Where to even start! We bought a house in Travisso several years ago and came across Brandy. As you can imagine, after buying a new house it's necessary to watch your expenses. Brandy was instrumental in really showcasing the house and also watching our for our pocketbook!! Over the next few years we would upgrade different sections of the house which culminated with a state of the art smart home theater! How much did we enjoy working with Brandy? We moved to AZ, where we employed her again.! Showing her pictures of the house, we could decide on the theme, colors, etc. We brought her out for a few days for some decorating after having the interior painted. We did the same thing... after the initial design we have been remodeling portions of the house making it more modern, carrying on a largely coastal vibe. We've been doing this over live video chats as we showed her samples of slabs, different colors and so on! We are thrilled with the outcome. We have completed the renovation in the kitchen, guest bath and we are now finishing up the master bath which includes the build out of a walk-in shower. We could not recommend her any more highly! I felt a bit of ripped of. For initial consultation time was wasted on a lot of questions and got charged for extra time. After that the first set of recommendation I received was all easily accessible on Pinterest and got $100 invoice for that also. 10 out of 10 stars! Finding Brandy was a complete lifesaver. We have lived in our home for two years but we had very little in the way of "decor" because the hubs and I never really agreed or thought too much about each small decision. My other half can be a little stubborn and opinionated, but Brandy was somehow able to tame his ideas and at the same time give us something we both loved. She immediately (on the first walk through), nailed both our personalities. Having her as a designer is just so easy. It feels like your friend came over, talked to you about what you needed (in your budget), then went shopping FOR you, brings bags of cool stuff back to you, and lets you choose what you want. Then she sets it up beautifully for you, and then leaves you with this amazing masterpiece. Her rates are very reasonable (too low probably but don't tell her, we don't want her to raise them yet because we aren't done decorating!). Plus, you can pay online in full or over time. Who doesn't love that convenience? She made our home so personal to us...sometimes we just sit and look at everything because we love it so much. Highly recommend. If my evil twin was writing this I would give Brandy at The Missing Piece Design a bad review so she would remain the best kept secret in Austin, but alas, my good twin is writing this so I will tell the truth. I first hired Brandy to help me with some home de-cluttering and organization. She worked extremely fast and within my budget and timeline. For some of the projects she worked as a turn-key expert, working while I was out of town (so nice to come back to an organized garage) and for others we worked together (like decluttering my closet). Tasks that I had dreaded became fun! From small tasks to big projects she is always extremely easy to work with, professional, flexible, has great communications skills and her prices are very affordable. Then she helped me organize my son's bedroom. It is amazing what she did to that room only with moving existing furniture pieces and as far as I can remember I only purchased 1 chair. The rest she organized and decorating using existing items but the impact was great! The room looked bigger, better put together and organized! I am currently remodeling my home and Brandy has also started helping me with personal shopping and decorating for this big project. She takes time to understand my vision and has great ideas. When we were ready to expand my massage business, my imagination went wild and I ended up with a storage unit full of random decor and furnishings. I needed to make magic out of all this beautiful mess. That's when I was referred to Brandy by a friend. I called her and she asked me questions about my business, the look I was going for, my budget, etc. She was very professional and sounded very confident in her ability to get us organized and ready for our Grand Reopening. I have used Brandy several times for her personal shopping services and her research capabilities. I am on a pretty tight budget so she definitely works with me. In particular one project that really impressed me was my headboard project. For several weeks my husband and I were looking for a king size headboard. I finally came to Brandy because I couldn't find one that was attractive and with in our budget. She asked me several questions and then gave me a price quote for creating one. I hadn't even known that was an option. As a back up she also provided several websites that could act as a model for her creation. The icing on the cake was she had a vendor contact that she told me about several days later that could create said headboard quickly and efficiently and beneath my budget. I guess what I am most impressed about with working with Brandy is how efficient, thorough and resourceful she is. I can't say enough good things about Brandy. We moved into a much larger home last year and, while we had some nice furniture and artwork, it felt empty and cold. We had a few ideas but didn't manage to take them anywhere. Brandy did a really good job of listening and understanding our wishes, quickly moving beyond the few ideas we had.
