We are having to delay our remodeling project till next year, so I will update this review with…read moremore info when we move forward, but Teamwork Home Designs already deserves a resounding 5 Stars, and is absolutely who we would want to move forward with. Avi was an absolutely delight. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. Very thoughtful approach in our initial meeting. So many images from their highly impressive portfolio to help us think through options. Excellent examples of communication and workflow from previous projects. Instantly ready to share previous customers we could reach out to for references. A really good balance between sharing his ideas for our project, but also really listening to our feedback on what we wanted/invisoned. All the right insights for how to keep us in budget, and very generous with (we can add this/that for little/no extra costs since we're already doing XYZ). We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. Can't wait to work with them in the future.

My experience with this company was disappointing. Before hiring, I recommend asking to speak with…read moreprior clients and reviewing completed projects similar to the scope of work you are considering. The team appeared comfortable working on bathroom renovations; however, the shower diverter was not installed correctly, which caused the handle to be improperly aligned. We later hired a licensed plumber to inspect and correct the issue. Overall, the quality of work did not meet our expectations. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.

We were looking into a bathroom remodel and got 3 different quotes. We had the best rapport with Kristi but her quote came in higher than the others (not by a huge amount but significant enough for us to debate). In the end, since we'd had previous projects where we went with cost savings and then weren't 100% satisfied after, we picked Fix It Chick. Definitely the right decision! The extra cost she estimated at the beginning just proved her in depth knowledge of the whole project and the excellence they'd be providing throughout. All of her contractors were great and the quality of their work was amazing. We thought we had a good eye for detail but still missed little things she spotted during her various walk throughs to have her team fix. I also really appreciated her initial consultations. We didn't have a very specific design vision and she really helped bring our general idea to life, choosing a handful of options for us to pick from in regards to tile, furniture, lighting, etc. She even solved a big-to-me problem in our bathroom of wanting to have our laundry hidden. She found shelving that had pull out hampers that were seamlessly integrated and the perfect size. We will definitely be going back to Kristi first for any future remodeling projects!

I told her the look I was going for and she delivered way above my expectations. My house was absolutely stunning. Her advise on which rooms to stage and which to leave empty was spot on. She adds so many extra details to each room that other stagers just don't do. Staging a house makes ALL the difference when selling a home. Jackie is much more than a home stager, she is clearly a professional interior designer. We needed somebody who could be on site and make decisions with little direct guidance. Then, being the one-stop-shop she is, Denise and her team were able to supervise the clean-up, do the required touch up of paint and such, assemble new furniture pieces, and provide and install all the original art needed to make the place a show stopper. We were super satisfied with the results and feel only an approach like Denise's could have got this done on time and on budget!

In short, she did an amazing job and the end result was beyond our expectations. She was able to keep us right at budget and the estimated 8 weeks ended up only being 6 weeks!! She works very closely with a construction company and had those "hard to handle conversations" when they were needed. We went through several different living room/kitchen designs. I knew aspects of what I wanted but couldn't quite picture it, and she nailed it on our 3rd design! We completely moved our kitchen and opened it up to flow into the living area seemlessly. We also had a "master bathroom" with the sink actually in our bedroom ( 70's style I guess ) and she closed it off and gave us a beautiful oversized shower with a cool tile design. Our second bathroom wasn't optimal, with the door almost grazing the bath/shower when it was open, making it just a really tight fit, so she moved it and rearranged where the sink and tub are. Its perfect and beautiful! She knew our style from helping us decorate a few rooms in our previous home, so she nailed the design aspect for us from the gitco! We love our home, and we loved working with April, and could not recommend her more highly!!!
