Tina does an amazing job each time. She is always kind and is very understanding in what I want out of my hair. She has dyed my hair so many colors and each time she is careful and does as minimal damage as possible with the bleach (my natural hair is a very dark brown, almost black, and she got my entire head to light pink in one session without me going bald lol). Tina always achieves the color that I want and she cuts and styles my hair so cute! They always offer drinks and chips too, the service is just amazing. I've gotten my hair cut by Tina at her previous salon, but I'm so glad I found her at Lavish Salon! I love the way she cuts my hair and layers it. My hair is naturally pretty wavy and the way she layers my hair works with my hair type, so I rarely have to style it. I'm the type of person to cut my hair once a year and I typically get the same style, so I've never had a go-to hairdresser, but now when I think of who to go to, I immediately think lavish salon! 4 stars is top notch! Let's not forget that! I found Tina on Facebook Marketplace while trying to find someone who does good blondes and someone who is affordable. We made an appointment for $50 roots, $80 balayage which I thought was a steal (everyone's hair is different so don't quote me on this quote).I arrived and was waited on so well by both Tina and the other employee were offering me drinks, snacks, anything they could think of. The space was decorated super cool and I liked that it was in downtown Pfluggerville which I think has character. I love the little boutiques and of course the West pecan coffee right there. Anyways, I loved my consultation with Tina. We went through photos, she inspected the condition of my hair and I was super impressed with the things she was saying/suggesting. Whenever I say "just do whatever", I say that hoping they know better than I do what's best for me and do it, this usually fails. Today was different I really liked what Tina had to say without me even asking. She knew what would look best for why I had to work with to where around I wanted to be. I was excited to see the end result just from her talking about what she was going to do. It seemed to be going great! But 3.5 hours later I was starting to get worried. I have to pay for a sitter and pick up kids from school so my time and money were slowly slipping away. Maybe 3-4 clients came and went. All who obviously didn't need all the highlights and services that I did but I couldn't help but wonder if it was pushing my time longer and longer. 5.5 hours later I was rushing out hoping to make it to get my kids. But most importantly I was and am HAPPY!!! I do love my hair!!!! So at 5.5 hours: It was $160, plus tip was $192, plus my sitter $40.... so while I was trying to save money I spent much more than I anticipated and blew all the errands I had hoped to get done. I'm used to 3 hours, I know these things take time but in the 20 years of highlighting and bleaching I had never been anywhere for more than 3.5 and that was with a cut which I now realize I failed to ask for or get but there wasn't time anyways. She did take extra care with my fine and damaged hair which I'm sure was the time but I would have loved to have known this. I appreciate Tina's time and care for my hair, I do and I love it! So why deduct a star you ask? I felt like she was rushing around, yet I was there for 5.5 hours. I loved her shampoo and head massage but again I felt like it was rushed. I am not a fan of the shampoo bowl, I had to hold my head up a lot which was hard for me and I've not had to do that before, although the foot rest was nice. I wish she would have told me during the consultation what the price might be AND the time it would take to lift me to get me to where I wanted to be. For me, with a cut, everything I had done and a tip I would have been well over $200 which I'm not willing to pay unless I'm in the type of salon where I would expect to pay that. So GO, go see Tina and their super cool space but ask about time and cost. My fail for not, I just never anticipated anything like this from my past experiences. Also, I would have liked a glass of wine if I would have known how long I'd be there, or would have gone next door for the pedicure. read more

Well the wife has been in the hunt for a go to hair place and she thinks this may be it..John was the one who cut her hair...she wanted long layers and she said he did it right..he informed her she had no layers in the back...which apparently happened at the last place...he checked his work 3 times..over all she is very happy with the results a week later. read more

Reinstalled yelp just so I could rave about how amazing Debbie is! I go to her for lip blushing, which I had done in the past and didn't like bc the color faded to nothing in weeks and had it done twice. With Debbie she actually listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I wanted. I love red lips and that's what She's trying to achieve. It's a process but I am very pleased with how they're turning out. My lips went from super pale to to flushed and ppl I know have noticed. The color really brings out the shape of my lips and adds so much fullness and definition! Debbie is supper sweet and does what she enjoys very well. I can't wait to get my next session and am in love with my lips. If u have any reservations about lip blush, don't. Debbie will take care of u and u will love ur lasting results. I had my eyebrows micro shaded here and they've never looked better. I have been to two different places and they don't compare to here, she measured my eyebrows and shaded them in to make sure I was 100% happy with the work before she filled them in. Best place to go for eyelash extensions. I have asian lashes which are really straight and thin, I never could find a place that looked natural and lasted more than 1 week. I found Debbie a couple months ago and I don't trust anyone else with my lashes! I get the volume set and every time I go in I have great conversation with her and am SO happy with my lashes. If I could give this place no stars I would. Now I have gone to a lot of Hair salons with the kind of hair I like to keep up with and this time around I wanted to try someone new and closer to my home. Well everything was okay the person I was txting with was very nice over the phone. Here comes the appointment date and I show up on time and walk in to a hair stylist looking at me crazy and asking how she can help. I informed her of my name and told her I had a appointment at 10:00 am. She looked completely confused I then showed her the txt and she still didn't believe me so she checked her appointment book and come to find out she had not made note of it. She hastily ask me to sit down even then ok that is fine. But she then started to look at my hair and tell me what was wrong with it and what we had agreed on is not something she can do. This went on for about 5 min so I then ask her ok what can you do? She say nothing, keep in mind I had already sent her multiple pictures. I was completely surprised it felt like she was just telling to get me out of the way because there was another client there when I came in and from her reaction seemed she double booked us completely disappointed. read more
