Excellent cut and color from TeamFaires! I wasn't sure what I wanted exactly but I had a couple pictures and a dream of a shag with some cool colors. I cannot talk of this place more highly. Truly the nicest damn people you will ever meet. Any Hairstylist can be nice though, both Carrie and Ty are truly talented in hair as well. Carrie understands color theory like the back of her hand, she will be upfront with you if a hair pitch is not achievable with your hair care past, but will do everything In their power to make something arguably better than your original idea. Ty takes quality time to tend to your hair and listens to what you want. For anyone scared of getting haircuts, this is a safe place. They both actually listen to their clients and what they want. read more

I am so happy I found Team Fairies! Talented colorist and stylist couple with nearly 40 years combined experience between the two. They use products that are cruelty free, phosphate free, overall just better-for you products. I moved 2 months ago to Las Vegas, but I still am flying back once a month for work, so I plan my hair appt. At the same time. If you're looking for a place, come here! read more

Super nice place! Great vibes! Ty made sure every step of the way that he is doing what I wanted him to. I was very happy with the result. Just booked my next appointment. read more

Where should I start!?! This was the BEST experience I've ever had while getting my hair cut. I usually have a lot of anxiety when going to get my hair done but they made me feel at ease with the things I was asking, and the advice they were giving me on certain products I was using for my hair. Tyrel listened to my concerns with my hair and helped me work through what would be the best possible situation for my hair without having to just chop it all off. My hair seriously looks amazing now and I have so much confidence that was gone from the pandemic. They truly made me feel special and heard. It really helps that they just are such good hearted people. I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! read more

Carrie and Ty did a great job on my hair today. They talked me through the process and the products they use and the conversation was wonderful. I will definitely be back. read more

Let me start with saying that I haven't had a steady hairstylist in about 6 years. And boy have I missed it. Tyrell and Carrie were warm and welcoming. Tyrell asked lots of questions and we came to an agreement on the cut. I enjoyed their conversations and his attention to detail on my cut. I left there feeling like i just had a sit down with friends. So not only did I come out with much better looking hair I also came out with a smile on my face.. As long as they are in Pflugerville they've got my repeat business and my recommendation. read more

I LOVE Jesse! He is a fun person and I love fun hair! What I asked for was sassy and funky. I got exactly what I had been longing for ......I LOVE my hair! And I requested a "book online today"....OMFG Rec'd phone call from Carrie in less than 2 min. She gave me the available times, on the date I requested and the entire process for a reservation took less than 3 min. I'm not sure where else you can get this kind of response time. Bottom Line 5 stars out of 5 Cyndi W. read more

Being new in town, I was looking for a place where I could get a good haircut. Taking a look on Yelp, found this place with great reviews and decided to give it a chance. Enough to say I'll become a regular. The haircut was awesome, more than I expected and everyone were nice and made me feel welcome and comfortable. I was definitely lucky to get to this place in my first try! read more

Carrie was so nice and informative about colors that i could do with my hair. Tyrel did a great cut.

I enjoy these two so much that I purposefully schedule my color and cuts separately just so I have an excuse to go more often (that sounds a little creepy, but hear me out). I work and study 10-14hrs/day, 7days/week, so often times these appointments are my only real break. I have very long hair and Tyrel is the first stylist I've had in years that I know will not cut more hair off than agreed upon. The amazingly relaxing shampoo/scalp massage and fun conversation are great bonuses. And yet, he's efficient enough that I'm perfectly cut and styled in under an hour, no wasted time. Carrie is all around great as well. She is refreshingly passionate about what she does and it shows in the final product. The color looks flawless and my hair does not look or feel damaged at all. It's so nice to be able to relax and have a few laughs or insightful conversation, knowing that whatever these two are doing to my hair is going to be amazing. read more

Let me just say that I have been in the spa industry for over 24 years. I've lived in Atlanta, FL, SC and this is by far the BEST haircut I have ever had. My hair is one year post chemo grow in and super curly. I finally feel like I have a REAL style. You absolutely have a new customer. I can't wait to book some color next. I also love that they use ECO friendly products and color. I try very hard to be as green as possible. read more

If you book online be sure to ask for exactly what you want in the provided section. One time I asked for a Lemur and they actually had one there for me. All 3 of them were also dressed up in Hairy Potter robes and had magic wands. One of them cast a spell on me and I was levitating for about 2 minutes. As this was happening the lemur jumped into my arms. Truly, a magical experience. read more

I am so sad that I no longer live in the area, because I love this place! I felt super comfortable the whole time and love my haircut!

I don't post this lightly, y'all... with all seriousness in the world this is without a doubt one of the best haircuts I've had in my life AND one of the best salon experiences. We just hung out like friends, the pros did what they do best, and I got to actually relax instead of playing defense. There was no high-pressure up-sell. There was no hint of degrading what products I use, or why I shouldn't color my own hair, or any of the negativity I've come to know and expect from the other hair pros. Nobody tried to talk me out of the cut I wanted and into some crazy project they've just been waiting to do. NONE OF THAT. You know what there was? A positive, relaxing, fun environment. We talked about our dogs, what's going on in the world, gave restaurant suggestions, and you know what else? I got a really great, not good but GREAT, haircut. I normally don't like or care much about getting my hair cut, in fact I avoid it. However, I would return to this dynamic duo with no hesitation and I hope they will still have time for me once their clientele explodes exponentially, which it will and it is so well deserved! Thank you, Yelp, for suggesting this salon. To all of you out there reading this review, quit hunting around, this is where you need to go. Welcome to Pflugerville, Team Faires. We are so lucky to have you wonderful hair magicians here. read more

Since moving to Texas 3 years ago, I've been searching for a salon that felt like home. This is it! Carrie and Ty are wonderful! They both spent a good amount of time discussing what I was hoping to achieve with my cut and color. They use wonderful products (vegan, paraben free, and sustainable). My color and hair cut look fantastic! The best part is that the hours in the chair went by quickly as I was having so much fun just chatting and hanging out. I would highly recommend! read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Team Faires. Both Carrie and Tyler are masters at their craft. They listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations! I have been going to Carrie and Ty for my hair color and cut for over two years. They are by far the best I have ever had as color and cut stylists. When I found myself in a situation where I needed to make a change in hair stylists I asked the largest wholesale distributor in the Southwest of fine hair care products who they recommended. They said "we recommend Carrie Faires - she will always use products that will make your hair healthier - she will never put anything on your hair that will harm it". Well that's all I needed to hear as I have very long fine hair and I take very good care of it. It can be fried in the wrong hands. It was a natural next step to have Ty cut my hair and on every occasion he has cut my long layers perfectly where I experienced a rejuvenation and lifting with added body. Never ones to over sell treatments or products but they will always make superior recommendations when asked. Carrie even put a soft large roller permanent in my hair, which has both a base color and highlights, and I experienced a beautiful soft curl and added body. My hair has never broken or split after Carrie has touched my hair. I have received so many compliments on my color and cut that I have sent no less than 4-5 other people to them both as Ty's cut and blow outs are a show stopper. My boyfriend's hair has never looked so hipster and Ty really knew how to work with his face structure to maximize his look. I can't say enough nice things about the two of them. I personally like both of them and enjoy the fun and intellectual conversations when having my hair colored, cut and styled. Don't walk, run there as you will continue to use them again and again. PS they are extremely reasonably priced - you will be surprised and pleased. read more

Great studio with quality stylists! Very cool vibe and everyone was friendly and down to earth. Recently moved here and was looking for a solid stylist and I found one! Tyrel did a fantastic job with my cut and listened to what I wanted done. He helped me ease back into bangs instead of some drastic cut like I've had before. Excited to try some coloring from them in the future! Highly recommend them read more

After recent customer service issues at GreatClips (no surprise, right?) I decided to look for a new place to go on Yelp.
