I didn't find that relevant at all, and let her know I would like to judge based on my own before and after photos. Since then, I have called four separate times to follow up. Each time, the receptionist assured me that the information would be sent "right away," but nothing ever happened. A week later, I would have to call again and repeat the entire process. The lack of follow-through, poor communication, and failure to keep commitments have been very frustrating. While customer service begins with making promises, it also requires keeping them. Unfortunately, my experience has been one of repeated assurances without any action.

They provide multiple videos with the 20+ pages of forms. Due to a disability, I have a hard time watching or just listening to videos. I requested the written docs or transcripts to look at; was told nothing existed but not to worry, the doc would spend extra time answering any questions. I completed every form and requested all recent lab work from several doctors and sent it scanned as requested in advance. Why? No reason apparently. The doc came in and clearly had not even glanced for one second at anything I submitted. How do I know? My medical situation is extremely complex; I have multiple issues that turned out to seriously rule out the surgery at all; she seems very uneducated about many of my conditions, but didn't admit it or ask questions about them. She seemed to think I could just quit taking lithium; but, conversely, Her answers about the surgery, pre and post procedures, etc. were very thorough and easy to understand. Obviously, you want a surgeon who can operate, so, if the pesky patient communication is too much, assign someone else. BTW, I was not asked if I was comfortable with another doctor/student/resident, etc. being in the room. I don't care, and I am not shy. However, I know many people uncomfortable with this who would not contradict a doctor. This was a very long drive. My boyfriend had to take time off work. The doc said all of their materials for education, maintenance, etc. were videos only. i guess if you are disabled, you are out of luck. She clearly seems to have helped many people and since I am not having surgery, I cannot speak to that.

My husband and I both tried to resolve this issue with them. They wouldn't try to work with us to resolve the issue. Now it's turned over for collections. This is fine because they aren't getting another dime from me.

I just recently moved to the Austin area and had a hair appointment with different salon where I was less than pleased with the outcome to say the least. I began looking on Instagram to find a new salon and found Lauren at Deep Roots in Cedar Park. Her Instagram was filled with amazing pictures of her work and I knew she was my girl! I just had my appointment with her last week and I could not be happier!! We talked about my hair hopes and goals and she was very thorough examining my hair and being clear about what was realistic at this stage to keep it as healthy as possible moving forward (since I have quite a bit of damage to my ends from previous coloring). After my appointment she recommended products to help strengthen my hair before our next appointment to get me closer to my goals and I can definitely say my hair has felt the best that it has since moving here by using what she recommended. And now I cannot recommend her enough!! And on top of how great she was- the salon itself is the cutest, trendiest salon I've ever seen! Such a warm welcoming environment! Where do I even begin? Basically Allison saves my hair at deep roots in cedar park! I went in with brown and blonde (some blues) polka dot and stripes everywhere hair. I was so sad. I had such healthy hair and new that my hair was doomed to be fried and would take forever and cost an arm and a leg to correct. I had such healthy hair before. Allison offered to fix it. She first had me come in for a consultation. She told me the plan and when it came to discussing how much I felt stuck because I couldn't afford it. She then offered to do a two step process. She is a genius because let me tell you, just after the first session I LOVED my hair. She knows what she is doing. The entire time she treated my hair as her personal master piece...she really cares and treated my hair like it was her own. Then I came in again today and WOW! Magic. Allison is a magician and I will ALWAYS go to her for my hair. She gave me exactly what I wanted! And my hair looks healthier then it has in awhile!!! Kristin at the Cedar Park location is SO extremely sweet and amazing! She is soooo talented! I came into the salon wanting something new and my options were limited since I had already dyed my hair once & did a color correction already. I was feeling lost with no hope to have gorgeous hair before the holidays. And she definitely did her magic and did wonders on my hair. She consulted with me for 20-25 minutes discussing the overall plan and options I can go with for the damage that another stylist from a different salon made. Katherine is my go to girl at Deep Roots. This salon is amazing and has such a cool aesthetic that instantly makes me feel relaxed and at home when I walk in. Katherine has been wonderful with helping me take care of my hair and always recommends the best products. I've had 5 different hair colors in the past year: platinum blonde to purple to blue to pink to my natural brown, and through this hair journey Katherine has consistently kept my hair healthy despite all the bleaching and damage. Kass was so attentive to what my hair goals were, and took a lot of time devising a plan to color correct, and get my hair to where I wanted which was a light pink, rose gold, balayage. I recently had my hair done by Mahshid at Deep Roots Salon in Cedar Park and she and the salon are both AMAZING!! My hair is very long, thick, and super wavy so not the easiest head of hair to deal with and Mahshid did a beautiful balayage technique like a pro! I went to deep roots for the first time a couple of weeks ago for a balayage. I had Lauren Davis (@lo_davishair) working on my hair and let me tell you, she completely exceeded my expectations! I wanted to go lighter but had horror hair stories in the past so I wanted to be sure to look natural as possible. I have pretty dark complected skin and features so I wanted my tones to be more golden. Lauren listened to me and was able to achieve just what I was looking for and more. Lately my schedule has been such that I had to book with several of the other stylists that she has and have really adored working with them. She knew I was a little apprehensive so she kept me talking and seemed very genuine when she asked me questions about my kids, and life etc. As she worked she asked me what I thought and made sure that's what I wanted. Very sweet girl. When she was done I asked her to add a little volume to the top of my flat head and without hesitation she did that and once she was all done, I LOVED it! Very happy with Charlotte who by the way added me to her Monday schedule when it's super difficult to find someone! Also very happy with Jenn who was very prompt in returning my email. She also worked with my schedule because I work nights and I need the latest appointment available so I'm sure she had to coordinate with Charlotte. I had to change one of my choices because I went out on a date with my husband and she was sweet telling me to have a great night with him. She could have just ignored that but she chose to add a little bit of personality to what could have been a very impersonal email. That says a lot to me. I've gotten compliments on my hair and I hate telling them where because I don't want them to fill up his schedule! But I do anyway. Regardless, I know he'll be there for me when I need him. The facility is really pretty and all the stations are decorated beautifully so most of my senses are pleased when I'm there. Definitely sticking with him.

Now I see Katie Bracken and I laughingly call her the "second best stylist in Round Rock" because she isn't Jamie Marie but again she is friendly and efficient and gives me a great haircut each and every time. I got my hair colored by Ashley last week... I have…read morenaturally brown hair and went all black. After one week my brown hair color is already coming thru. I was told taking hot showers would do this although I've had my hair colored before and never had to adjust my shower water. This was after being charged extra for "extra dye". Altogether I spent $300 for something that's already gone a week later. Will never go back. **An adjustment was offered after this review was made and only then. Which i'm sure would be sooo comfortable for me to go back at this point.
