He is experienced, knowledgeable, direct and consistently clear in his communication. He responded and resolved promptly to every question and concern we had and followed through on every promise, guiding the project smoothly from start to finish. We also want to give a special thank‑you to Dennis and Andrea, whose hard work, punctuality, and craftsmanship made a huge difference. They approached every task with care and professionalism, and it truly shows in the final results. Our bathrooms look beautiful, and the quality of the craftsmanship and the finishing exceeded our expectations. It would not have been possible without Anton's hard work, guidance and eye for details. We have heard so many horror stories involving contractors. We are glad we have found Teamwork Home Design and Anton Zisman. Anton made home remodel a very pleasant experience. Thank you Anton for all your help and the extra hard work.

The team appeared comfortable working on bathroom renovations; however, the shower diverter was not installed correctly, which caused the handle to be improperly aligned. We later hired a licensed plumber to inspect and correct the issue. Overall, the quality of work did not meet our expectations. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.

She was clear with me regarding project timeline, and the binder she provided with renderings (exactly like the final look, btw) was a huge help. She operates like a GC, managing budget, subs and scheduling, and nothing was missed. The quality of the floors, furnishings, walls is insane. Her company has grown quickly, so she can't always take on new clients, but she is 100 percent worth the wait. All the visuals and management she provided made everything feel simple on my end. I could never have done any of it on my own. The time, money and stress it has saved me is immeasurable and I'm forever grateful. And the design is phenomenal! Stunning. My small home has been elevated to everything I ever wanted it to be. Comfortable but elegant, and always-always interesting and inspiring. She has some CRAZY ability to look at your living space and turn it into functional art and that's not all. In installation, Pablo went above and beyond in making our sink fit in the master bathroom--we had bought what we thought was the right dimensions, but when he pulled out the old one it was flat in back, instead of oval all around. He said he could try to cut it but it might break. We were fine with that risk--and he did a great job. Impressive.

My wife and I had new quartz slabs installed for our kitchen countertops, kitchen backsplash, and…read morebathroom countertop & backsplash. All of the quartz was fabricated and installed by Toluca. This was our first time working on such a project, and it was not cheap. Communicating with Nancy was great from the beginning to the end. She helped answer all of the questions and concerns that came up over a 6 week period while we shopped several suppliers, fabricators, and installers in North Austin. Toluca's quotes were the most competitive by far, and when we thought we had finally chosen our quartz material, Nancy suggested an alternative that was of similar quality and design but more affordable. It was an excellent suggestion, and we went with it. Installation took 2 days and was a very labor-intensive, DUSTY process. Fortunately we weren't living in our home during the installation. Unfortunately, there were a couple major mistakes made. We felt disappointed and immediately communicated the problems to Nancy the next day (Friday before Memorial Day). Nancy assured us that she would share our concerns during a large meeting that same day and that Toluca would resolve the issues. Well, Toluca came out on the following Monday, Memorial Day, to make things right. The final result turned out exactly as we had planned, and we are very pleased with the results. I will note that their installation team could have been more professional by cleaning up after themselves instead of leaving trash and tools behind, and this was also mentioned to Toluca. However, I have to give Toluca credit for standing up to their mistakes and following through to make sure we felt completely satisfied. They certainly did that in several ways, and we appreciate them. I want to give Honorato a shout out because he was enjoyable to interact with, and he helped build my confidence in Toluca. He came out twice for the initial and final measurements before the install, and he came out a third time on Memorial Day to fix the major concerns and a fourth time to fine tune a hole cut that we needed to enlarge. We would consider Toluca again for the future, and we recommend researching them for your countertop project.

I wanted to hire UB Kitchens as they seemed legit. They met with me about my kitchen gut/remodel…read morejob and gave me a quote of $25k. I really liked their customer service and the high quality of their cabinets. Unfortunately, as my house was getting close to completion, I flew in to meet in person to work on the kitchen project and they quoted me $66k now. I understand prices are increasing during the pandemic but not nearly triple. It looks like on top of the price increases, they may have counted the wrong number of cabinets needed for the project. I tried to work with them cause I wanted it to work out but ultimately, I would have had to make too many sacrifices to fit the budget such as not doing some upper cabinets and doing open shelving instead. In making these edits, they could get it down to $45k, still double the original quote and with too many sacrifices. If I calculate cabinets, counters, GC work, etc, the kitchen would be well over $100k. For that price, you should just go with a fully custom kitchen company. If I wasn't building a new house, building out a big pool and deck and all these other incredibly expensive projects, I would have liked to go with UB, but their pricing was more than I think I'd worth for semi custom

***UPDATE*** I received a call from either the manager or…read morethe owner saying that they apologized for what happened. They explained that they were given wrong measurements for the elevator (not true) and that their delivery team never said anything about it not fitting in the hallways. (also not true) It was a combative insincere apology. I never hinted it was a "scam" but much more likely their incompetence that cost us $400. He then went on to say that I was at fault for spending the $400 and that I could have just returned the sectional. Why would I return something that we really liked and wanted and that ACTUALLY FIT? Yes it's about the $400 that we never needed to spend that we did because we we're lied to by one of the representatives of your company. It's the principal. The insincere apology was insulting. ****ORIGINAL MESSAGE**** We used John-William Interiors about 2 years ago to purchase a Bracci Living Sectional that we fell in love with at the store for our new condo at the Spring Condominium in downtown Austin. The delivery of our sectional took about a month or so, which we were totally fine with as we understood that furniture takes time for shipping and delivery especially with higher end products. When it came time for delivery, the delivery guys were very quick to tell us that a portion of the sectional wouldn't make it through the hallway and they even pulled out their measuring tape to try and prove it. As we aren't movers, we took their word for it and only half of the sectional was delivered. We ended up having to hire a Specialty Delivery company which we paid over $400 to have them lift it with a pully system over a wall from the pool deck/parking garage on the level below to avoid using the hallways. We finally had our full sectional and we're ecstatic at how amazing it was. Comfortable, fine Italian leather, fit the space perfectly, what more could we ask for. Here is where the problem was; Fast forward to last week. We were now moving out of the building as we sold our condo. We hired a great local moving company who had 2 guys, I'd say they were in their early 20's. They took the sectional, right through the hallways, the same ones that John-William Interiors said they couldn't deliver it through, and right into the elevator and right through the lobby hallway and right into their truck. No problem whatsoever. I mean, it literally took them less than 5 minutes to get it out of our unit, through the hallways, into the elevator, through the lobby hallway and right into the truck. We were not only lied to by John-William Interiors, we were out $400 for no reason at all. They never made the attempt to fully deliver the sectional, I asked them to try and they said it wouldn't fit so they weren't going to try and they even made me go to the warehouse to pick it up since they said they couldn't leave it with me. We paid well over $7,000 for this sectional with delivery and they didn't credit us a thing. They lied to us and made us pay another company knowing exactly what we were paying the Specialty company to do by hauling it over a wall from a level below our patio. What a disgusting, unethical company to do something like this. Maybe they ordered a sectional larger than we wanted? Maybe they ordered the wrong sectional and were too worried to be honest with us? Who knows? But to have your IN-HOUSE DELIVERY TEAM tell us it wouldn't fit and then knowingly let us hire a specialty mover to deliver it over a wall and have us WASTE $400 for no reason, is inexcusable. Stay as far away from these unethical people. How horrible of a business owner do you have to be to allow for this to go on. Looking back at it, it was pretty obvious that they knew it would fit since when I went back to return their moving blankets, (because we are good people even though they said it was unnecessary to bring them back) the sales person we dealt with said something along the lines of "You really had to get that in there." and I commented to my wife right afterwards that he almost sounded upset when he said it. I will be posting this review everywhere I can and I promise to tell this story to everyone that I know. Again, stay very very far away from this place. They lie and cost us money for whatever reasons they had instead of doing the right thing and making the delivery. I guess they thought that we would be there long enough and move it out the same way we brought it in. 2 young men used almost no effort to get it out after you wouldn't even allow your crew to try even with us pleading for you to do so. Disgusting! P.S. - We have the movers who moved it out if anyone from John-William Interiors doesn't believe the story and they will confirm that it went out with no issues whatsoever. If you want to do the right thing, reimburse us. Otherwise, you will be known as unethical forever.

Loved our experience with The Fix It Chick! Kristi and her entire team were wonderful: pleasant,…read moreskilled, top tier professionals. We were looking into a bathroom remodel and got 3 different quotes. We had the best rapport with Kristi but her quote came in higher than the others (not by a huge amount but significant enough for us to debate). In the end, since we'd had previous projects where we went with cost savings and then weren't 100% satisfied after, we picked Fix It Chick. Definitely the right decision! The extra cost she estimated at the beginning just proved her in depth knowledge of the whole project and the excellence they'd be providing throughout. All of her contractors were great and the quality of their work was amazing. We thought we had a good eye for detail but still missed little things she spotted during her various walk throughs to have her team fix. I also really appreciated her initial consultations. We didn't have a very specific design vision and she really helped bring our general idea to life, choosing a handful of options for us to pick from in regards to tile, furniture, lighting, etc. She even solved a big-to-me problem in our bathroom of wanting to have our laundry hidden. She found shelving that had pull out hampers that were seamlessly integrated and the perfect size. We will definitely be going back to Kristi first for any future remodeling projects!

We contacted Kristi and a few other contractors to get quotes and ideas for our main bathroom…read moreremodel. We are so happy we chose her for this project. Budget/Quote-- Entire project cost was very close (within a few dollars) of the original quote and completed within the expected timeline. The only hiccup was when one of the components significantly rose in price from the custom supplier during the 2 weeks since Kristi made the quote. She then found a similar product online for a price within our budget. Tradespeople-- Everyone who was here was respectful of our space (having to move throughout most of the house to reach the bathroom) and cleaned up after themselves. They did high-quality work, which Kristi inspected regularly. Besides that, everyone was friendly and made us feel comfortable. Choices-- We told Kristi we had some ideas for style and design, so she asked for some inspiration photos. This guided us through choosing every component. When we were unsure, we asked for her opinion to help us decide. For many things, like the exhaust fan, toilet, and wafer lights, Kristi chose for us and got us quality products she'd used before and saved us from Choice Overload. The end result-- We are so happy with the bathroom now. It is not only beautiful, but also so much more functional than before. Working with Kristi-- Some reviewers said it took a while to get an appointment for a quote. I'm 100% OK with that. It shows that Kristi has plenty of business because she's good at what she does. This was a significant project for our home. Waiting for the right thing is worth it. Beyond that, Kristi was in constant communication with us throughout every stage. I appreciated her organization, such as the materials list and overview of the work by weeks, as well as a rundown of what work would be done each day M-F. About 10 years ago I did another major bathroom redo at a previous home. The contractor did not do any of this. There would be days when no one showed up to do any work, we never knew what was happening, and we had to constantly reach out to him and ask what was going on. Doing a major project on your home is inherently stressful; however, working with Kristi greatly minimized it.
