For context, I got the instagram marketing for the Keratin Eyebrow lamination and tint. So I made…read morean appointment online for 6pm. I show up promptly at 6. No one greeted me when I walked in. I noticed the check in sign so I checked in on the IPad and sat down. After a few minutes, one of the employees asked me if I checked in. I responded that I had, and that I had an appointment for a lamination and tint. She said okay. They asked me to have a seat in the chair. I asked the employee if I could get eyebrows shaped by waxing instead of threading. She said it was fine. She then said "I'm going to wax first and then do the lamination". I thought that was weird because every other time I've had a lamination, the solution goes on first and the shaping is usually after. She proceeds to put the lamination solution on and brushing the brow hairs. I have no issues with the process at this point but it's the opposite of what she said she was going to do. To clarify, my eyebrows are lightened with bleach to be a brownish color, so I asked for brown tint not black. The employee didn't seem to understand my request.. She ends up showing me the color she's going to use and says it "medium brown". I said okay with confidence and felt better about the situation. my brows are soft black, dark and don't match my hair. The shape is very nice I will say I enjoy the shaping. The process was painless and took right under an hour. Had they used the right color tint I would be so much happier. My eyebrows have gone through it all - they've been plucked, waxed, shaved, tinted, and threaded. I participated in the Kate-Moss-eyebrow fad, and my eyebrows never fully recovered. Mine are sparse in areas, and the shape was never fully realized. I became fairly decent at drawing on brows, but whenever I wasn't wearing eyebrow makeup, I felt self-conscious, and unattractive... unkempt, I guess. I pretty much didn't go in public without doing my brows. Enter K Beauty Brows and wonderful Hae, an eyebrow artist! I arrived at her salon, which was clean and cute, and she got right to work. She explained everything and answered any questions I had, and then began measuring and doing other scientific things to find out where my eyebrows should be, how far they should extend, where the arch should be, etc. She took this very seriously, which I very much appreciated, and took time to redo things as needed so we would get the best results. She showed me her plans in the mirror, I approved, and it was go time! The tools used look scarier than they end up feeling, for anyone freaked out. Hae told me she was starting the microblading process, and after a couple minutes I asked if she had started yet (she had) because it was so painless! She uses a numbing gel, and can always add more if needed. For the most part, the microblading/microshading work was noticeable but not painful - a 1 on a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being most painful). I would say the most painful part was when Hae had to put slight pressure on my eye to get a good angle! It's now been two weeks since I got my new brows, and I'm so so happy. They healed quickly; a little bit of flaking and soreness but they are fully healed now and faded to a beautiful color and natural intensity. Hae gives you an after-care kit with everything you need for proper healing. I have never worn much makeup, but as mentioned earlier, I always did my eyebrows. Not anymore!! I can't explain the feeling of waking up, brushing my teeth and washing my face - that's it for my morning routine! Quick run to grocery store? Not a problem because I look cute. Guy I'm dating sleeps over? Awesome because I look cute when I wake up.
