I had my hair done by Hailee. She did an amazing job. I absolutely love my hair! She was pleasant to talk to, and she was very knowledgeable about hair. The shampoo process felt very good. This store is quite beautiful, it has a sitting area in front. They sell women's clothing and accessories. They have many stalls. I will definitely be back to Hailee for my next haircut Thanks Hailee! read more

The place is clean. The lady was friendly except when she left me to go do someone else and acted like I was ridiculous for hating it. I have only been to a salon to get my hair bleached twice in my life. I know how to bleach my own hair. I went here because my mom goes here and recommended It. First off I scheduled an appmt over the phone for 3pm on a Tuesday. I show up. They go oh you don't have an appointment. Ok. They didn't offer to make it better. They didn't discount me or work me in. They just said come back tomorrow. Ok. Came back for a scheduled bleach and toner. I said I don't want gray or yellow/orange. I said I don't like silver or old lady white. I just want an ashy blonde that doesn't look yellow. Hannah bleached my hair. I told her it burned the entire time and she said that's normal. Ok. I had claustrophobia and she didn't care at all or offer to stop and rinse it out. I even asked can we skip my scalp and she just laughed. Ok Then came the toner. She put me off onto another person to do the toner because she'd double booked herself and that person was more important apparently. So she goes to cut and blow dry and shampoo other people while leaving me with an assistant. The toner came out yellow which is what I didn't want. So she tells her assistant to do it again. They do a different toner and it was burning so while she was washing someone else's hair I asked can someone come rinse this out? And she said ok. And she rinsed it out. Guess her assistant left. Then we go blow dry it. And I'm immediately shocked. To tears. It was like senior gray hair. Absolutely hated it. I looked like I was wearing a wig. Her solution - dawn dish soap. That's what she said to do. I don't even use dawn to wash dishes. I'm not putting it on my head. They charged me over $200 for something l said I didn't like cause it made me look like a senior. After THREE hours of an appointment I left crying in my car with a throbbing headache from the chemicals and my scalp feels burnt and my hair feels brittle as a crisp. The place reeks of formaldehyde and chemicals and there are no air purifiers or ventilation. I am posting what I asked for. The cut and color. And I'm posting what she did. My mom sees Tori and I've heard Tori does a good job. They should invest in air purifiers. I washed my hair out 7 times and got most of the gray out. Besides feeling like an unwanted client by how I was treated, I've heard other people have good experiences. Guess it's my luck. Hopefully you have a better experience. read more

I love that I can book a last-minute appointment here and they always make it work! I got full highlights with Elizabeth Morgan and she was fantastic. She really listened to what I wanted and nailed it. My curls were my biggest concern, but they came out softer and even more defined than before. The color is gorgeous--so happy with the results. Makayla is amazing! I recently moved to this side of Georgetown and booked with Makayla online (which I love to book online). I originally went in to just get a cut but liked her so much that I booked while I was there for highlights a week or so later. Makayla is so kind and patient. I have long hair past my shoulders and usually spend A LOT of money to get a cut and highlights. The price was very reasonable and I was very happy with the results. The salon is also very "posh"! Love my hair! If you're looking for a great salon and great stylist... go see Makayla!!! read more

I am so very pleased with my visit to Posh Salon. It was very easy and convenient to make an appointment on-line. My appointment was with Brenda. The haircut she gave me made it easy to care for and style my hair. Jada waxed and tinted my eyebrows and did a really great job. I will definitely be returning to Posh for services! additional services. read more

I just moved to Georgetown and was looking for a new salon for the long-term. I ended up having a bad experience at Posh in Georgetown. The only thing I asked for was for her not to cut the back of my hair but the left back side was chopped in one place and is now uneven. It's gonna take a long time to grow out evenly. I am very upset about this considering I paid $75 and did not appreciate Alex texting on the phone while she was cutting my hair. A bad experience all the way around now I'm left with uneven hair So I'm replying to the business owner. I appreciate you contacting me back however, my hair cannot be glued back on when I pay for service I expect to get what I asked for but I do appreciate you getting back with me. It's a lot of money to throw away and have a bad haircut . Hope you have a nice day. read more

Lucky enough to score a same day appointment for a long over due haircut and couldn't be more pleased. Lindey was fantastic - listened to what I shared. Gave advice and suggestions. I think this place was meant for old Karen's to be honest. I recommended my sister in law and my mother in law to come here since we all just recently moved to the area. We all had a.. not so fun experience. Mind you, we all came on separate days and booked the same person but we ended up getting different people. I think it just depends on your race and if you're skinny.. kinda sad. Just bad vibes. read more

When you request appointment online and the stylist gets changed on you is not cool as you will be charged a 50.00 fee if you cancel it .I spent all weekend trying to read the reviews of stylist and I picked my stylist by that . I ended up with a stylist that seemed pretty new at this . And this is the worst haircut I have ever had . I have no layers which I asked for several times my bangs are really messed up and no texture . Not only that when I went to go pay for they were going to charge me The rate that I made appointment with instead the rate of the person who did the hair . As they charge by the level of hairstylist . read more

My stylist had moved to Chicago. I went back to this new salon a second time to see Natalee again. It takes a while to get on the same page with a new stylist. She had done a good job the last time and I liked her. I took the same photo I gave her the first time. She asked me how it worked out for me and I told her I didn't want her to do any thinning this time. I have baby fine hair as it is. She asked questions but came up with reasons on all of my answers about how I was wrong or it wouldn't work. It is the same cut I have had for several years and it does work with my hair. She told me I wasn't communicating well. I can be brassy at times but this was not one of them. I finally had to nicely ask her to please stop cutting. She dumped all the hair on the cape down the back of my neck and the front of my blouse. I was covered in hair. There was so much hair on me that even a stranger pointed it out in a store so I had to go home and change. It really isn't a bad cut. It just looks very masculine and unflattering on me. It will grow back. read more

WORST Experience! ALEX is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! I waited 6 WEEKS for APPT. Over the phone, I was told the appt. time was 1:30 pm. It's even written down in my calendar as such. I drove 25 min. to get there. Arrived at 1:10 pm. I told the receptionist, "I know I'm early; I'm here to see ALEX." Several minutes later, the receptionist told me, "Alex left. bcs your appt was at 12:45 pm, she left to pick her kids up." I said, why didn't you tell me sooner? She said she didn't know. I said Alex left and DIDN'T TELL YOU. I was scheduled for a highlight, cut, & style. That's approx. a THREE Hr appt. Why didn't someone call me to confirm the appt. today OR Call to tell me Alex is leaving and if I want to reschedule? OR I would have understood if Alex had said, "Hey, sorry about the mix-up. I only have time for the haircut now. Had someone called me earlier, I would not have wasted time driving here. {{I have never been to this salon before, but based on reviews, I waited 6 wks for an appointment that I never received}} POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND. read more

The first time I went Natalie did my hair. I was cut was exactly what I wanted so I booked another appointment the day before my husband's retirement (morning) ceremony. The day before Natalie texts me saying she was under the weather. I was in the middle of welcoming guest (from all over the U.S.), checking on catering, and everything else that comes with a 35 year military retirement ceremony. I can not elaborate on how disappointed I was. I would have asked for me to wash my hair prior to coming in and wore a mask. I was elated to fine a salon I like a few miles from home. This was not a great welcome to Texas. read more

Wasn't happy with the blonde hair coloring that they gave me. It was really horrendous..

Save your money and hair, DO NOT go to Alex Saucedo. I clearly stated that I wanted a balayage, did not want to go too blonde too fast to avoid damage, and that I had color treated hair previously, so I was willing to do multiple sessions to reach my color goal. Over the past couple months I've noticed a ton of breakage, a different stylist at a salon in Leander let me know that there has been significant damage done. Alex skipped the consultation, let my hair process for almost 50 minutes. I was watching the time because it was just us two in the salon and I was getting worried. I was so unhappy because it did not look anything like what I wanted, but now I know for sure that she rushed and did major damage that I have to get fixed elsewhere. It looks like I have weird highlights and she dyed the underneath brown for some reason?? I hate it. I regret tipping her but I'm not a confrontational person so I don't feel comfortable telling her to her face that her work sucks. Not every stylist is trustworthy or does good work. I am still on the search for a new stylist unfortunately. read more

Great cut. I shared a photo, which I have done in most salons. Brandy asked what I wanted And double checked about every detail of the short style. When she was confident she knew exactly what I wanted, she cut my hair expertly. Best cut I've had in 10 years in Georgetown. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. Awesome service as well as excellent stylist receptionist was there as soon as I walked in. No waiting at all. if you're looking for a short hair stylist, Brandy is definitely worth every $ read more

Worst haircut of my life here. I went home & cried, honestly. None of the layers are even, left side is longer than the right by A LOT. Left side tucks behind my ear, right side has layers & one that's above my ear by a few inches! Not even remotely close or even blended in anyway. This is after I brought in 2 pictures of what I wanted! Just a total miss. I mentioned when I first noticed that my hair was super uneven & I got a nonchalant answer of "oh I'll see if anything needs to be touched up when I dry it". It's messed up A LOT! I am going to have to go elsewhere for it to be "fixed" although it'll probably take a year to grow it out and really have it fixed. UGH, what a nightmare. read more

After going to the same hairstylist for over 25 years I decided I needed to change things up a little. I also moved to Georgetown and didn't want to go all the way to Austin anymore. I read the reviews for all the stylists at Posh Salon and honestly, they all pretty much sounded good so I booked with Brandy, the owner. Let me first start out by saying Candace, the individual stylist is great, super professional and friendly. However, to get to Candace you have to go through the girls working at the front desk and they are difficult to communicate with as they're short tempered and very rude. I come from Beverly Hills, CA-I know rude when I see em. Although, what is ironic is you wouldn't find rude hair salon stylist/front desk reps in BH even though it seems like the territory. I am originally brunette and dye my hair blonde and add in extensions so it's safe to say im in and out of the salon quite a bit and have had plenty of experiences. I have never had one such as this with Posh Salon Cedar Park. From my first consultation appointment, all the way until now, I got treated like I was less of a client. Don't know what merit it's based off of, but either way I don't appreciate it. No hospitality walking in, no offering of the restroom, or any water or coffee. Oh ya, and theres no wifi?? So to sit down at a 4-5 hour appointment....I mean weird. Not that these are all deal breakers, but it does make the experience less comfortable. When I arrived at my appointment for a full head of highlights yesterday they shouted "name" to which I answered and then told me to get out of another clients way, when they were late for my appointment not once but now twice. Every time I go there, or call, I am treated like I am ordering a burger or something. My last experience was to get a full set of highlights, and I felt like Candace was very professional-the part that bothered me was arriving there and their treatment and then after the fact. They double booked Candace for something and she had some assistant tone my hair. Well the assistant over toned my hair and I came out a dark ashy blonde which was not even close to the photo I showed. All the while when I was in the bowl the assistant kept mumbling about how she didn't know what she was doing, and it shows. Candance finished me off and she curled my hair and for the most part the highlights showed in nicely, but the roots and the back were very ashy and really not my prefered taste. When I called the next day the representative at the front desk wouldn't even hear me out, cut me off and said they would take a message. And being organized the way I am, I asked when that message would be returned and they gave me a big "I don't know." So I furthermore, contacted Candace via instagram (which I am sure she'll get too-but it's frustrating I have to social media stalk someone to get any sort of service out of this salon). All and all, I paid a total with tip of $400, and I think I am entitled to 1. get my hair fixed the way I wanted it in the consult 2. BETTER SERVICE!! I hope this review serves everyone well and personally i am looking forward to a reply from this salon because she don't seem to respond well to criticism in person and or over the phone so it will be interesting to see them justify this public yelp review. If anything, I would like a CALL BACK and some better treatment. read more

Chelsey applied my makeup for my wedding day, and I don't even have the words to say how beautifully she did. I honestly have never felt more pretty or special before, and it was all due to her amazing skills! I hardly ever trust people to do my make-up because I've had some pretty disappointing outcomes (eeek), but Chelsey went above and beyond what I had hoped for. Thank you, lady :) read more

Posh is great! I've just moved to the Georgetown/Austin area and I had to leave a stylist I loved and I had been with for years, so naturally I was nervous when I had to find someone new who could cut my hair well without it looking like I had just gotten a $5 haircut or having to spend half my paycheck to look professional. Luckily I was introduced to Faith soon after I moved here and she was just the stylist I was looking for! She's very friendly and you can tell she's very passionate about what she does. She wants you to leave with cut you want and will work with you to insure she gets it right. She is very knowledgeable in her craft, which I like, because thats going to show through in the cut. Couldn't be happier! The Posh salon is very nice itself! To be honest, the name did throw me off at first. I thought I might be a little uncomfortable because it might be too nice for someone like me (I work out of a rough, dirty powerlifting/CrossFit gym, but I like my hair to look nice every once and a while ) but this place turned out to be great! Not to over the top. Just a nice, clean little salon tucked away in Georgetown. I found my place. Thanks Faith! read more

I discovered Posh Salon and my new stylist, Brandt, on Tuesday of this week. Like many others, an unfortunate experience at another salon is what led me to Posh, but I'm so happy it did! It's always nice to be pleasantly surprised by new experiences and Posh is a GREAT new experience! The salon is clean, the stylists all seem friendly and the prices are appropriate. My bridesmaids and I got our hair and makeup done at Posh for the wedding. They did a great job! I loved my hairstyle and it stayed all night, even through lots of dancing. The only small issues were with my eye makeup. It was a lot darker than I like it, so I had to lighten it up and my false eyelashes had to be re-glued before the ceremony started because they started peeling off.
