My favorite tacos and salsa on the island. The tacos look small but are fully loaded. Great location with parking close by.

I came here on a Tuesday with my partner. He is very particular about his Hispanic food so we…read moredecided to try this spot out as it was recommended by many. It is a small to mid sized spot, but still has a good amount of seating. Some window bar seats, and then about 6 tables with chairs and booth seats. The service style is similar to a take out spot (so very minimal), they do ask if you're dining in or taking out, but it seems like you order, seat yourself, and pick up your own food. They would wipe your table down per your request though. Also to note, they have a $3 taco Tuesday deal but it is ONLY for specific tacos AND only during specific hours on Tuesday. We weren't specifically going for the deal so it didn't matter to us, but manage your expectations if you were looking for a deal (esp since some of their tacos are quite pricey) We ordered: * Steak Quesadilla: 7.6/10 This was good, decently cheesy and the carne asada was pretty flavorful as well. * Carne Asada Taco: 7.2/10 Since it's the same steak as the quesadilla it was pretty good as well. I feel like the carne asada has more Asian flavors and spices than Hispanic. It was good regardless. * Carnitas Taco: 7/10 This was good too, similar to kalua pork. * Baja Fish Taco: 8.3/10 This was pretty solid. The fish tasted like it was good quality and the aioli (same as the camarones) was good pairing with the taco * Camarones Taco: 8.1/10 I liked this quite a lot, the cheese skirt brought a nice textual and flavor contrast to the rest of the taco, I also liked the aioli paired with it. If it had slightly more shrimp it would be even better * Horchata: 6/10, this was okay, kind of grainy. I enjoyed everything, my partner on the other hand thought most of the things were just okay. The only thing he really liked was the baja one. Also we would both note that instead of being topped with cilantro and onions, all the tacos had cabbage on top instead? (some had pico with it, some had a little bit of onion). I wouldn't mind coming back but I think my partner would rather not.

Steak was good but I think it's only the 3rd time ever eating a steak taco just personal preference rather have chicken or pork. Fish taco was good had a little spice to it. I have low tolerance for spice. Everything was very tasty and came with rice and beans. Added side order of sour cream. Cashier was friendly gave us recommendations. It gives mom and pop shop or family own shop. Place is a little run down but the food was good. Will definitely return

However, the margaritas felt a bit too light and mostly tasted like melted ice, which was a little disappointing. The food was okay overall, but there's definitely room to improve consistency and quality across the menu. We truly love supporting local spots, and hope they can fine-tune the drinks and food so the experience matches the great idea behind the business. Wishing them growth and better consistency moving forward.

It's really disappointing to write this, as my husband and I were huge fans of Aloha Mamacita when…read morethey first opened at their original location. The food was incredible, and the staff was always warm and welcoming. Even when prices were on the higher side, it was worth every penny. The last time I visited it was 8/12/26: Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably dropped over time. I recently brought a coworker here, promising her a great meal, and it was honestly embarrassing. I spent $75 on two Birria taco sets and two drinks. I understand inflation and price increases, but the experience was nowhere near the cost: Service: The employee behind the counter didn't greet us and stayed on his phone while two of us waited to order. He moved incredibly slow, forgot our drinks, and then brought out the wrong ones. Another table mentioned waiting 45 minutes for their food in an otherwise empty restaurant. He also kept going in and out of the bathroom. While we ate our take out order there, he probably went to the bathroom 5 times in 45 minutes. And the worst part was he was the only one working the counter. Food Quality: The $25 Birria plate came with three very small tacos--smaller than the palm of my hand. The tortillas were soggy as if undercooked, the meat lacked seasoning, and the consommé had no flavor. The drinks were so overly sweet they were hard to finish. It's sad to see how much things have changed. Between the lack of customer service, high prices, and poor food quality, I won't be returning.

The owner, Thyda, and the other two men working with her were such amazing hosts and so hospitable! My daughter and me walked over from Whole Foods and ordered a carne asada burrito ($16) and a chicken quesadilla ($10). We ordered it to go, but got to sit down with others enjoying their food, talk story with the owners, and meet a cutie pup named Whaler who just roamed around like their little mascot. We could've sat there and talked all day with them but we needed to get that food home so we could tear into to. The bag was heavy lol The carne asada burrito was so big and hefty, and I could only finish 2/3 of it, and to be honest, going to finish it after I finish this review. The meat is well seasoned and the ratio of the fillings to meat and tortilla were perfect. My daughter LOVED her chicken quesadilla and that was definitely a winner too. The meat was seasoned so good and for the price was so good. Everything was just such a win today with food after coming to them. Do yourself a favor and try anything from them, because I guarantee it will be great! Come for the cool taco truck vibes, good convo, but stay for the food cause next time we'll be eating it there hot and fresh next time we come.
