I absolutely love coming here! It's such a beautiful, classy place, and the owners are truly amazing at what they do. Kerem always does an incredible job with my hair, which is long and has extensions, so I really appreciate his attention to detail and expertise. And one of my favorite things is being able to head over to the med spa afterward! Kara did my Botox, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The talent, professionalism, and atmosphere make this place something special. I highly recommend both! read more

I moved to TX about 2 years ago, and we all know the struggle us women go through when we are forced to leave our comfort zone and find a new hair stylist/lash extension professional- it's the worst because you're taking a gamble and hoping you don't walk out looking like you did an at home YouTube tutorial that went horribly wrong! I don't leave a lot of reviews- but my services here have been so consistently fabulous, that I felt both Kara and Kerem deserved some recognition. Kara does an AMAZING job on my lashes- I didn't think anyone could be better than my previous lash lady, but Kara IS! I can't tell you how many compliments I get on my lashes on a daily basis, it's insane! I feel so confident going to work even without makeup because they're always so long and full. She does a ton of skincare treatments as well- I've struggled with rosacea my whole life, and it is extremely embarrassing when it flares up. I have to consistently use expensive creams to keep it under control. She offers a treatment with a very high success rate that eliminates rosacea symptoms permanently!! I am so excited to finally stop buying those creams and be done with the redness! Kerem has been doing my hair as well- it's so convenient that I can knock both hair and lashes out at once! Being a blonde, it's even scarier going to a new stylist because of the fear of coming out looking orange. Kerem eliminated that fear by getting me to the icy white-blonde color I've been wanting for years! It took a few visits, but that's because he really cares about the health of your hair and doesn't want to damage it by bleaching the crap out of it all at once. I am so thankful for that, because while it sucked waiting to reach this point in color, my hair feels super soft and silky as if it's never been colored. If you are looking for top notch skincare, lash extensions, or hair cut/color/extensions, I HIGHLY recommend going to see Kara and Kerem. Their prices are reasonable, are flexible if you have a tight schedule, they have fun personalities that put you at ease, and are FACE FRIENDLY!!! They put love into their work and it shows. Thank you both so much! read more

LOVE my new hair and eyelashes. Kara is amazing at what she does. Her spa is so neat, calming, and I loved having a personal therapist for an hour. She is a perfectionist which is what you need when you're trusting someone with your eyes. The placement of her lashes makes it look so natural but also dramatic (which is what I love.) 10/10 would recommend. Kerem did an absolute amazing job with my hair. I did the keratin fused extensions and I feel AMAZING. I wake up, my hair is already done. It feels so natural. The way he blended the extensions with my real hair, you can't even tell. AND the COLOR. I went back to black. I'm in love with it. If you are looking for a couple that knows how to make you feel and look beautiful, go here. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else. read more

Ozen Salon came highly recommended by my friend Shannon. I went after my hair was falling out due to medical reasons...I lost 50% ! Truly emotionally devastating on my part. He made me feel secure through this difficult process, did gorgeous highlights and the perfect cut. I now love my hair as I start the regrowing process. Thank you so much- Teresa read more

He was great. Good conversation, I let him do what he wanted and it was great, and the best hair wash I've had at a salon. I found my place.

If you want the best hair experience, this the place for you. Kerem is a master with color and does amazing work. Kerem makes you feel like your his only client. The salon is very giving to the community as well. I love that. Go see them, you won't regret it and will keep going back! read more

On the recommendation of my dry cleaner, and because Selma's had provided a 25% coupon off, I made an appointment and went expecting little but hoping I'd get a decent cut, at least. Cut to the chase - one of the most awesome hair cuts I've ever had. This is even more incredible because I have very straight hair and this is one of the hardest types to cut, if not the hardest. Keren whipped out his scissors and actually worked his magic. I was immediately complimented by my husband, and friends. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I rarely give out 5 stars. If I go here three more times and have the same experience, I'll be upping this to 5 stars. Oh and Selma is Kerem's mother who also works there and stocks the international boutique, which fills the place with stuff to buy from around the world. She also knits many items and those are on display as well. Nice homey atmosphere. Oh, and Kerem trained one of the ladies who made it on to the show Blowout and who won. Good going Kerem! read more

"Not all eyelash technicians are created equal."-Kara. This is 1000% true. I love her, I love her ocd to my eyelashes, I am so thankful for her passion and dedication. I don't have enough good things to say!!! First off, I have always splurged on hair salons as it's MY HAIR and lately these bougie dt Austin salons have been nothing short of disappointing...I was tired of the crappy parking situations, high service fees, elitist attitudes and culture and the high salesman techniques so I googled hair salons and found this one. 10/10 overall; * location: so many parking spots and so easy to find * cost: no upwelling or hidden fees; fair pricing * salon: clean and comfortable * stylist: (I had Karem), an owner and he's the most caring, listening, gregarious person I've ever met; he makes you feel like family * booking: EASY! I booked through yelp and if you're like me and work 24/7, being able to book appointments w/o talking on the phone is SO appreciated Can't wait to go back and meet his wife Kara and try out some of her medical spa services. read more

Love Kara! I've been struggling with adult acne for the last six years. It's impacted so many areas of my life. I reached out to Kara after hearing about DMK through a stranger and never looked back. The enzyme therapy has made a huge difference and I'll never not use the DMK product line! Kara is so sweet and intelligent. I love visiting her for treatments. She's so knowledgeable about the science behind the products and treatments, and walks you through everything. read more

I went to Selma's last weekend to redeem a $40 LivingSocial coupon for a spa manicure and pedicure, which also included a $10 gift card for a future visit. (The regular price for a spa manicure is $30, and $40 for a spa pedicure.) I was having my bridal portraits taken the next morning and wanted to look my best. Jennifer, the nail technician, was really personable, funny, and professional. And she did an awesome job on my nails. The whole service took about an hour and a half. She used hot stones and steamed towels as part of the spa treatment. I asked for French polish and she did not charge me extra. It's been four days since the service and my toenails still look impeccable (and I don't think I have cute feet at all!). I am glad I chose Selma's for that very important photo shoot. The only reason I am not giving them five stars is they need to market themselves better. I have not been able to get their website link to work, and I had to call twice to set my appointment. They are located in a little house on McNeil Road near 183. It's a small lot and hard to see from the road. But it's way worth finding. read more

Awesome! Could write a huge review, but not going to. I had a few special requests which they filled and carried out to perfection! They took great care of my friend and made her feel very welcome and special. Kerem did a wonderful job. He was extremely nice to her and myself and really just "wow-ed" the both of us. The entire staff there was courteous and made it a very comfortable environment to be in. My friend is still smiling from the way she was treated there. We'll definitely be back. Thank you Kerem and all the Selma's staff! read more

I used to travel an hour away to see my stylist that was wonderful and only charged $55. Considering the low price I didn't mind the drive. Then one day I came in and after providing the service she claimed the salon changed prices and the service is now $80. I decided it was no longer worth the drive. I tried a couple stylist in Austin. One turned me platinum blonde instead of giving me highlights. The other gave me a dingy mouse brownish awful color. I started checking out other every females hair asking where they go. Finally I found Karem at Selma. Karem is a fourth generation stylist working in a small salon set up in a house. It is not super modern and you won't find fancy Aveda products but you will walk out with a great color, style and feel fabulous. read more

I never bother to get my nails done, but I saw a Living Social deal for Selma's a few weeks before I was to be maid of honor in a wedding, so I bought it and called to book an appointment. At first, the girl told me there were no openings (booked for a whole week before the wedding due to spring break), and said I could spend an extra ten dollars on a layer of shellac if I wanted to show up 8 days early.. no thanks, I can buy a whole bottle for about that much. I was disappointed and almost didn't call back. But I wasn't about to waste 40 bucks that fast, so I called back and pleaded that I'd only bought the deal because of this wedding, and asked if there was anything they could do to help. This time, she offered to make a call and managed to fit me in the day before I left for the wedding. And my nails looked better than the bride's! (Someone put way too much polish on hers; they looked cloudy and were chipping). Jennifer was fun and did a great job; the spa pedicure was relaxing. Since I get my nails done about twice a lifetime, I'll probably give my coupon to one of my slightly more fashionable girlfriends.. if I can find it! read more

Kara does my lashes -she is amazing! I've had lash extensions for six years, had I'm so happy I finally found her. I'm very picky. I want it all; long, thick, dramatic. She delivers. People constantly ask where I get my lashes done and I'm happy to say Ozen! read more

I can't say enough about Kerem and Kara! Wow, what a great team they make. I had my first set of eyelash extensions several weeks ago. Kara did an amazing job. She takes her time and is very knowledgeable. I am now addicted and know I have found the best in Austin!!!! Kerem saved me from hair that had gone wrong. I was telling Kara about it when I was getting my lashes done. She took me to Kerem afterward and he fit me in even though I had no appointment. He knew exactly what I needed and he exceeded my expectations. Fantastic stylist!!! Kerem and Kara take pride in their work and love what they do! read more

Ozen Salon and Spa - My beautiful blonde done by Kerem - Hair Salons Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

In February of this year, my fiancee purchased a gift certifcate from Morgan's Deals (at my request) for my birthday. Being new to Austin I took the chance to go to Jennifer for my mani/pedi 2 days prior to my wedding in early May. I had to change my appointment twice because of dress fittings. Jennifer was more than willing to change my appointments & work me in to make my day! And she did. She was so kind, caring & beautiful inside & out & the soon-to-be bride had a very relazing foot massage, hot stones & perfect pedi (painted a sky blue for my something "blue'). When it was time to do my finger nails she suggested a "shallac" polish as my naisl are natural and she knew they needed to stay picture perfect for a long time. Best idea ever! They were gorgeous for the wedding & honeymoon and about 2 weeks later the polish started to come off. She allowed me to soak off the shallac then free of charge. That was the longest & best manicure I've ever had. I have been back numerous times since then (gotta show off my new wedding ring with perfect nails) and my toes & finger nails have never been in better shape or looked prettier. I'd recommend Jennifer to anyone who wants to look & feel their best. She is remarkable! My husband and I are getting ready to buy a new home and I told him I can't move to far away from Selma's because I don't trust my nails to anyone but Jennifer. read more

I visited Kerem for highlights and a haircut this past Saturday on a recommendation from a client of theirs. I am super new to the Austin area and haven't been to get my hair done in a few months - so I needed it bad! Kerem was incredibly welcoming, kind and put me at ease right away. He does incredible work and is truly talented - if you're a blonde, you GOTTA go see him asap! Kara is awesome, as well - she made scheduling a breeze. I haven't been to the spa yet, but plan to. I wish I could rate them 10 stars! read more

I had cut, hightlights and style. The haircut and highlights were great. I was happy with the services I recieved. What I am not happy about is the dishonesty. I bought a KGB deal for $65 which included a cut, style and all over color. When I called to see if I could have highlights instead of color I was told that was ok and the difference would be between $35-45. I booked the appointment and before we started I told Karem that I had found his salon because of the KGB deal. When I paid, I gave him coupon. He told me the difference was $75. I was shocked. Basically he values his service at $225.00 $150 (value of KGB deal) + $75 (additonal for highlights) Basically the KGB deal was NOT a deal at all. I paid full price for the services. The service I recieved was fine but Karem did not honor the deal. Therefore I would NOT recomend him. 3 stars because I am satisfied with the service. my hair looks fine. read more

Want to feel beautiful? Look fabulous? Have all your beauty needs done in one place? Look no further than Ozen Salon and Spa. I very rarely give five star reviews but I must say if I could give Kara and Karem 10 I would. They are worth and every star and more. Karem has been doing hair for over 20 years and comes from a family of stylist. He cares about each of his clients and pampers them with not only a beautiful cut and color but hair care to boot. Kara is a certified aesthetician that goes above and beyond to care for her clients skin and eyes. If you want healthy stunning eyelashes and hair this is the place to be. My initial set was gorgeous and my refill even better. It's so refreshing to see two people so devoted to their profession. They stay up to date on the latest trends and practices. They want you to leave happy and feeling fabulous. Men or women Ozen treats you right. But don't take my word for it. Review after review tells the story. Go and see for yourself. read more

A good hair dresser appears to be hard to find in Austin. I had been to 6 different salons before finding Selma's. Kerem does an amazing job! I always love my cut when he is finished. Do not know about color though as I have never had it done But the other clients I have seen in there always seem satisfied when they leave. Price is VERY reasonable for the quality you are getting. read more

A friend referred me to Kerem at Selma's a few months back. He is ABSOLUTELY awesome. This time, I let him take off a little extra (I used to wear my hair long, and I'm transitioning to the idea of going a little shorter), and he explained to me the steps I should take to do this. As a result, I had him take off an extra two-inches (rather than a little more as I had orginally planned). Maybe next time I'll let him take a little more. Regardless, I really appreciate the fact that he won't take off anymore than you want him to. He is also fun to talk with while he's styling your hair. I am so happy with Kerem as my hair stylist, that I bought both of my adult daughter's gift certificates to get haircut and styled by him. They both loved their new styles and they look terrific! I have very unruly, naturally curly hair, and Kerem is one of very few people who knows how to cut and style this type of hair. It's nice to have a stylist who I can trust! He gets my highest recommendations! :o) read more

Karem is the only one I trust with my lovely locks. His daughter has the same hair type as me so he has true insight of what it's like to work with mixed type hair. He's seen me through all kinds of awesome hair changes, so when I asked him to turn my vampire red hair to an Alaskan inspired silver, I was delighted when he took on one of the most difficult challenges in wild hair colors. Sometimes I'm not totally connected with reality and pushed Karem onwards to lighter and brighter highlights. I called with a 911 lash emergency, and I needed some major help! The full set of gotten not even 4 days ago had been a total nightmare, from the tools, glue, atmosphere, and quality of the job. Kara was able to see me that day (thank god) and turned an absolutely horrid lash job into one that didn't make me look or feel like a crack head! She's OCD, which I am too, and appreciate when a technician has that 'eye' for a great look and application. She was so easy to talk to, we chatted about travel, conspiracies, children, life... I was so nervous to look for a technician here in Austin, but im delighted to have found my go-to girl! Her prices are incredibly affordable, the job done is twice that of other salons nearby. The atmosphere in her room is calm, plush, and inviting. Her husband answered my call when I went to book an appointment, and he was so friendly! Even with such a last minute booking, they were both so great and truly had such a welcoming energy. I'm so happy I found them, and I will absolutely be returning and recommending her to everyone I know. read more
