Like I said, pretty straight forward unless you ask for a full blow out or gel after haircut is done. Went in 8/8 for men's basic hair cut, shape, trim appointment. A lady named Teresa? cut my hair. I believe she was Hispanic and maybe we did not communicate well. It took her probably less than five minutes. It was the 2nd worst hair cut. I think I may have ever had in my life. And by the way, the cost was $30. Not cheap. Good at haircuts, but be VERY clear on what type of color you want. I asked for my roots to be done a lighter color, she said she would do a lighter shade and 'match' my hair, and when I was taking a couple of seconds to think about it, she said 'hurry up, I have clients waiting'. The color turned out darker than I liked, and she would not correct it after going in a few days later. Bad customer service and does not listen to clients. Not going back again. read more

Ha is wonderful , Lan needs a reality check, she is rude, she put a wet rag on a brand new Louis Vuitton bag, I questioned her and she said that I could not come back to the salon. She is a very jealous person, I don't know why Ha stays there she is fantastic with color and could make a lot more money at a high end salon. I usually get my hair cut in Houston, but I decided to come home for the holidays and get it cut in Cedar Park. I looked up lots of salons on Google and Yelp, as I was looking for an Asian salon that had relatively affordable prices. Satis definitely stuck out in terms of its prices and also its ratings! The other Vietnamese lady (not Lan) at the salon cut my hair, and she was very friendly and polite. She made sure she understood everything I wanted from my haircut before she began cutting. I appreciated how conservative she was with my cut, and how she kept on asking me if I wanted any adjustments (I specified that I only wanted 1 inch cut off my long hair and the rest layered). The overall cost for the cut alone was $25 without tips, which I thought was very reasonable. I think my experience has even gotten my mom on board to coming here! read more

i went in for a haircut with lan on a cold day in november, so i did have a bulky sweater on. i asked her to cut about 2 inches off, bringing my hair up to my shoulders. she washed my hair, and instead of combing it out after she washed it she yanked a brush through it so roughly that my head and neck were continuously snapping back, and she had to stop after each yank to remove a big wad of my hair. from there, she began to cut and then blow dry it. it looked ok, but it was a bit hard to tell since the salon was not very well lit, and i have dark hair and the cape was black. when i got home, i discovered that one side was almost 3/4" shorter than the other! so i went back a few days later and showed her and she said it was because of my heavy sweater that made it hard to cut my hair evenly, but she would fix it. oh, she fixed it-when she was finished, it other side was now almost an inch shorter!!! she said she'd fix it. not! i let the other woman fix it, so that it was finally almost straight when i left the salon with, you guessed it, a bob, instead of the should length cut i had gone in for. read more

Beware of this place!!! I m giving 1star, as I have to give for posting review, this place doesn't even deserve negative star. Went for hair cut(layer and face farming), had taken the appointment with lan, I think she is the owner of the place, had specifically told shampoo and cut no styling, She washed my hair and asked me how short I want and gave me a mirror, I showed her for around 2inches, and she started cutting and she dint ask me what I want, then I got bit scared and told her what I want. by the time I looked at mirror already she had cut a portion of 5-6 inches of hair, I was like, I dint ask for short, then she started 'I cut how much customers asked not how much I want', she was like repeatedly keep on saying until she finished, her voice is a lot louder, so it's like you have to accept it, ok, you dint make any mistake, I did. Then she told your hair is curly, so I have to dry and see, if cut is done properly, then she did blow dry. Then she started picking up my hair from floor and started saying, 'see this much you asked me to cut, And I cut only that much', I just got up, and she charged me for shampoo cut and style, I don't wanted to argue with her anymore, so I just paid and left. My hair was below than my shoulders and now its bob cut and totally uneven, honestly I don't even what cut she has done. Can't go to other hairdresser, as I don't have any length to fix it. I read couple of negative reviews but still there were so many positive reviews, so I went, I never in my life had such a bad haircut or customer service. I just can't understand, how this place has positive reviews. You can cut your own hair and it looks better then what she does, it's like giving a toddler scissors and paper and ask to cut. read more

I was pleasantly surprised in the haircut I received from Lan. Her shop is small and very clean, so the conversations are one on one. without trying to talk over other stylists and their clients. I showed her some pictures on my phone of what I was wanting and she knew just what to do. She is very meticulous on the details and the tiniest stray hair will be trimmed if. I went with a pixie cut and Lan was just as talented as one of those fancy salons that charge a lot more. I could have doubled her tip and still have not been close to what other stylist charge. Very rude to first time customer! I booked an appointment today 10/8 at 1pm. i tried calling back day before to reschedule but nobody answered back. So today at 11:56am i called back to resechedule my appointment and just left a message, i asked if i can reschedule at 1:30-2pm. i got a txt from her at 12:18pm and i replied right away. I said ok i will come at 1pm. But she alreayd booked that time with somebody else. Its not even 1pm yet as i write this review. Is this the way you treat customer?? While negotiating with the time she already lock in the time with other customer of course money money money its business anyway I understand that! She does her Hair Treatment Services that requires LONG HOURS to complete (like Keratin Treatment) on her dayoff, to make sure her focus is 100% on you. She doesn't entertain phonecalls or visitors all throughout the service. You'll feel the 100% care and attention for sure! On haircut - I showed her a photo of the cut i want, then she studied my face and incorporated the cut. The level of professionalism, knowledge and passion is on point. I just left the salon after getting a cut and color done by Rachel and I love Love LOVE this salon and I adore Rachel! She did such a good job! I asked for about 3 inches off and a lot of layers, boom! Got what I asked for. I also asked for a subtle caramel balayage and it's so beautiful and natural looking that I even commented that it reminded me of my hair color before I started coloring my hair! Moving to a brand-new community on short notice is demanding on many levels and in many ways. So today, let's talk about just one of those "ways"... finding a new person to cut, trim, and/or style your hair! It can be a migraine. I mean you ask around, you read Yelp Reviews, you google for an informed opinion. But, in the end...finally, YOU just have to take-a-chance. I did that previously in Austin but that choice eventually didn't turnout as expected. Fortunately, as a previous Stylist once said: "Do you know the difference between a good haircut and a bad one?... About 10 days!" And of course he was right. Let's hope this isn't another one of those times I thought. It went sorta like this: Yelped. Google-mapped. Called. Made appointment. Showed-up about 45 minutes later. Met by the shop owner, I was quickly introduced to one of 2 female Stylists. Van. Her name is Van and her name is worth remembering. She asked what kind of haircut I was looking for, and as I told her in some detail, she listened and looked more carefully at what I walked in with. Her questions & comments indicated that she actually listened to my requests. Refreshing. And later, as she proceeded to cut & style my hair, she made reference to this point or that point that I had made earlier. She actually cut my hair using scissors & a comb, never introducing electric clippers until she was doing the after cut cleanup. I was both pleased & surprised as electric clipper haircuts seem to be the norm around here. The result was the Best Cut-n-Style I've had in Austin. The shop is small but ez to find. Plenty of parking. Priced to please with Excellent Service, and a focus on satisfying the expectations of me, the Customer. Highly recommended. read more
