I went in to get my hair cut as usual and got a different stylist this time. Her name was Cami. Cami definitely met all expectations and did a freakin fantastic job on my hair, my wife was very pleased. I usually just get a 0 mid fade but she recommended a bald mid fade and it was a world of difference. It looked great! I'll be getting that done from now on. Great service and first cut a few weeks ago. Found out that they could do the styles my boys like. Planned on bringing them back this weekend. Excitingly, I received a $10 off coupon via text, and with getting 2-3 cuts on Saturday, I was gonna use it. Got their and they told me I couldn't use it on my boys. No talking through it, Im just another number to them now. Rude lady, just a no and thats it. Any other hair place, when they send you a coupon, you get to use it on you or your kid. I came here to get a haircut for my nanny, and I have to laugh -- the stylist sprayed so much water on her hair that it was practically dripping! Then, after soaking it completely, they charged us extra to blow-dry it. Funny, but also kind of ridiculous. read more

Well I work with special needs population: one young person I was asked to drive ; needed a hair cut quickly. This placed was called ahead of time by the group home. Told them they accepted walk-ins. But I believe they also made an appointment. Also this place is known not new her regular beautician this place moved. So we proceeded to walk in and this is where the ugliness begins. So this salon worker ( found out her name is Kathy and her coworker apologized for her) is a very discriminating person. (Place had no one waiting; just one whom the coworker was attending to) If you're reading this lady you know exactly how your behavior is! not only did you ignore and not greet special needs person but as we walked in looked at us dead in the eyes but NO GREET and proceeded to talk to her coworker about personal business for literally 15 minutes while we waited. Leave your crap at home and stop naming businesses that you don't like! Unprofessional. Then a customer walked in she greeted them and sat them down for a haircut. Again while ignoring . WTH ????? judgmental much ? You know exactly what you're doing and God don't like UGLY .... Your behavior is horrible for your age. We've been customers there for 20 years. The new receptionist is snooty and the hairstylist that cut my hair two weeks ago is subpar. I decided to give them one more try to get my 2 year old grandsons hair cut there.after being told it was a 10-15 min wait, we sat down and he decided to investigate the PLASTIC crappy pumpkin decor they had out within reach. The receptionist said in her most condescending voice to please not play with these. One, he was moving them gently and not throwing them around. This older white woman cut my husband' hair super fast, did a horrible job and had the nerve to not even give him a mirror to look at his hair cut like every other person who has cut his hair has. She had even walked away as soon as she was done leaving him sitting there and having to ask woman sweeping hair up for a mirror to look at the horrible job she had done. My husband is a gentleman and a scholar so he still tipped her even though she did not deserve it. Would recommend Premier but would not recommend her. read more

I went to Premier Cuts, expecting a reasonable price. I was very surprised when I checked out that they charge haircut, shampoo and blow out separately. I never expected my hair cut to cost over $60. They charged $22 for haircut, $4 for shampoo, $40 for blowout. I went to the same salon 3 years ago and paid $30 for a haircut, shampoo and blowout. I would not recommend them, they are very greedy! read more

Update: after emailing their main office I was contacted by someone who explained the following. The manager had contacted the credit card processing company about the issue but had not recieved any word back. However, my best course of action would be to dispute the charge with my CC company and PC would not fight it, allowing the refund.... I was later contacted by the company owner who followed up to make sure I had recieved my money back and to apologize. I was happy with the follow up from both the main office employee along with the owner. Now if only the manager had done this same thing, even if it was just to say, "sorry I'm still waiting on a response." That issue aside I'm changing my review to 3 stars. As I said haircut is so-so, I guess it depends on the person doing it. Also not happy with the price increase. I know it's not much but I get my haircut about every 2 weeks and that can add up. Luckily I only go here when I have to as I have someone who cuts my hair for free. read more

I took both of my boys for their hair cuts before Christmas. We have gone several times and never had a problem. My three year old was taken to a blond older lady who was sick. In addition to coughing in his face multiple times, she kept snapping at him for "moving too much". All he was doing was pushing his shoulders up because the razor was tickling him. Then I left the room to check on my 5 years old who was with a different stylist and when I came back, the woman who was with my 3 year old had her hand on top of his head and was SHACKING his head roughly and saying "DONT MOVE! STOP MOVING". She saw the look of shock on my face and stopped the haircut before she was finished. His hair is completely crooked in the front and the front of his hair is short, while she left the back and top of his hair long. She clearly didn't want to be there and I will never go back. I debated writing this review, but this has been haunting me since it happened. I just can't shake what a terrible feeling it was to see that happen. Even if my kid was moving too much (which he wasn't, he was just lifting his shoulders and moving his head forward because it was tickling him) she still never should have touched him like that. I wish I had just grabbed him and left. I will regret not doing that for the rest of my life. read more

Went in as a walk in this morning, and I have to say Tucker gave me the BEST haircut I've had since moving to Round Rock seven years ago! Reaffirming the 5 star rating! Tucker cut my daughter's hair and she loved it (and him!), and I was lucky enough to get him this time. Not only is the cut nearly perfect, the way he went about it was thoughtful and intelligent. Add to that how nice he is to talk to and you have a real above-and-beyond experience from little shop in a strip mall. I'm going to see if we can get Tucker as often as possible. This is not to detract from the other great professionals there- you are more or less guaranteed to have a great cut. read more

I have been coming here for several years and have always had someone different cut my hair. This time I had Gabbi. She was very nice, talked to me about what I wanted and let me know what would look ok and what might be better. I went with her suggestion and am very pleased. Every Wednesday they have $10 men cuts so I always go on a Wednesday. ( I still think I should only have to pay about $5 for a cut, yes, I am cheap or old- or both) I will continue to go here and will be asking specifically for Gabbi from now on. read more

I walked in with my baby in a stroller and I literally waited 3 mins and they were able to see me for a quick haircut. The woman at the front desk was very friendly- she was blonde and had a beautiful haircut- she suggested the person that did her haircut- his name is Tucker and thankfully he was able to see me right away. He cut my hair and did a really fast and beautiful job. My haircut looks very neat, super on point. I appreciate how kind they were to my baby as she waited for me to be done getting a haircut. Okay I have had a horrible experience at this salon before and refused to come back but my mom insisted I come. I came with my younger sister and asked them to cut 4 inches off of her hair and to trim her bangs. The male who cut her hair did fine. I asked the girl who was cutting my hair to cut an inch and a half off of mine. Going into the salon my hair was very long going to almost my butt in the back and mid waist in the front. When she finished cutting my hair she never showed me the length in the back (I assumed she would turn my chair around and show me with the 2nd mirror as all hair salons do) but she never showed me. I paid 32 dollars plus tip. I got home and noticed my hair in the front was barely passed my shoulders and in the back was just as short. I never went to try to get my money back because I was too angry. I had nice long hair and now it is very short! I have had 2 horrible experiences here and probably won't ever ever return I would rather pay $50 to get a nice haircut then to pay cheap again. read more

They were fast, friendly, and efficient. I was not overly impressed with the quality of the cut, but I thought it was commensurate with the price they charged. They were able to successfully cut my hair without loss of blood. It was a successful strip mall haircut that didn't make me go straight home and get the clippers for a buzz cut. The person cutting my hair didn't smell like they fell in a vat of perfume before they came to work. They didn't engage in useless prattle about the weather, sports, or what I was doing that day. Great place for a haircut! On Wednesdays, they have $10 specials- what a deal! The receptionist Kayla, was SUPER friendly, and the stylists do a great job every time I go in. I used to get my haircuts at Great Clips, until my regular stylist moved, but I think I found my new place. Been going here at this Round Rock location at 1700 E. Palm Valley location for years. Always left great tip (according to my wife, too much tip), hopefully so the next visit will be better--that they will remember me as a good customer. Went by today at about 6:35, looking for quick haircut. Nothing fancy. Mine usually take 15 mins max. Former army, so my haircuts are simple. Of course, they said 'no' I asked if they still close at 7-- they do, but the one person at the front desk said it will take the one other stylist until 7 to finish her current customer. I guess no one else can cut hair but that one person. Just be warned, they may say they close at 7, but if you go there at 6:30 you ain't getting a haircut. I'm not going to stroll in at 6:50 or 6:55 for a haircut. Like I said, been going there for years, always encountered something negative snippiness 90% of the time when I went. (ridiculous long wait, stylists take people out of turn, something negative. I ignored it all. Don't want to be a Karen or Kevin or whatever that is for dudes. But like a fool, I always went back, and still like a fool always tipped alot, especially after the Covid lockdowns. But they don't care. Didn't say anything today just left. But I've had enough, there's other competition in Round Rock. Not going back to this place. Keep in mind. They say they close at 7, but don't go there at 6:30 expecting anything. read more
