Amazing experience! As a gift, my husband purchased one of Andrea's packages for me, and the two-step process was fantastic! We started in my home with a color analysis, body-shape analysis and style guide, and then we moved to my closet for the wardrobe edit! It was so helpful! With Andrea's help, I was able to make decisions on what to ditch (a lot! and NO regrets later as there were so many things that did not suit me, or fit me, that I had been hanging onto for who-knows-why), and what to tailor, and what to keep. Andrea is magnificent. I am wearing things from my closet that never worked before with anything. They were in the section of my closet to go to Goodwill. She is a genius at pulling clothes from my closet and putting them together in ways that I would never have thought about. She is detailed enough that I don't even have to think about shoes, handbags and jewelry. I just look at the photos we took and the outfit is all together. It is so nice to have the book of photos, I don't have to remember what I wore out to dinner with whoever because it is written on the back of the photo. DO THIS FOR YOURSELF!!!!!! Just finished my first visit with Andrea and I can not express enough how talented she is. I needed someone with an eye to help put together outfits from pieces I already have in my closet. Also to give me ideas on what to get when I go shopping to bring together outfits with things I already have. We first went through each item deciding whether to keep or get rid of. In a matter of hours with Andrea, I finally had a wardrobe that perfectly reflected my style - a style that for years I had failed to pull off. Before our session, she asked me to remove every piece of clothing from my closet that I did not love. When she came to my house, I literally had one top hanging in my closet. After 2 extremely easy hours of shopping (I didn't know that was possible!), where Andrea picked out several key pieces and had them waiting in the dressing room for me, I finally had a real wardrobe that I loved. During an episode of Queer Eye (if you haven't watched the reboot, treat yourself, it's utterly delightful), I found myself wishing I had a Tan to help me freshen up my wardrobe. I felt really sick of everything in my closet, I didn't really know where to shop to find stuff I would like, and I wanted to learn some ways to look a little more pulled together even when I'm wearing just jeans and a T-shirt. I was getting ready to move to another state and wanted help with a closet purge and wardrobe update. After two hours with Andrea, I had put at least half of my clothes into Goodwill bags. These were all of those items I bought to "hide" my figure ... the bump leftover from pregnancy, the knobby knees, etc. I also was very fond of black, which, as I am aging, Andrea gently reminded me, can actually make me look older when worn by the face. In the bag. (Okay, so I kept a little bit of black). The majority of the give aways, however, were the clothes that I just never seemed to feel good in. I discovered that some hit me in the wrong place and made me look disproportionate ... and so I FELT disproportionate. Some had necklines that were too boyish, others were of knit fabric and styles that were too youthful for my age (think Old Navy). In the bag. I was really worried about letting go of so many clothes. Funny thing is, I never looked back, and have not missed a single piece! And, I feel so much lighter! Andrea was nothing but respectful and encouraging as I made my decisions (and, might I say, fun)! Now, my closet is full of clothes that flatter me. Thanks to Andrea's advise, I'm tucking shirts in, wearing yellow for the first time (lots of compliments), creating a longer leg line, and showing off my figure. I'm having fun getting dressed again. I feel more confident, more age appropriate and professional, and more attractive, especially to myself (which has not been common)!
