Tabitha quickly responded to my inquiries about getting work done on several pieces of furniture. She came to the house and did some initial repairs on the trimwork on a large antique cabinet. Her pricing for the work was reasonable and the quality is excellent. Additionally, I delivered to her a round wooden breakfast table that needed to be stripped and restained and an old bed frame that had a broken spindle between the posts. She completed the work according to the estimated schedule and the quality was excellent. I was very pleased with the work she did for us and will contact her again when other projects come up. She was very professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend her for anyone needing furniture refinishing work or furniture repairs.

First of all, response rate was the quickest and most responsive of any of the companies I reached out to on Yelp. The pricing was about middle of the road compared to others When Alex got to my house he got straight to work, was done Ina mater of hours, and the cleanup was impeccable. He sent over documentation for care and upkeep. All in all, this is the exact kind of quality work you would want from anyone coming to your home and help with anything. I reached out explaining I needed someone urgently and they fit me in their schedule asap. We easily communicated via text which is very important to me because I'm always on the go juggling dozens of contractors at once so it's so helpful when businesses can communicate in a way that works best for the client. The day of, I got texts of when the technician was on the way which was helpful. He was respectful, worked hours straight and my shower ended up looking brand new and far beyond what I could imagine it to look like. I was incredibly impressed. It took them 3+ hours. The finish is nice and shiny. I hope it lasts a long time. Our experience with Advanced Bathtub in 2023 was horrible. Technician D***** maybe had ADD focus issues. In any case, he worked fast and loose and skipped preparation steps. He mixed the epoxy paint wrong, probably too much solvent, such that the curing paint pulled up from inside corners, and retracted and split on horizontal countertop surface. Jeff kept sending him back to re-do, and he kept screwing it up. He worked without a ventilation fan. I'm not sure if he was more mental or more stoned from inhaling solvent. The paint is completely peeling up from the bottom of the tub 18 months later. Evidently the tub surface was not roughened enough prior to paint application. I don't know if the tech even cleaned the surfaces, much less roughened them. He painted right over dirt and dust on the tile.

Our wet bar cabinets were in really bad shape and took a lot of expertise to strip them, repair them and refinish them. They were that awful orange color that Oak tends to age into, plus they were scratched, there was mold in the pores and the wood was very mottled looking. Mauricio and Karla were thorough and quick, did a lot more than I expected, and the results are stunning. The mold and scratches were removed completely, the coloring is consistent throughout and the finish is buttery soft. The formal dining room table was also in bad shape. I had ruined the finish in my attempt to strip other items on top of it, plus it had very detailed carved legs and was made from a fussy veneer. They worked at the table until it was perfect, going well above and beyond the call of duty. The table looks more beautiful than when I first bought it 30+ years ago. The effort is took to get the finish from all the carved details in the legs was huge, and the table is truly gorgeous now. We had already contracted another company to do the countertops in the wet bar and to repair/repaint the wall in the backsplash area of the wet bar. After we met MaKa, we learned they could have done more than just the refinishing. They do so much more than refinishing and painting - they are really a dynamic duo. I cannot thank them enough - they truly are a gifted team!! (I could only post 4 pictures at a time, so I'm writing another review just to post more pictures.)

But I shot over a picture to All Surface, they said they could handle it, they refinished it, and it literally looks like it rolled straight out of the factory (and for roughly 1/4th the price of a replacement). The work is perfect, communications great, the price for the amount of work is very fair, and we are thrilled with the end result. These guys get 5 out of 5 with no need to round up ... I'd give 'em a 6 out of 5 if I could :-)

So I drove it up to Cedar Park and dropped it off, fingered crossed. They estimated it could take 3-4 weeks, but just 8 days later, I got the call that it was ready. They did a great job with the repair. The services aren't cheap, but you're paying for skilled labor and for them to take care with your furniture, which is worth it, of course. Tip - be sure to study their maps of their location on their website before you go. They're at the back of a small warehouse area, and it's a bit of a maze.

It was badly faded and sun damaged, but Cheyne did an outstanding job stripping, cleaning, sealing, staining and applying multiple coats of a clear, UV retardant clear coat. He and the crew were thoroughly professional, courteous and meticulous about the job. He provided a written estimate and final invoice. Rise has full liability and worker's compensation coverage as well as the required bond. There been no action against the CCB license. I would definitely recommend Rise to anyone looking for a contractor to perform painting or wood refinishing work. Cheyney is the only one of three contractors who returned my call, which he did within 10 minutes. He is the ONLY contractor whom I could locate in Deschutes County who is willing to take on this type of project. The door looks better than when it was new! As I wrote above, his work is outstanding. I'm glad the others didn't call back.
