I walked in and was greeted by many women with huge smiles on their faces. The atmosphere and vibe were that of a welcoming home. Somewhere you can come to relax and get pampered. My stylin hair dresser was kylene. She did wonders on my hair. This girl knows how to fade. They have sinks to wash your hair they can wax your brows. Basically, for anything that you need as far as cosmetology goes. Needless to say, this is where I am, and I will keep going to get my hair cut. I was blown away with how much I was charged for color, cut and products that were 10 each. It was my fault for not asking exactly what I was being charged for, but looking at their prices, I thought how bad can I be. I don't think I will be going back. cut was not out of this world and color well, it was a little off then what I asked for, but again, Its my fault that I didn't open my mouth and ask. I keep thinking, What the hell, but its a learning experience. my hair is thin and short, didn't come out anything out of the ordinary for the amount I paid. next time ask and be aware of the charges! read more

This place was such a let down! Last summer my teenage daughter went in with my husband to have her hair highlighted which take several hours. My husband left because he had work calls to address - when he came back the total was over $500!!! Apparently, the hair dresser thought it was a great idea to ask a teenager if extra additional things were okay to addon during the session - mind you these all came with a charge. Not only that, they did not do a great job AT ALL! I could of done this at home for a fraction of the cost. Save your money and time, they will rob you. My husband had gone there several years and the owner didn't even try to really make things right. Offering salon products is not making things right. Knocking off the additional fees that a teenager approved would have been the right thing to do. If you want to get the job done for a great price go to Vibe Salon in Cedar Park. My husband asked me not to do this review but I don't owe this salon anything, they 100% took advantage of my husband and my teenager. read more

The atmosphere was great and the stylist was nice and chatty. I liked the relaxing space for hair washing and chilling while I waited my turn for a haircut. I wasn't as thrilled with the outcome of my haircut. I have some natural curl in the back and she used texturing in the back to lighten it up without talking to me about it beforehand. This made my hair extremely frizzy and I have difficulty styling it to cover up the frizz, especially with high humidity. I will be looking for another stylist who has more experience with curly hair. read more

This rating is for the Salon, but mostly for Sarah-one of the stylists. She is an absolute treasure. My husband and I stumbled upon her a few months back, he's always had a bad relationship with his hair. Always keeps it under a hat, (because he's thinning) but is required to have it clean/short for work. He walked in one day and by serendipity got Sarah as his stylist and for the first time in...probably ever, he RAVED about his haircut. He loved the wash and the scalp massage and the hot towel, and told me I needed to get in there! Sarah also did a spectacular job on me, BEST scalp massage EVER!!! And there's no weird transitional phase between when the time I get my hair cut to when it actually looks "normal". It looks great from the time I leave the chair, to the next time I'm in the chair. She's great at listening to what I want my hair to look like, and I always feel like a million bucks. Now to top it all off, we have my husband's kids for the summer, his younger (12 year old) son is VERY picky about his hair, but has a difficult time articulating now he wants it. He also has a difficult time connecting with strangers-to the point where last time he went for a haircut, he shut down entirely, and would not make eye contact or speak to anyone. Sarah's naturally positive, friendly personality got him talking, smiling, laughing, AND he trusted her with his hair and came away looking and feeling great! It was a freaking miracle. I can honestly recommend Sarah for men, women, AND children! She is amazing! read more

Alex is AMAZING! I started coming here when I moved to the area and of course it was during COVID, so the most awkward time to go into a business and rate service. However, Alex was able to make time to see me on the same day and was extremely personable and friendly. I love chatting and how amazing she is as a person and as a hair stylist she is absolutely phenomenal. After having my daughter, my thick curly hair seemed to become thin, fine, and dull with no volume. Since I started going to Alex 1.5 years ago though, she has brought my hair back to life! My hair is now back to being full and even healthier and shinier than ever before. Not to mention blonder! I had moved to Austin from out of state and needed a new salon to change my platinum blonde hair to a more natural color that would blend with my roots. I called other places but Stylin' was the only place to immediately offer to sit me down for a free consultation. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Sarah. She knew exactly what I wanted and made sure I understood what she was doing the entire process. She was attentive, upbeat, detail-oriented, and just overall amazing! I paid around $300 for color and cut which some may find pricey but considering Sarah spent nearly 4 hours on my hair to make it look so amazing, it was definitely worth it. I even bought some of the products that I watched her use and teach me about. The salon is clean (they sanitized at entry, exit, and in between) and all of the stylists are so friendly. Stylin took me in as a walk-in at the last minute. I wanted to cut my hair today because I heard that cutting by the moon cycles encourages growth. They hooked me up with Rhiana, a bubbly, knowledgeable beacon of style! I told her that I wanted to encourage hair growth, that I wanted to keep my length, but I needed an update to my "look," which at that point was an homage to soccer moms across America. The shampoo and condition session was nothing short of magical. She used organic products that smelled delish and massage my scalp in deliberate circular motions. I've been going to Blanca (owner of Stylin') for 12 years. She always takes amazing care of me! I change my hair a LOT (crazy colors, natural colors, ombré, etc) and I always LOVE how it turns out. She makes sure that what we're doing makes sense and had never damaged my hair. And trust me, with as much as I change my hair, it was a real risk. Lol Ive gone from black hair to blonde to red and never had any problems. Some stylists will do whatever without regard to how your hair will react, but not Blanca. She makes sure your hair is ON POINT, and that it stays healthy. Not only does Blanca take pride in making your hair look great, but she's a sweetheart as well. I used to feel unsure about getting my Asian hair colored. Obviously I cannot be a blonde but yet sticking to super dark brown is a tad boring. Anyway, I decided to take a plunge (again) and this time I super love the result. Victoria did my color and she is super sweet! I love how she kept me in the loop on every steps she took, she explain, asking questions and making sure that I will get the hair I want. She also did a great job trimming my hair. First time here and let me tell you....The talent in this salon went beyond my expectations, but the people are the upmost sweetest ladies I've ever met. They truly felt like family and treated everyone that walked in those doors as if they knew them for years. I am super picky when it comes to color and especially picky when it comes to a hair cut, but both Sarah's were amazing! The color was exactly what I wanted! Chocolate brown, with no red or orange hues.... doesn't sound hard right? But you would be amazed at how many other salons have gotten it wrong. My blow out was the best I've ever had done. She took her time drying my super thick water sucking hair!! All the other salons would leave me half way blown out and when humidity hits it's like you never gotten your hair blown out!
