I contacted Reed Electric through yelp on a Sunday morning and I received a call less than 2 hours later. I explained my situation and Reed helped me troubleshoot my fridge and circuit over the phone and discovered my circuit breaker was working properly and the problem was my fridge. Reed was very helpful and informative with my questions. I asked him how much for his time and he said no charge. Needless to say, if I ever have electrical issues, I'll be calling Reed Electric again. Just had my new fridge installed Wednesday and no issue with the power/circuit. Thanks Reed

I am no good when it comes to electrical and felt my over-the-phone diagnoses were going nowhere with the other companies I had called for bids. Swearingen was the only of the companies to not only come out to give the estimate in-person, but also provide me with a timely quote. The quote I was given was in my budget so I went forth and scheduled the service. I based my decision heavily off of this company's online reviews as multiple had mentioned hot tub wiring, which was what I was in need of. Devon's assistant came out bright and early on the scheduled date and installed the line in the course of a few hours. I was impressed at the precision and feel that the quality was on par with what I was hoping for. Good electrician overall. I deducted one star as the final cost was 20% over what I was quoted - and it was due same day. Not the end of the world, but I did have to move money from my other accounts to accommodate the request (house-poor new homeowner here). Ultimately, all worked out. I can happily say that my hot tub works great. I'm glad I went with this company.

I don't normally post reviews but I just felt like I had to share this. I called Kurt a few weeks back about removal and installation of an over the range microwave. He didn't answer and I left him a message explaining why I called. He never called me back. Today my wife told me that she had Kurt coming out to our house to check it out because he didn't understand what she was asking. She said it was a $75 service fee. I was curious why he was confusing a quote with a service fee so I called him and left another message. He called me back pretty quickly. I explained who I was and had asked him about the appointment. He very gruffly told me that he didn't know which appointment I was and that he had three that day. When I started to describe the situation he recalled details from my original message from weeks before. I told him that he never called me back but it's okay. He responded by telling me he called my wife. Yeah. He did. Because she called him TODAY. I then asked about the appointment and he said that he doesn't do microwaves. Umm... he was coming out to our house for a $75 service fee to do what? He was pretty short with me so I told him three times that I wanted to cancel the appointment before he listened. I said have a good day and hung up. Thinking it was over I went to tell my wife that I cancelled and explained the above. Her phone started ringing and we thought it might have been him so I answered. He seemed stunned. He knew exactly who I was. I told him that we cancelled and asked him why he was calling my wife. He responded by saying he didn't know she was my wife... I was pretty irritated by this point and I let him know so he ended the conversation by telling me not to call him again and he hung up on me. Charles had great communication, was speedy at scheduling all of the needed permits and appointments, and kept us informed the whole time from start to finish. Charles and his team completed a full rewire of our 1950s cloth-wired home and upgraded our panel from an old XO 100-amp panel to a new 200-amp panel.
