I just moved to Georgetown and was looking for a new salon for the long-term. I ended up having a bad experience at Posh in Georgetown. The only thing I asked for was for her not to cut the back of my hair but the left back side was chopped in one place and is now uneven. It's gonna take a long time to grow out evenly. I am very upset about this considering I paid $75 and did not appreciate Alex texting on the phone while she was cutting my hair. A bad experience all the way around now I'm left with uneven hair So I'm replying to the business owner. My stylist had moved to Chicago. I went back to this new salon a second time to see Natalee again. It takes a while to get on the same page with a new stylist. She had done a good job the last time and I liked her. I took the same photo I gave her the first time. She asked me how it worked out for me and I told her I didn't want her to do any thinning this time. I have baby fine hair as it is. She asked questions but came up with reasons on all of my answers about how I was wrong or it wouldn't work. It is the same cut I have had for several years and it does work with my hair. She told me I wasn't communicating well. I can be brassy at times but this was not one of them. I finally had to nicely ask her to please stop cutting. She dumped all the hair on the cape down the back of my neck and the front of my blouse. I was covered in hair. There was so much hair on me that even a stranger pointed it out in a store so I had to go home and change. It really isn't a bad cut. It just looks very masculine and unflattering on me. WORST Experience! ALEX is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! I waited 6 WEEKS for APPT. Over the phone, I was told the appt. time was 1:30 pm. It's even written down in my calendar as such. I drove 25 min. to get there. Arrived at 1:10 pm. I told the receptionist, "I know I'm early; I'm here to see ALEX." Several minutes later, the receptionist told me, "Alex left. bcs your appt was at 12:45 pm, she left to pick her kids up." I said, why didn't you tell me sooner? She said she didn't know. I said Alex left and DIDN'T TELL YOU. I was scheduled for a highlight, cut, & style. That's approx. a THREE Hr appt. Why didn't someone call me to confirm the appt. today OR Call to tell me Alex is leaving and if I want to reschedule? OR I would have understood if Alex had said, "Hey, sorry about the mix-up. I only have time for the haircut now. The first time I went Natalie did my hair. I was cut was exactly what I wanted so I booked another appointment the day before my husband's retirement (morning) ceremony. The day before Natalie texts me saying she was under the weather. I was in the middle of welcoming guest (from all over the U.S.), checking on catering, and everything else that comes with a 35 year military retirement ceremony. Save your money and hair, DO NOT go to Alex Saucedo. I clearly stated that I wanted a balayage, did not want to go too blonde too fast to avoid damage, and that I had color treated hair previously, so I was willing to do multiple sessions to reach my color goal. Over the past couple months I've noticed a ton of breakage, a different stylist at a salon in Leander let me know that there has been significant damage done. Alex skipped the consultation, let my hair process for almost 50 minutes. I was watching the time because it was just us two in the salon and I was getting worried. I was so unhappy because it did not look anything like what I wanted, but now I know for sure that she rushed and did major damage that I have to get fixed elsewhere. It looks like I have weird highlights and she dyed the underneath brown for some reason?? I hate it. I regret tipping her but I'm not a confrontational person so I don't feel comfortable telling her to her face that her work sucks. Not every stylist is trustworthy or does good work. Worst haircut of my life here. I went home & cried, honestly. None of the layers are even, left side is longer than the right by A LOT. Left side tucks behind my ear, right side has layers & one that's above my ear by a few inches! Not even remotely close or even blended in anyway. This is after I brought in 2 pictures of what I wanted! Just a total miss. I mentioned when I first noticed that my hair was super uneven & I got a nonchalant answer of "oh I'll see if anything needs to be touched up when I dry it". It's messed up A LOT! Let me first start out by saying Candace, the individual stylist is great, super professional and friendly. However, to get to Candace you have to go through the girls working at the front desk and they are difficult to communicate with as they're short tempered and very rude. I come from Beverly Hills, CA-I know rude when I see em. Although, what is ironic is you wouldn't find rude hair salon stylist/front desk reps in BH even though it seems like the territory. I am originally brunette and dye my hair blonde and add in extensions so it's safe to say im in and out of the salon quite a bit and have had plenty of experiences. I have never had one such as this with Posh Salon Cedar Park. From my first consultation appointment, all the way until now, I got treated like I was less of a client. Don't know what merit it's based off of, but either way I don't appreciate it. No hospitality walking in, no offering of the restroom, or any water or coffee. Oh ya, and theres no wifi?? So to sit down at a 4-5 hour appointment....I mean weird. Not that these are all deal breakers, but it does make the experience less comfortable. When I arrived at my appointment for a full head of highlights yesterday they shouted "name" to which I answered and then told me to get out of another clients way, when they were late for my appointment not once but now twice. Every time I go there, or call, I am treated like I am ordering a burger or something. My last experience was to get a full set of highlights, and I felt like Candace was very professional-the part that bothered me was arriving there and their treatment and then after the fact. They double booked Candace for something and she had some assistant tone my hair. Well the assistant over toned my hair and I came out a dark ashy blonde which was not even close to the photo I showed. All the while when I was in the bowl the assistant kept mumbling about how she didn't know what she was doing, and it shows. Candance finished me off and she curled my hair and for the most part the highlights showed in nicely, but the roots and the back were very ashy and really not my prefered taste. When I called the next day the representative at the front desk wouldn't even hear me out, cut me off and said they would take a message. And being organized the way I am, I asked when that message would be returned and they gave me a big "I don't know." So I furthermore, contacted Candace via instagram (which I am sure she'll get too-but it's frustrating I have to social media stalk someone to get any sort of service out of this salon). All and all, I paid a total with tip of $400, and I think I am entitled to 1. get my hair fixed the way I wanted it in the consult 2. BETTER SERVICE!! I hope this review serves everyone well and personally i am looking forward to a reply from this salon because she don't seem to respond well to criticism in person and or over the phone so it will be interesting to see them justify this public yelp review. If anything, I would like a CALL BACK and some better treatment. read more

I didn't have any photos with me of what I wanted my make-up to look like, so I simply told her what my dress looked like, and she applied my make-up so perfectly to match the style of my dress and wedding. I've just moved to the Georgetown/Austin area and I had to leave a stylist I loved and I had been with for years, so naturally I was nervous when I had to find someone new who could cut my hair well without it looking like I had just gotten a $5 haircut or having to spend half my paycheck to look professional. Luckily I was introduced to Faith soon after I moved here and she was just the stylist I was looking for! She's very friendly and you can tell she's very passionate about what she does. She wants you to leave with cut you want and will work with you to insure she gets it right. She is very knowledgeable in her craft, which I like, because thats going to show through in the cut. Couldn't be happier! The Posh salon is very nice itself! To be honest, the name did throw me off at first. I thought I might be a little uncomfortable because it might be too nice for someone like me (I work out of a rough, dirty powerlifting/CrossFit gym, but I like my hair to look nice every once and a while ) but this place turned out to be great! My bridesmaids and I got our hair and makeup done at Posh for the wedding. They did a great job! I loved my hairstyle and it stayed all night, even through lots of dancing. The only small issues were with my eye makeup. It was a lot darker than I like it, so I had to lighten it up and my false eyelashes had to be re-glued before the ceremony started because they started peeling off.
