Easily the best experience we could've imagined having! Kimberly (sales) and Kyle (install) were fantastic to work with. From our first day visiting the show room and meeting with Kimberly to the last day of Kyle coming to wrap up over a weekend to ensure we hit our time deadline, the team worked as efficiently as possible to make sure we got the best quality product for the price. The crazy attention to detail was great. Kimberly met with us a few times to ensure she was designing the most functional spaces for our lifestyle while keeping it within our budget. We had them do 2 walk-in closets, a sit down vanity, 2 home offices, and a 12' media console. Even the smallest knick or scratch in the cabinet at time of install was caught by the lead installer, Kyle, and sent back to their warehouse to be remade same day. Attention to detail 15/10! Cannot wait to work with this team again!

Beautiful highly recommend this company! They did a built in media/entertainment center in our upstairs living room. Kyle did the installation and he did amazing! And Alexis helped us with our design process, she made it so easy and beautiful. If we need anything else in the future we will definitely be requesting them again, they did great!

Leah Moon was super helpful, developing options to meet our desires and her interior design capabilities were outstanding! work looks fabulous and materials are highest quality. highly recommend!

We had the best experience working with California Closets and specifically with Alexis Barry. Her years of experience were invaluable when it came time to design our closet space and we are very happy with the result. It is also rare that a renovation goes smoothly and in this case we had no issues. Communication was clear and scheduling install was easy. Installers were respectful of our home, communicated clearly and executed efficiently.

The next time I will be better prepared and I'll bring my husband so I can get his opinion on things. Ok so I dropped a star specifically because when I went to check out, I had to wait in line as there was only one person at the registers. The one person in front of me seemed to be doing multiple transactions, that's all fine and well, but to have all the staff come up to me while I'm shopping and then watch as several of them stand around and see me waiting was pretty annoying. The one who was already at the register had to tell another staff member to check me out. It was weird.

I was leaving to go out of town at 7 am with a small tote bag. I was about to put it in my trunk until I realized I had left my car keys inside the house. So, I get my keys and then get into my car parked in the drive way. I hear this weird noise, but did not think anything of it. I was semi-awake, so I didn't give it a second thought. When I got halfway to my destination, my hubs calls me and said my clothes and shoes were on the car pavement in front of the house. You guessed it, I drove right over my tote bag. Amazingly, nothing was damaged other than my shoe box. So off I went to the Container Store to buy a plastic shoe box to replace the one I ran over and blasted to smithereens. Did I learn my lesson...absolutely? Don't take a tote!? No. If you are leaving early in the morning pack your things in the trunk the night before.

I do think my water damage issue where the closet system needed to come off the wall is rare (although not rare in high rise condos) but I am glad it sounds like CbD in the future will do their best to address customer's requests. I think for their effort in trying to do right in this case it should get a better rating than 1.

They really kept me on task/gave direction when I needed to sift through things which was incredibly helpful. Otherwise when I had to work or was busy with my kids they never seem to waste a minute. Moving with two toddlers was completely overwhelming, but they unpacked and got us organized in the new house in just two days. I called them back to organize the garage I'd managed to stuff full with overflow and in just a day they had it all perfectly purged, sorted and stacked. They showed up on-time and worked without stopping aside from a short lunch break (which was always fun getting to chat with them) -which was quite impressive given the slog I put them through. They are delightful and super enjoyable and easy to work with, I cannot recommend this crew highly enough!!

I tended to keep things out in the open so I could see it every day and take an account of what I had. Then I moved in with my entire household of stuff into my grandmother's home which was also full of stuff. To make matters worse I had become a bit of a shopaholic after my accident. I could never remember what I bought so I bought it 4 and 5 times over in many cases. I was tripping over boxes and furniture and my family or friends would no longer come inside to visit. My mom did some research and hired Randi Lyman of A Helping Hand. She couldn't have picked a better person to help me. Randi is very considerate and a positive force even in my life today. She is so supportive and in no way looks down on you regardless of your situation. She is so compassionate and incredibly professional. My house is now organized and de cluttered. We agreed on a date, but be forewarned- Rich has other work commitments, and it took awhile for our schedules to match. Once we agreed, the date was solid and honored. We had nothing on our windows so on her first visit she gave us suggestions on window coverings (and colors) that were complementary throughout the house and laid out where to hang art for each room. She also guided us on replacing furniture pieces that were out of scale for our rooms, which made a huge difference in how the space felt. One thing we really appreciated was how she worked with us: she sent Pinterest boards with curated suggestions for rugs, furniture, and accessories, which let us shop and pick out what we loved within her design direction. Whenever I found something on my own, I could send it to her and she'd let me know if it fit the style we were going for. That collaborative approach made the whole process feel personal rather than having someone just dictate a design to us. She was also hands-on when we needed it, helping with installs like placing a rug underneath the primary king sized bed. We couldn't figure out how to hang pictures in the foyer and she sent a drawing to help us with it. And through it all, she was incredibly responsive, always answering my questions quickly and thoroughly. We couldn't be happier with how our home turned out and would highly recommend Brandy and The Missing Piece to anyone looking for a decorator who's knowledgeable, talented, communicative, and genuinely easy to work with.

My…read moreinitial consult was at their office where I met Briana and was my point of contact throughout the entire process. We were building a new home and having had custom closets before, I didn't want to do without. I was able to see some of the finished work as well as some of the work being built and it's a very professional set up. Briana made the entire process effortless on my part. Fortunately, I had all the drawings from the house so she was able to come up with a rough idea of what would work based up on my needs. I had pictures from some previous closet shelving in my prior home and she was able to use that to configure something similar since I liked what I had before. Just a note, the other drawers I had installed was back in California which is why I didn't go back to them. The next step was for Briana to physically come out to the construction site to measure so she could come up with the final design and estimate. I don't even think I waited a day to get the estimate. Super efficient! They took a 50% deposit and there was a bit of lead time but this wasn't a problem since the house was going to take some time to construct. I put Briana in touch with my builder and after that, they mostly coordinated installation together so didn't have to work around two people's schedules. We had hard wood floors installed so there was some concern about the installation and any damage to the new walls/floors. But other than new drawers and shelving... you would never know they were even there. They even made special adjustments based upon what we wanted. I'm a big fan of wooden dowels to hang from instead of metal bars that typically come with custom built closets. I supplied the wooden dowels and cups to hold the dowels and they installed it all. After the installation, we noticed one drawer didn't seem to ride on a rail properly. I brought it up to Briana and Holly and they acted immediately to get someone up and repair the one rail. Out of more than 30 drawers, just one had a rail that didn't work correctly, but they replaced it instantly and there have been no further issues. Custom closets are a big investment, but if you have ever had them before... you'll never again do without. And they are well worth the money! We hope to construct another home in the future and without hesitation I will come back to Briana and Holly. They were always available and often made me feel like I was the only client. Anytime I had a question, they were quick to respond. So easy to work with and quality work!

He did an amazing…read morejob and went above and beyond to make sure everything - absolutely everything, was perfect and to our liking. I was in awe of his attention to detail, the care he showed from the beginning of the process to the very end and the precision with which everything was executed. A+ indeed!!! Here is the whole story for those interested: We are in the process of bringing our whole house into the 21st century and we decided to start with the hardest, but probably most exciting - our kitchen. It took several months for us to come up with the design and pick the cabinets. We knew we would most likely pick IKEA cabinets as they are about the only place in town that offers great modern-looking cabinets. We looked at Lowes, Home Depot and Cabinets to Go, just to check them off the list and decided to go with IKEA in the end, just as we thought we would. Another reason we went with IKEA was because they offer an online kitchen planning tool where you can do your layout and see how everything fits and IKEA will even verify your plan and create a shopping list for you so you order everything that's needed. We also liked IKEA's price transparency - you make your plan, you pick your cabinets and the program calculates the total price of your kitchen for you. We even thought we would get the countertop there and have everything installed by IKEA, to make the process super easy and simple. So once we designed the kitchen, picked our cabinets and were ready to move forward with installation, it turned out not everything was that simple. IKEA told us that we would not be able to get what we wanted because they hardly do any customizations - they don't cut cabinets, they don't cut doors, they wouldn't put a panel we wanted on one of the kitchen walls and they wouldn't even adjust an insert for a 12" cabinet to have one shelf instead of two! And every time we talked to an IKEA rep they told us a different thing! We were getting frustrated and after several weeks of trying to make adjustments and make compromises, we decided that we need to go with plan B - find someone else to install our kitchen. While starting looking for someone else, I remembered that one of my friends, who had her kitchen done recently, highly recommended Aplus. I found the phone number and called. I left a message and Alex promptly returned my call. He came over that same week to look at the space and I immediately had a good feeling about him. I emailed him the kitchen plan and he provided a quote a few days later. The quote was comparable to IKEA price-wise, but we were getting everything we wanted and more, so I told Alex that we, of course, are going to pick APlus! Installation was very smooth and I felt like it was more of a collaboration than a hired contractor doing an installation. I told Alex that there were some things I was not sure about and wanted to see how each version would look before deciding on the final one and Alex was more than happy to accommodate and he provided lots of invaluable advice, too. He also provided extra services per our request. We wanted to install laminate on all three walls in the kitchen to serve as backsplash and when I told him that I had trouble finding someone to do it, he agreed to install it and it looks perfect! He also installed the exhaust hood - and it's perfect, of course. I tell you - we would hire Alex to do EVERYTHING he would agree to do with the rest of the remodel - that's how much we trust him and appreciate the quality of his work. I know I am going to sound very sentimental when I say this, but I truly feel that he is a rare gem that we were lucky to find. The love and care he puts into his work is absolutely priceless!
