Five stars isn't enough!! We collected quotes from six local companies, ranging from the big names in town to midsize companies and even small independent electricians. The quote from Jackson Electric fell right in the middle. But what set them apart and made our decision crystal clear was the thoroughness of their quote. Charles not only answered all of my questions and eased my concerns, but he also provided a very detailed quote that listed each item in detail for the work that would be completed. The quote included absolutely all of our requests to a T. Charles had great communication, was speedy at scheduling all of the needed permits and appointments, and kept us informed the whole time from start to finish. Charles and his team completed a full rewire of our 1950s cloth-wired home and upgraded our panel from an old XO 100-amp panel to a new 200-amp panel. As first-time homeowners, we were very nervous about this big project, but we knew our home was a huge fire risk with the old wiring. Charles set all of our worries at ease. His team completed the job a day earlier than promised and cleaned up very nicely. Charles also came back out to help us troubleshoot a concern after the project was complete, free of charge. My wife, our kids, and I can now sleep soundly at night knowing that our home's electrical is no longer a risk. Charles and his team went above and beyond for our project. This company deserves 5 stars because their work and customer service is outstanding! I run a non-profit organization in the downtown area and both Charles and Edwardo were quick but thorough in addressing the electrical upgrades to our building and they worked around our schedules so that our business with clients was not interrupted at all. Electric Water Tank: Before we had the plumber bring the new electric water tank, we needed an electrician to come out to quote. Charles (the owner) was responsive and kind. He provided a comprehensive and competitive quote, and was able to answer all our questions. He and Abe provided a quality and clean job installing a new 30A circuit in addition to disconnecting off main panel to code. Moving into a new house, we had some lighting upgrades that we needed to do with a fairly quick timeframe before move-in. Charles was able to fit us into his schedule and worked a 12 hour day to get the job completed. He did a great job installing 3 banks of LED recessed lighting with Lutron switches for smart dimming features. He was super personable and had some great suggestions on light spacing and placement. For the lights he sighted them in with a laser for perfect alignment. His wire pulls and box work were super clean and he fixed a bad 3 way switch and installed a couple of new fans in a fraction of the time I could have done it. read more

Charles was the first to get back to me from the three electricians on the Yelp list in my area-- an hour or so before one of them, and a full day before the third. His response was literally within 20 minutes. I called him and he came out within 30 minutes of the time I had finished with PG&E. When he arrived he looked over the situation and I called the guy from PG&E who had come out to assess the situation. They both talked on the phone while Charles was standing at my main breaker box. They both agreed on the fix. Charles went out to do an estimate in a neighboring town and came back directly after with the parts we needed. He got to work, fixed everything, double-checked everything in and in and out of the house. Then, I wrote him a check for an extremely reasonable price.
