I made the appointment online and clicked on partial highlights. I went with the young lady I had made the appointment for. While i was having my hair cut she got highlights. When i was done i looked over and noticed it was a full. I told her we asked for partial. She said she would discount it at the end. When the total was wrung up our 80 visit was 140. She took $5 off. This place is a hidden gem and super affordable. It's not the fanciest establishment but the cuts and styling that is produced by these stylist is awesome to say the least. It was our first time here. We called they told us to come right over. Wanted to get my 2yo and 4yo's hair cut .. but couldn't do an appointment as I find it difficult to plan around the kids unpredictabilities. This place was great - they took in walk ins .. we had no wait. They were quick and kids look adorable!!! As my husband and me waited - he got himself a haircut too! So it was a win win!! Kathy is great and although my haircut needs are simple, she is very reliable and always pleasant. She is a good conversationalist if you are in the mood but she will also go about her work politely if you have things on your mind. I do have to call ahead to confirm when she is working. We didn't have an appointment and the place that does kid's haircuts nearby told me we would have "at least" a 45 minute wait and they seemed rather put out with me coming in at all with no appointment. So I walked over to Creative Cuts. After a short wait we were called back. My son hates haircuts. It's always a fight and usually kind of embarrassing for me and traumatizing for us both. The stylist was so calm and kind to us. She listened to what we wanted and did an amazing job, especially considering how much my kid was wiggling and moving. I love this place. I've been getting my hair cut with Hong ever since I was a little kid. No joke. It's like a family experience. That's how friendly everyone is. Hey, old habits die hard. Plus, it's close to my parent's house. Think about. I can get my haircut and possibly a free meal. Who wouldn't take that offer? The prices are cheap, 13.95 for a Men's cut. I don't get my hair cut very often. Maybe once a year, or even every couple years. That's now "non-girlie" I am. So I'm always a little intimidated by the prospect of a cut/style, but my hair was getting too long and annoying and way overdue for a trim, so I decided to just see what places were open on a Sunday and could squeeze me in on short notice. I called this place because it wasn't very far, and thankfully they didn't insist I make an appointment -- just told me to come by. I drove right over and waited less than 5 minutes before I was seated with Cierra. She was friendly, listened to what I wanted, made some suggestions, but wasn't pushy or insistent. We chatted amicably while she cut my hair, and it turns out that we share a lot of interests: crafting, graphic design, beading/jewelry-making. I guess hair-cutting is just another one of her many artistic talents! She cut my hair shoulder-length and added some layers for fullness, and when I decided I wanted a little more of a change, she gave me some bangs that I could easily sweep to the side. Overall, I love it -- it's exactly what I wanted and frames my face well, but still long enough to pull into a ponytail when I don't feel like messing with it. All I got was a cut so I can't comment on the other services, but I enjoyed my experience and would be happy to go back in the future -- in a year or so when I'm overdue for another haircut! read more

Unfortunately stylists are dishonest and won't be coming back. We call on the phone an hour beforehand and they say young girls cut is $11.95. Cool, make appointment and go in. After she finishes I ask them to fix it up some uneven ends. She says it's like that, whatever I'll just fix it when we go home. Find out at the register it's $15. I ask not 12 like your sign says? I just walked out of Creative Cuts after an amazing experience. Mary did absolutely perfect on my hair cut! First, let's talk about the shampoo...it was a spa-like scalp massage! She really took her time. I have been to plenty fancy hair salons and none of them did this great of a job! The hair cut was great, everything looks pretty and perfect! Just got my hair cut here for the first time. My stylist was really friendly and did a great job. Despite the waiting area being full when I got in, I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. It cost $13ish for a women's hair cut, so not even half of what a salon normally charges. Also, they had openings on the weekend, unlike apparently every other salon in Cedar Park. i was a walk in and the stylist took care of me. i felt bad my baby was being fussy and she was trying to calm her down by making her laugh. she listened to what i told her and cut my hair exactly how i wanted. The positive Yelp reviews led to me this location while I was venturing away from the safety of my local area for specific necessities. I was trying to find a convenient location for my son and I to get a good cut. Convenient is exactly what it was! We were accepted with little to no wait and were in and out in a jiffy. Quickest haircut ever. Which in and of itself is not a bad thing, but the quality associated with the quickness was not very high. My son's haircut was uneven, so noticeably bad that I had to fix it with clippers once we were home. When we first arrived I asked if she could perform a hard line, she responded with yes. The stylist was not even able to execute a "Hard line" for my son's part. When I asked her to fix it, she said she was not a barber, that was the best she could do. The nice stylist on the other side of the store came over to see what we were discussing and said she could fix it. This is the reason for the 2nd star. I would never come back to this place for a haircut. Unfortunately I do not recall the name of our stylist. I am hoping that this was just a case of one bad stylist... read more

I was able to get an appt at last minute for a cut only. When I arrived the staff was friendly and my stylist offered to go ahead a color my hair too (my roots were bad showing). The place is clean but wish it was more modern and updated. A wide variety of customers come in too. I was there for about 3 hrs and several older ladies, men, and younger adults came in. My stylist said they get alot of kids too because their kid cuts are cheaper than the special kids salon near by. The place was okay but after getting home later and looking at my hair, I can say I love the cut. For the color however, I thought she could have added more highlights to blend my roots with the new color. No one can tell I paid the money to color my hair.
