We are using less electricity now than were then (fewer people living here and we are gone from the home approx 2 months a year), and still when adding the lump sum payment due to REU annually and the payments on the remaining $18,000 owed of the $40,000, we were much better off with no solar. And to add insult to injury, the system stops working every year (which you have to monitor). Save yourself the cost and instead make a generous contribution to an environmental charity and you'll come out better financially and your donation will help the cause of saving the environment in a more effective manner.

Then I had to regroup due to money matters and postponed for a year - they were very patient and understanding. A month ago Green Wired informed me I'd have to pay another building permit fee($460) if I postponed past December 9th. I was able to get my money figured out and they were able to fit me into their schedule. The infrastructure for the panels took a full day for installation and then the team came back to install the panels, microinverters and Combiner. The quiet, efficient and thorough job the team did allowed me to have a stress free day. I tipped each member of the team, as I realized it was them that make good on the promises of the company. We went back to Six Rivers and found that they have their own crew that can remove the panels and re-install them once the roof was complete. The coordination of this was very smooth, office staff fantastic, (Liz, Andrea, and Jaz), in fitting us into their busy schedule for both the removal, and re-install. They know their products, and safely stored them when removed. Our roofers ended on a Friday, and the re-install team was there on that same day and did a wonderful job reinstalling the panels (28 of them), and ensured that they were functioning properly.
