantage to me so don't support the smaller business. We thought by supporting the smaller business, they would support their customers.

We called them out for warranty work, due to shitty work they did prior. They came out and repaired the tile, however when leaving they hit and damaged my mailbox. I got in contact with the "owner" a real fucking character. He joked around and kept denying anything happened when I have everything on camera and me and my fiancé walked outside right after it happened. I will be contacting an attorney for this matter.

Update December 13, 2024 It took Door-to-Door Flooring 1…read moreyear to send someone to our home to look at the tile. After a year of emails, they hired a tile inspector to inspect the tile. The inspector found that the tile glaze was the problem. Door-to-Door Flooring does not guarantee the tile they install. I asked them to replace all of the tiles they had installed. They offered to replace the tiles with visible pits/holes. Last week (1.5 years later), 42 tiles were replaced and we were given several boxes of additional tiles for future replacement. I cannot recommend Door-to-Door Flooring. We went to Door-to-Door Flooring seeking high-quality tile. We were sold seconds at first quality prices. Select a company that sells first-quality tile and guarantees their tile.

The Job was complicated and carpet match was unusual, these guys had the right carpet that matched in a great quality carpet, the installation craftsmanship was better than the original as it was on a spiral staircase and it looked fantastic and helped to sell my house.
