In addition to the under cabinet lighting they threw in completely new can lights as well. The final result looks phenomenal, and our only regret is not hiring them earlier! There are so many horror stories about kitchen remodels out there but I can say that none of them were true here. My Experience With Teamwork Home Designs in Austin:…read more I'm sharing this because I wish someone had shared a review like this with me before I started my full-home remodel with Teamwork Home Designs. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, we were promised a lot, but as the project moved forward, the communication became difficult and, more importantly, I felt there was a serious lack of transparency when it came to pricing. We worked with Avi, who told us he was the owner of the company and explained that because of that, he could get us very good pricing. We trusted that and moved forward with the company. Later, through a friend who works with the company as a vendor, I was shown invoices related to our project. What really shocked me was the difference between what the company paid for certain materials and what we were being charged. For example, I was shown an invoice showing approximately $7,000 for our kitchen cabinetry, while we were being charged around $33,000 for the same cabinetry. I completely understand that a remodeling company needs to make a profit. A reasonable markup for managing, coordinating, and providing a project is understandable. But seeing a difference like this was extremely difficult for me to accept, especially when we were led to believe we were receiving very competitive pricing. For me, this ultimately became an issue of trust and transparency. When I questioned the situation and wanted to cancel the contract, the conversation became even more uncomfortable. We were told that the company would sue us and that we could not simply cancel. At one point, after expressing how betrayed and upset I felt about what I had discovered, we were offered $7,000 and additional items at no charge if we agreed not to leave a negative review. We seriously considered that offer, but ultimately decided that it was more important to share our experience honestly. I'm not writing this to tell anyone what decision to make. I'm writing it so that other homeowners can do their own due diligence, ask for detailed pricing, understand material costs and markups, and make sure everything is transparent before signing a contract. A full-home remodel is a huge investment, and for me, trust, honesty, and transparency are just as important as the quality of the work. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering Teamwork Home Designs to ask a lot of questions, get multiple estimates, and carefully review the numbers before moving forward. This was a very stressful and disappointing experience for me and my husband, Joe, and I hope sharing it helps another homeowner avoid going through the same thing.

He ordered the wrong size- despite taking the measurements himself. He promised to return within a few days by making the corrected door himself and never did. Since then, Corey has provided excuse after excuse, claiming he was busy with other jobs, watching his children, or "juggling a lot." Myself and my spouse message -none which were disrespectful or profane but were clear and honest about how disappointed, unacceptable and what our next steps were. Instead of being professional, Corey chose to respond with a dismissive attitude, making it clear he believes he's in the right and will complete the job only on his terms, not the customers. He even stated, "he would get to me when he is damn ready"- a completely unprofessional and disrespectful response after being paid in full and failing to deliver. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. When you commit to a job, you finish it. A paying customer should not be forced to compete with your personal life, other projects, or his poor planning. His behavior reflects clear signs of a pattern -- starting jobs, collecting payment, then disappearing without proper follow-through. It's also evident that he takes on more work than he can handle and lacks the integrity to communicate or complete what he starts. This is not a one-off situation -- he's done this before I found a Facebook post warning to Leander neighbors from a Atx Kris discribing just about the same behavior.
