Nancy is an excellent colorist and stylist! This caliber of talent is a rarity, and even harder to find without a personal referral or "being in the know", which is why I decided to write this review. I know all to well the struggles of looking for a stylist in a new area and learning the hard way who has talent and who should put the scissors down! I have curly hair and wanted a lighter color without damage. She was able to accomplish this with gorgeous color (NO BLEACH, NO DAMAGE) and I seriously do not go a day without compliments from strangers on my hair. Also, I have typical Puerto Rican hair which tends to be very curly and a bit unruly (in a good way :-D). Curly hair folks out there know it can be disastrous going to even an experienced stylist if she/he has not conquered the skill of cutting curls. Nancy has a special technique that allows for great shape, not the dreaded "triangle head". I have referred several of my friends to Nancy and all of them have been ecstatic with her work and of course become long time clients. That in itself speaks volumes! I have always believed Nancy was a HAIR WHISPERER! I have been going to Nancy for my bair faithfully for almost 8 years now and I've never been disappointed. I just got my hair done last night and I fell in love yet again. She listens to what I want and takes my hair on a journey to achieve the look. It's beautiful and healthy. She also uses great products on my hair to help prevent damages. I'm always impressed to learn about new trainings she is attending to keep up with her techniques. I currently live in Killeen and no matter how far Nancy works it will always be WORTH the short drive to Georgetown! Nancy has been doing my hair for a couple of years now, we have been through many different cuts and colors and no matter what she also makes sure my hair is healthy. Nancy listens when I want a certain length chopped off which was a real problem with other stylists chopping off 4 inches when I only asked for 1.
