Tabitha quickly responded to my inquiries about getting work done on several pieces of furniture. She came to the house and did some initial repairs on the trimwork on a large antique cabinet. Additionally, I delivered to her a round wooden breakfast table that needed to be stripped and restained and an old bed frame that had a broken spindle between the posts. She completed the work according to the estimated schedule and the quality was excellent. I was very pleased with the work she did for us and will contact her again when other projects come up. Sorry this is so long, but this has been going on for 6 months now…read more I hired Andrew to refinish my claw foot tub. He was very friendly and when the job was done let me know if there were any problems to please contact him and he would take care of them. Unfortunately there is over-spray on all of the tile on the walls from about waist down. It looks like that overspray settled in the tub and left the finish in the tub rough as well-like almost sandpaper rough. The tub was refinished in April. Andrew came back at the end of May once when I was not there(door has a code to let contractors in) and said he "removed the nibs and touched up around the drain". The pictures below are after that. Still rough and overspray on the walls. The tub will need to be moved around to get to all the walls and clean the overspray, so I have it on a flat dolly on wheels to make it easy. He said he needs the tub hooked up to water and a drain to wet sand the tub. I told him I can do that in a few minutes, soon as the overspray is cleaned off of the walls. Lot's of phone calls and text messages later he did agree to come out again on September 3rd, but never showed up. He won't answer the phone, return my messages or respond to text messages. The tub is still very rough and will be a nightmare to clean if it's left like this, along with no so comfortable to sit in. The overspray on the walls is heavy, and will not wipe off. There is a small spot I scraped it off with a putty knife in the pictures below. With a buffer and 3m scrub pad I cleaned 1 tile, which took about 2 minutes. 3 tiles per sq foot, about 18 feet of wall, 3 feet high. That's 3 hours or more of buffing and scrubbing. I shouldn't have to do that. I've been very patient, and all I want is Andrew to fix this. I understand sometimes things go wrong. Just honor your word and fix your work. I'm now looking at having to hire another contractor to come fix this. I would still give Andrew a chance if he was willing but he won't communicate with me. This is now holding us up from moving into the house. The plumbers can't come out to install everything until this is resolved. Good luck if you use him and have a problem. He's not going to put any real effort into fixing it.

So, we decided to do some research and discovered Miracle Method. I called, and Andy came out and provided an estimate the same day. It was extremely reasonable, and he was so pleasant! We scheduled the project, and Ruby finished it today. Our vanity looks brand new! Ruby was so courteous, prompt, and professional. He did a flawless job, and we couldn't be happier! We ended up paying less than a quarter of what we would have paid for a new vanity top yet ended up with one that no one would ever guess isn't new. Plus, nothing ends up in the landfill. Highly recommend!

We highly recommend Brian if you're looking to refresh your front door. Great work, great service, reasonably priced for the quality of work, and we're beyond happy with the results. Brian stood out, as all of his…read morereviews mentioned him specifically being the person doing the work and everyone was pleased with the end result. While it made me nervous that he didn't have a lot of reviews, his reviews read as very genuinely happy customers. Some of the other door refinishing companies either contract the work out with more mixed results or have a team that may change (based on names mentioned in the reviews changing). Brian wasn't the cheapest, but his price was not much more than the lower prices and I wanted to be sure the door came out nicely. I think he was $25 more per side. We had him refinish both sides, so $50 more than his competition. He was booked out for a few weeks, but we didn't mind waiting. The day of the job, he arrived on time and prepared, and he went straight to work. He took his time sanding it down perfectly and it truly shows in the end result. Our door looks great. When I was indecisive about color, he swatched 3 for me on the door to see. Very accommodating. Ultimately, I have no complaints, only praise. We wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

We had assumed that HIGH price= awesome service. Not the case here…read more There was confusion regarding the amount of rolls needed to install our project. Although they claimed to be very familiar with the paper manufacturer, they failed to warn me that the paper size on the link that I sent to them was an atypical size for Schumacher. Since I ended up ordering the paper at a slightly cheaper price elsewhere, and I did not note that there was a difference in the size, I ended up with not as much paper as they wanted me to have. Paper moon stuck by their assertion that I misunderstood their advice on how many rolls to purchase- although they graciously did not charge me to reschedule the install. The project ended up taking a while. And even though we generously stored their tools up against our home exterior for 2-3 days, had loads of wasted paper leftover, AND patched a couple of paint spots that got caught in the crossfire- we STILL got charged FULL PRICE. That said, the high price did ultimately result in good-looking wallpaper. Installer was likable, talented, and precise with the paper. And for that we are grateful.
