Ever since my first appointment with Laura here, I can confidently say that this is my salon of choice AND stylist of choice. I came in for a blowout a couple weeks ago. When I got there 15 mins early, they said my stylist was ready and that she would come get me. 20 mins after my appointment, my stylist came and said that she still needed 5 mins minutes and asked if I could wait- which was totally fine. About 15 mins later she got me back. I was exhausted and just asked her to make it look really good. The wash was great, and my hair was soft after. Thing is, she flipped my hair forward and one side was nice and smooth and wavy and the other... was about 2 inches longer and not smooth or wavy and my bangs were a complete fluffy disaster. It didn't look good, let alone really good. I'm looking in the mirror, very surprised and not in a good way and she's looking at me in the mirror and I'm thinking... I can't believe she's not immediately offering to fix this. We are looking at the same thing. Wtf. Had to go home and fix it. Then she took my payment and it gave me the option of 20%, 22%, or 24% for a tip... on a service that wasn't even completed. Are you serious. I left $10 on the $55 and $2 service fee- whatever that means. Vibe was great. Very cute boutique. read more

This salon is really cute and has lots of stylists ranging in from assistant to master. I took in my two daughters and myself for a haircut under a special they were running if you booked with the assistant stylist. The price we paid for the services we received was a good deal. I can't say that either of us got what we asked for but, they were still executed well. With the assistant stylists cuts, a master stylist comes in and goes over their work and makes sure everything flows well. It was appreciated but just be mindful that this does make the appointment a lot longer. Not sure if we'll be back. read more

I didn't have a good experience here. I paid about 180 for a service that I could have done at home. They didn't do a good job and I allowed them to try fix it and it ended up being much worse. My hair was brassy. When I went back instead of them fixing that they changed it to a darker color and roots looked orangey. It looked bad. I've had my hair light for a long time and now it's dark. I had paid for a money piece and they dyed over it. It hadn't been done correctly though. My scalp has felt dry and my hair also has since the hair services. They charge salon prices but service was like going to a school where they're learning. At those prices it shouldn't be that way. The stylists need more experience. The one that did my hair was friendly but the service was bad. Will not be coming here again. read more

I paid $400 with the understanding that my hair would be straightened--or at the very least, that the curls would be significantly smoothed out. Unfortunately, there has been no noticeable change. Received a haircut, highlights, and style. Loved the highlights and style. Went in for a devacut by level 4 owner, Jami. Tipped colorist and stylist in cash, bought 3 items as was told the promotion for buy two get one free. Cashed out, tipped on the total. I live an hour away so when I looked at the digital receipt sent to me, I saw the tip was for all services and products, which is not right. Sent an e-mail to owner explaining error, she stated they could not refund on a tip, but wanted to "make this right", by giving me a gift card for my next visit. She didn't give me a devacut as she said those are out of style, talked me into a rezo cut instead. Said she would cut it once first dry, then after I get highlights and shampoo/style, she'd cut again. I'm getting my hair dryed/styled, I see her starting to leave for the day, so she see's me and I guess remembered so she comes to me and says, "If notice you need more cut tomorrow, just come back and I'll do touch ups." She knows I live an hour away. She forgot about me and was going to leave until I saw her. I emailed her back as she never mentioned the promotion I was told about and getting a refund on that. She has not contacted me since. I would not recommend or go back to this salon, especially since I got this all from the owner. read more

I unfortunately did not have a great experience here. I came here in hopes to treat myself a little and left pretty sad with the results. I asked for a trim and just a little shaping with my bangs. My bangs were left very uneven, too short, and choppy. My hair was also uneven with one side being longer than the other. I called back the same day and came in the next day for them to fix it where I was told by the owner that I should've booked with a master stylist and I wouldn't be able to style my hair for a few weeks until my bangs grew out. The owner also said "you should want your hair to be sisters not twins" ?????? Uhm no I actually do want my hair to be twins and even on both sides. This upset me because why is your stylists $75 for just a cut if they can't do a basic trim and shape bangs? Why do I need to book with a master stylist shouldn't all the stylists be capable of a trim and shaping? Not only that but their scheduling is not great either. My first appointment I booked and cancelled because they wanted to move it by two hours. Same with the next day fix appointment. It was booked at 10 am they wanted me to come in at 1 pm. I can understand a 30 minute move but multiple hours is not okay in my opinion. I wasn't offered a refund and was basically told ‍ so I won't be returning. I wanted a balayage that blended the grey - removing the reds and adding blondes along with a hair cut. I have course CURLY hair. She decided to brush, yes brush out all my hair and give me a DRY haircut.... I sat there in awe because I've never had someone cut my CURLY hair when it was frizzed out and dry; needless to say, it was not even and when it dried, I actually had 2 people look at it and notice that it was not even. She also used a razor instead of scissors to frame my face - even I know that technique is not used as much, especially for people with hair like mine!. The original coloring she did was overpowered by the toner, and my hair looked a greenish/gray, with minimal highlighting I came back next day, so she could correct the coloring - the blonde color turned out OK, but was uneven and coloring didn't blend like a balayage should, no secondary color for dimension used and foil was not used in a patterned way. I was put under dryer both times to process color and it completely fried ends - she did haircut before coloring also... Originally, I was told it was $250.00 - I did leave a $20 both times. She is very nice;however, I did not feel she was capable of correcting a third time, and honestly, the situation made it very difficult and embarrassing to sit in your shop in front of her with someone else trying to fix her work, which I honestly wasn't sure would do any better. I asked for refund (even partial) - it cost me another $300 to get fixed (see pic below) and received an updated policy that the owner JUST changed as of June 30, even though my appt was on June 17. I would not consider the owner reputable for running a "high end" salon, especially when she fails to address poor outcomes. Beware - the quality may not be what you pay for for. We were a little surprised since it's 20% above what they told us. We questioned it and mentioned if it can be done for $130. This somehow ticked them off, in their response they wanted to cancel the appointment. So this is a salon that does not keep their quote given in person, bump it up later, when questioned, they can be rude to you. The most interesting part of their message is that they claimed it as a "high-end" salon and wanted us to refer to someplace else. I stand by what I said. The shampoo was used 3 times the conditioner used once. They have a locked door policy, you cannot get in without an appointment. Why would my wife go 40 minutes out of her way to try and schedule an appointment just to return when it is a closed facility. My wife's hair was breaking off in clumps. They absolutely lost a client that spent good money there. It would have been an easy fix. They would still have a client who would have used a different product. She had an appointment scheduled at 45 days. Knowing the impossibility to get into the building and having to work. This is not acceptable position. I waited a long time to write my update, because I wanted to make sure I was updating it objectively. I think Jami's attitude towards her customers has changed. I'd been seeing her exclusively for three years, and we were even FB friends (at her suggestion). This summer, she had me come in to be a hair model for her newest employee, and I was unhappy with the results (I was told my hair would be dyed magenta and I got orange-y pink). Jami claimed this was because there was still dye from my previous color in my hair, when at the last cut she had done she even commented that all the previous dye was cut out. Having done a lot of color and bleaching myself, I know it was actually not lifted to a light enough level and also didn't have toner added - my hair is naturally black, but it lifts pretty easily if you know what you're doing. I contacted Jami via messenger about it, and she had me come in to have it (sort of) corrected by the new stylist. After that it was kind of a darkish rose gold. Oh well, it was free, right? (Jami made sure to keep reminding me of that fact, as though I shouldn't complain when her employee was unable to deliver the color that wasn't even my suggestion in the first place.) Overall, I didn't really care that much. I went in and saw Jami for a cut a couple of weeks after all this, and everything seemed fine. She said she'd be able to lighten it more and do a brighter color if I wanted to book that, and I told her I'd look at my schedule and budget. Yesterday, I went to send her a message on FB to ask what service I should use to book online, and I found out she had blocked me! First impressions are hard to change. Took my daughter in for a haircut and the owner Jami kept looking at her hair like she's never seen a teenager have dandruff before. That is so rude to do to a teenage girl. You never know what is going on in someone's life. Dandruff happens just like your roots not being done ;) Anyways Jami just seemed to not like us from the start. I asked if she colored hair and she quickly let me know "I'm not taking any new clients" even though you can book her online like we did a few days before (LOL). It was an awkward haircut that we couldn't wait to get out of. She recommended me to Victoria, which is really nice so I gave it another chance with her due to all the rave reviews (I assumed this was just an off day, everyone has them) I brought in a picture, even though my hair looked nothing like it when I left it was cute. She is good with color. However, when I got home and washed my hair, one side was longer than the other. Jami was at the front desk when I came in for my next appt. She ignored me and couldn't even be bothered to greet me as I come in. Good luck on your new business, you're gonna need it with that attitude. I have thick hair and she took the time to listen to what I was concerned about and gave me a great haircut! It saddens me to even leave a negative review, as I was so much looking forward to having my hair dyed for the first time and getting a Deva cut at a salon I thought was one of the best in town. I made an appointment that was set by the owner. She booked me with a Colorist and a Deva Cut specialist. When I arrived the colorist blow dryed my hair, which I have not straighten in years. I was only fine with this because the owner had previously informed me that it would be blow dried to apply the color. After the Colorist finds out through our conversation that she wouldn't be cutting my hair, only coloring and after we go over color samples, she steps away and comes back saying she thinks the other stylist who was booked to cut my hair should do both processes. I am disappointed by this entire situation, by the lack of communication with the owner and her stylist. The stylist was apologetic but the owner was nonchalant, only asking if I could at least stay for the hair cut that would start at 11am. I arrived at 9am and left with a lion mane at 9:30 am. I completely wasted my time, and had my hair blow dried/ heat damage for No Reason- which is major for a curly hair girl like myself. I do not recommend this salon.
