I booked my appointment online very late at night and entered my choices for days/times. Next day I received a response with what was available based on my choices. There were a couple of slots available for that day and the next but waited until today. I was a bit nervous booking an appointment because I have had some terrible experiences last few months after my good friend/stylist had to stop to care for her 3 gorgeous babies. It was so bad I just decided to cut my own hair. Yea, that's pretty bad though I must say I did a pretty fair job thanks to my husband who helped straighten out the back a little :) So I checked out the reviews, crossed my fingers and held my breath because I booked the appointment for a time right before my shift started. So I had NO time to "fix it" before heading in to work. Charlotte had just finished up with a client as I walked in. She was very friendly, told me to have a seat so she could sweep and then welcomed me over to her seat. She was very attentive and receptive to what I wanted done. She told me what she would be doing and I closed my eyes and and thought happy thoughts as she massaged my head during the hair washing and then again, during the start of the hair cutting. She knew I was a little apprehensive so she kept me talking and seemed very genuine when she asked me questions about my kids, and life etc. As she worked she asked me what I thought and made sure that's what I wanted. Very sweet girl. When she was done I asked her to add a little volume to the top of my flat head and without hesitation she did that and once she was all done, I LOVED it! Very happy with Charlotte who by the way added me to her Monday schedule when it's super difficult to find someone! Also very happy with Jenn who was very prompt in returning my email. She also worked with my schedule because I work nights and I need the latest appointment available so I'm sure she had to coordinate with Charlotte. I had to change one of my choices because I went out on a date with my husband and she was sweet telling me to have a great night with him. She could have just ignored that but she chose to add a little bit of personality to what could have been a very impersonal email. That says a lot to me. I went to Blush This Salon to have some dimension added to an all over color I had gotten somewhere else a week before. I am getting married in a couple of weeks and wanted something low-maintenance, more natural and something that wasn't so dark against my face. My appointment was with Claudia. I sat in the chair and explained to, and showed her pictures of what I wanted. I basically walked in with an all-over dark brown color and needed some lighter pieces to make it look more natural for my wedding. I have never really liked highlights on me because I am not a fan of blonde "streaks". I like hair that looks as natural as possible. Claudia listened to what I was wanting and went over what she thought would work for me, which ended up being low volume highlights underneath (gave me very pretty caramel colored highlights), that she placed diagonally to give it a more natural look and then she painted some pieces in to give my ends a "sun-kissed" look. I sat in the chair for a few hours, but the end result was SO worth it! I am in love with my new hair and am so thankful I found Claudia to help me out before my wedding! read more

I'm in the minority of people who don't believe a minor trim to all one length shoulder length hair should cost the same as a real haircut--I took my teenage daughter here for a trim--the girl cut off less then a half inch, was done in 10 minutes, and charged me $50. It looked great, but that is very expensive for that service. If the prices were more reasonable, I'd return. read more

I loved my experience here! My stylist was Claudia and she did an amazing job! When I first arrived Claudia took the time to discuss what I wanted and to look at some pictures that I had for ideas. I wanted a balayage color and trim with the hopes that it would look very natural, almost sun kissed hair. Claudia definitely achieved what I wanted! I have super thick hair which made it take a little longer than she had thought, but I never felt like she was rushing through the cut or color. Overall my experience was great with all the stylists I talked to. The owner was getting lunch for all the stylists and even offered to grab me something to eat as well... super sweet! I don't think your reviews add any value to the businesses. I'll apologize ahead of time for my log review. But seriously, the best color, cut, style, and service I have ever encountered. I'm super particular when it comes to my hair. I can be a bit over bearing, pretentious, anxious, etc. I mean it's my hair! I've been to numerous high end salons around cedar park and Austin and never have I been WOW'd like today. First I emailed them from their website requesting an appointment, within 2 days Jen got back to me with availability. (I know they can book out a few weeks in advance, especially weekends so call ahead.) They were gracious enough to fit me in short notice. I was given an appointment with Cassidee. I was a little anxious at first - only saw one Yelp review for her, and she wasn't pictures on their website (or I couldn't find her) and when I showed up she looked so young. However "don't judge a book by its cover", and remember "looks can be deceiving"! Day of the appointment arrived to the salon. It's so cute inside - Kendra Scott, freshly picked moccasins, other jewelry and small gifts. Greeted right away by Jen who offered me a nice cup of coffee to get the morning started. I sat down with Cassidee and told her about my crappy salon experiences and ridiculous prices I've paid in the past. She talked me through what she wanted to do, and showed me pic of how it might look. She seemed like she knew what was doing so I trusted her 110%. The finished product was amazing! I left feeling fab. Fresh cut, amazing color, great blow out and style. Jen kept checking on me making sure I didn't need water or more coffee. All the girls were so nice and approachable (some salons can be stuffy). I even spoke with Brandi for a bit and I must agree with her - she's got the best girls in town! Sorry for them though - they are now stuck with me as a client ;) I usually don't rave about salons, but I wanted to give Cassidee the credit she deserves and Brandi as well for owning and operating a great small business in Cedar park. My mom and I both had appointments, and both left completely happy with hair we love. Stylists Claudia and Jennifer were both talented and kind. Claudia gave me a very detailed color consultation, which was extremely refreshing, and as another reviewer noted she pays attention to detail and really knows hair. I am a pale, light haired girl who likes to go dark - Claudia gave me a red/brown that compliments my eyes and skin tone. I am super picky about my hair, and would recommend Claudia to anyone! I recently moved to Cedar Park from NJ and took my time finding a new salon, I'm glad I did!! I called and lucked out, they had an appointment available later that day. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was greeted promptly, then told that Jennifer would be with me momentarily. I waited less than 10 minutes. My hair was very damaged from prior over-processing, an orangish/ unattractive bronde, just plain brassy. Jennifer was easy to talk to, she listened to what I described and viewed my Pinterest photos without pretense. She explained everything that she was going to do and took the time to make sure I understood and was comfortable. When I said that I only wanted a quarter of an inch off she only cut a quarter of an inch-no more which I really appreciate. Wow, After reading the retorts to other's complaints , I am quite honestly almost afraid to say anything .I I had my hair cut and highlights done. I wont mention the name of the stylist , because maybe she was having an off day. She did not listen to what I wanted , as I wanted very chunky highlights , and she made them thin and natural... not what I wanted. The cut was average, no complaints there , but it was just a blunt cut , no layers , very easy . The bill came to over $200 !! I really feel like for what I received the price was outrageous. All I can say is... Brandi, you're amazing! I was recommended to this salon by a friend of mine and I am SO glad I listened! I started going to Brandi for haircuts and color/ highlights and she is SO good at what she does! She is the only person that does my hair, and I actually trust her input! How do you know when you have a great stylist? When you tell her "Do whatever you think!" and it always comes out looking awesome! She even does event hair and make-up, and yes, it's great also! Even after moving away I've continued to make the three hour drive every time I need a cut and color because when you've found the best, you make time and effort to keep getting that level of care and expertise. Not only does my hair look great after my appointment, but Brandi has taught me the best ways to take care of my hair, so during the time I've been her client my hair has completely changed for the better and now I get compliments all the time. I have difficult hair to work with, and after a cut/style I usually leave a salon disappointed in the results, especially later when I try to style my hair myself. Not so with my new hairstyle from Victoria. First off the woman who did my hair didn't event tell me her name. She was in a hurry to get off of work because my apt was on a Saturday around 2 and they closed at 4. She was in a hurry to finish so she wouldn't be late for her plans. She ended up butchering my hair. My layers didn't even turn into layers.. My middle layer was longer than my top and bottom layer... If you even can call them layers. My new hair stylist said that the woman who cut my hair before was surprised she even passed cosmetology school because my hair was burcherd bad. She even said she wants to talk to this woman and ask her if she even knows how to do layers. So in the end this place may sell kendra scott over priced but also can not I mean can not cut hair nor have good customer service. read more
