Her company has grown quickly, so she can't always take on new clients, but she is 100 percent worth the wait. All the visuals and management she provided made everything feel simple on my end. Once my wife and I purchased a new home in NW Austin we knew we were going to need help. We wanted our new home to reflect our style. The problem is that sometimes you have good taste but struggle to put it all together. I called Jill and she sent us Kelli Presses, a member of the Nine Design team. She is fantastic! Kelli arrived at our new home, took a tour, and immediately started listening to our thoughts regarding our aesthetic. The first thing Kelli did was help us rearrange our furniture in our living room. We spend most of our time in this room and she nailed it. Over the course of a few weeks Kelli helped us transform our entire house. From room layout to paint color to window treatments to accessorizing. My favorite thing about Kelli, besides her gift of design, was that she understood our budget and never pushed us to spend money unnecessarily. As a matter of fact, there were a few times she offered "do it yourself" ways of saving money for the same result/impact. We're now in the final stages and our house looks amazing. We love to entertain and our friends and neighbors are blown away by the transformation. We give Kelli and Nine Design all the credit. Call Nine Design if you have any design needs. We needed help with our entire house. You may only need help with one room. Or maybe you need a color consultation for painting. They do it all.

She managed everything from design to construction to decor and SO much more! It was important to me to have a stress-free experience and to be able to keep my normal day-to-day work routine while these projects were being executed. The result was fantastic! The home looks better than I could have ever imagined and was completed on time and within budget. I highly recommend Jessica and her team! Choosing a designer was my first step. And I honestly didn't know what a designer was yet but I knew I was going to need help. I interviewed a few others first but felt I was being buttered up to a sale rather than given real answers and advise. Jessica arrived at my home on time. She was straight forward with me from the get-go and was very pleasant to communicate with. She was extremely professional and explained which of my ideas would and wouldn't be cohesive to my goals, style and budget. She gave suggestions that I could have never come up with on my own. And she was honest about what unforeseen problems and expenses could arise while working with certain materials, electrical capacity and construction. Having this information up front from her built a trust that is priceless. Jessica is an engineer and an artist! In my opinion, her ability to balance the practical with the aesthetic sets her above all other designers. It takes a very unique mind to handle both concepts well. Not to mention management, delegation and holding each contractor and retailer responsible. All done with easy and grace making your project seem like a piece of cake! And to top it all off, I would have spent so much more on this remodel if I hadn't had Jessica to oversee the ordering, installation and maintenance. Hiring Jessica not only saved me money and time, it was also a very exciting and fun experience for me. I literally can't wait to hire her again!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Janice Hanks of Next Level Austin. Next Level Austin…read morespecializes in interior (and exterior) design in home and office remodeling and in new construction. My husband and I worked with Janice four years ago with a complete remodel of the 1980s home we bought in central Austin, which had "great bones" but was very dated and needed a total overhaul. (Peach colored padded raw silk walls in the formal dining room, anyone?) Janice was involved in every decision -- from paint colors to flooring (new wood floors, tile and carpet throughout the entire house), lighting, plumbing fixtures, new granite countertops, down to helping me select new cabinet hardware for the entire house. The kitchen was a major part of the project -- walls were moved, an island added, new appliances, new granite countertops, and many other changes. We had a tight timeline since we were still living in our previous house, which we had already sold, and the buyers wanted to move in. We worked with a fabulous contractor and between Janice and our contractor, we got the entire project completed in less than three months. We updated the three bathrooms, but we left the old, small shower and bathtub (which we never used) in the master bathroom. Late last year, we decided that we were ready to do a total remodel of the master bathroom, with the main goal to get rid of the old shower and turn the bathtub space into a large, walk-in shower. We contacted Janice again and worked with her to design the new bathroom (the old bathroom was completely gutted). As with the prior remodel, she thought of wonderful little touches that really made the new bathroom gorgeous; things I would not have thought of. She helped us select the paint and tile and made sure everything pulled together seamlessly. Every time I walk into it, I can't believe how beautifully it turned out! Janice is truly gifted, and her ability to choose colors and textures is phenomenal. She is able to look at a dated house or room and visualize what it *can* look like; something I have a hard time doing. She works with her clients to learn their tastes and style, and she then pulls it all together to create a space that is perfect for the client, whether the client's taste is classic, modern or something in between. I would recommend Janice Hanks and Next Level Austin to anyone who needs assistance with design. Check out the website; there are many gorgeous photos of her work (including some of my kitchen and new bathroom!).

Where do I even start? I have worked with Janice on numerous occasions/homes, from paint colors and staging to "whole house" top to bottom projects. She has been a game changer for my business and my own home. I am a Realtor, and when I bring Janice into a listing, I assist my sellers in selling higher and faster than the other homes in the neighborhood. Anything she touches turns to art, and she has left my clients speechless by her results. On a recent listing, I sat down with an amazing client who said "We hate this house- get us out of here". The home needed a new roof, new paint, and updating everywhere and would be considered a "handyman's special" if we listed- and we had a very small remodel budget. We also needed to sell this home high to get the seller what she needed out. I immediately called Next Level Austin. Janice picked out roof singles, exterior paint, interior paint, staging, door handles, and everything in between. With my listing strategy and Janice's magic, we were able to list high and receive 3 full priced offers immediately. The only hiccup was when the seller fell back in love with her home after she was under contract with a buyer- Janice is that good! I promised her we could use Janice on her new home when she invests in one, and we both got excited. Working with Janice is a blast! I did the same thing at my house. Having the wrong "feel" in your home is frustrating. I called Janice in and did whatever she said. I trust her this much. My home feels like a showcase, and my investment was less than half of what I expected it to be. Janice is the best in her field and works with your budget. Working with her pays itself back twenty fold- I tell my clients when we are focused on their bottom line, we cannot afford NOT to call Janice- and I mean it.

The other two didn't hear anything I said and we ended up having to repaint a room because the suggestion was so bad. Elizabeth is an excellent listener. That seems to be the quality most important to me. First, she responded to my request for information within an hour. She came this morning for an hour and comped the first 30 min. as an introductory consult. I received a suggest plan and invoice within 30 minutes of her departure. Being this organized gave me the sense that any work she did for us would be similarly organized, no chaos. She went by CRG countertops which was on the other end of town for her and got a sample of the quartz we were considering and got a large sample we could use to solve my dilemma: use backsplash or not? She saw how the rest of the house was eclectic and quickly narrowed down how to make the new counters and cabinets fit stylistically with the rest of the area. She's direct and efficient and fast. She didn't throw a lot of suggestions at me that just confuse me with too many options. Kept it simple. Affirmed that my favorite ones indeed were well coordinated, discouraged a few, told me which were too had to keep clean and gave me some things to consider that I would have not known to think about otherwise. She is professional and easy to talk to. She won't recommend a painter until they have painted a room in her house so she can see their work. I found her help to be exactly what I was looking for. I will be hiring her to determine paint colors when we are ready to re-paint. Thank you Elizabeth!

My mom walked in and instantly found the piece she had in her mind all this time. We also found some really nice silk palms and a leather ottoman to finish out the room. As it turns out, the piece of furniture was too big to fit in a Suburban so we had to grab a U-Haul. It was near closing time, but Scott (the Scott in Heather Scott Home) told us he would gladly wait for us to return and help load it. We were really concerned about getting such a large piece of furniture out of the trailer once we got to the lake but the way Scott secured it and positioned it we were able to get it on a furniture dolly and inside in the blink of an eye. Everything we bought was perfect! It totally modernized the space while keeping within the mid century ranch vibe. The girls at the store also offered vendor information for the company who stained their concrete and called me a few days later with information on a Benjamin Moore paint color that I was interested in.
